My grandfather on my father's side was a Yale educated mildly prominent physician in his time who thought outside the box when in the best interest of the patient. His ground breaking research earned him an additional Honorary Degree from the University. Additionally my great aunt on my mother's side was one of the first women to graduate from Yale Medical School. I cite both not out of arrogance as I myself was not smart enough to get in, lol, but rather as context for my affinity for Dr. Schroter's willingness to look beyond "the system" and actually be a true patient advocate. To those who drive to Middletown or Meriden or Hartford to flee the ever growing 'epic' empire of silos I assure you with Dr. Schroter you get both the superior knowledge many associate with Yale Inc as well as the differentiation of sincere caring and a somewhat hectic at times but genuine patient first attitude.

Another dentist might have tried and failed or just recommended an extraction. After having many recurring and persistent Dental issues he has been primarily responsible for getting my dental situation resolved and for several years and everything is now stable. His prices are fair, especially considering the services rendered. Cheap dental work is like discount Sushi, something to be avoided. Recommended.

I have been hesitant to write this review for quite some time but proceed with extreme caution. I…read morereceived awful care and a deeply unprofessional experience with this office. I am now on my third corrective surgery following a routine bunionectomy. The office staff was dishonest about insurance prior authorizations, failed to return phone calls, and did not complete FMLA paperwork resulting in pay lapses from work and all of the additional burdens associated with (bill auto pay, card rejections, calling HR multiple times). But WORST of all- Dr. Delott was aware of the broken hardware in my foot and never followed up. What should have been a routine 8 week recovery has now turned into a 2.5 year ordeal. And the other foot which also had a bunionectomy has recurred and is more painful now then it was prior to surgery. Such a major disappointment given that he came highly recommended.

I'm writing about my Nov-2011 visit. I can't speak for her medical expertise since I haven't seen…read moreher in years but her new office is a JOKE. I sat in the waiting room for 2 HOURS. When I got up to inquire if I'd be seen next (this was after waiting an hour and a half) the receptionist acted as if I was bother her and how dare I even ask such a question. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. When I finally was seen by the nurse, I was with her for about 15 minutes, and I'm being generous on the time. She sent me for blood work and told me I didn't need another appointment and once they got the blood results they'd call me if necessary. Well, after waiting days, I still hadn't received a call. After my THIRD attempt to call and speak to someone (oh, and this was after I called and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes; finally I hung up and just called back since they probably forgot about me) I was told all my results were fine but to schedule another appontment for in a month. When I asked why since that isn't what the nurse said the receptionist quickly changed the tone in her voice and let the attitude come out... Needless to say, I'm now seeing a new PCP and just went for new blood work since the previous requested work wasn't thorough and most likely IS an illness while this office was so quick to say everything was fine.

However, there is a woman at the front desk by the name of Amy, who is extremely rude, and unhelpful. I have spoken to her twice, she is argumentative, would not let me finish speaking, and started her sentence with "no, no" and tried to give me misinformation. I was returning a call to Dr. Gentes' nurse, and Amy told me that I could not leave a voicemail, which I had done about a month previously. She did not give my message to the nurse, who called me, and was very upset that she never received the message, it not only has caused a significant amount of wasted time, but has also compromised my care.

I suffer from a lot of dental anxiety I've had many bad experiences from previous places but Dr.David made me feel the most comfortable I've ever felt being in a dentists chair. I am truly thankful! He eased the anxiety, talked me through everything and overall it was a wonderful experience and that is very hard for me to say about the dentist. The way that he handled my dental issues, his attentiveness, he listens. You can clearly tell that he cares about his patients and will do what he can to help you. I truly believe that he made the right choice in his career path, it's his calling. I know he will help, and help ease the dental anxieties of others. Daniel at the front desk and the other woman I do not remember her name but they are very helpful and very nice. Linda and T are so amazing and so sweet! Dr.Roti had worked on me in the past too and he was very nice. I would overall recommend.

I would rather see a clinician like her as opposed to other practices where-you see a different person every time. They can be polite and organized but not provide adequate care. Now that I have switched (new ins.), she not only remembers my family, I feel as though, I'm treated like family. She takes her time. She is thorough and careful. She explains things. I've only been seeing her for a bout a year now but I've been a few times already as I got the flu and I needed a physical. I'm also diabetic and while I see an endocrinologist regularly for that, she was very attentive to my diabetes and wants to stay updated on my endocrine appointments. As for my grandmother, when my grandma passed, it was Dr. Nwangwu's who listened to her symptoms and really investigated. She was able to help find the cause of her pain shortly before her passing. It was unexpected and the answers came as a result of the thorough labwork Nwangwu had ordered. I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes (I've visited the office probably 6 or 7 times this year) and when I had trouble initially and misunderstanding with my insurance claim, I questioned my bills and they reviewed each claim with me. I was even offered a discount on my portion since I'd felt there had been some misunderstanding regarding my insurance/initial visit. She's great.

Let me cut right to it. My family and I have been going to Dr. Kim (Milford walk in) for over 20…read moreyears. Overall she is a very nice person and doctor. However the office and the employees are another story. Most are interns that come and go. Let me say that the relationship you think you have with your physician can quickly be ruined especially when you have an issue or question. This happened to me today. I simply called and spoke to Wendy about a couple of office visits. Some of these visits were less then 3min. I perfectly understand insurance but requested to speak with Dr. Kim on a issue. When that happens it turns into money not the relationship. Wendy quickly got back on the phone and stated she spoke to Dr. Kim and she said unfortunately she cannot do anything. All I wanted was a quick chat. In conclusion look for at least a more up to date, private, professional office. I never really felt any of these factors until I was treated like a number today and not a 20+ year patient. I will never return to this office.
