I was able to get them for a discounted price through the pharmacy. It was still expensive and I was not sure I'd be able to raise the funds for the shots. I was able to scrap together the 420.00 for the shots. Once the shots were available for shipment, the office called me back to tell me I was responsible for the fee to inject the shots, another 600.00+ Why was I not given this information before they ordered them? I asked and they said people just pay and don't ask questions. OMG. I was told I was the first person to say this. The response was appalling. Lucky, I was able to call and get my money back for the shots. I will be looking for another office.

A kind, patient and reassuring person who explains everything and is very caring. I've been told by the operating staff that he is absolutely meticulous with his technique when operating. I can believe it as I just had a metatarsal foot repair, no pain. Prior to that, I had a tendon transfer for my second toe which had shredded and was dislocating with each step. No pain. Catherine has been working on my ankle for a week now and it is already improving! I originally scheduled an appointment with another therapist in Danbury, I had to wait a month to get the appointment and when I arrived the receptionist made a huge mistake and they couldn't see me. (They were also rude and did nothing to fix her mistake and get me in) I found Greenwood PT online and called. I called in a panic because my ankle hurt so bad. They accommodated my schedule and even came in at 7:20 AM for me so that I could come before work! The office is so clean. There's a TV. The equipment is all brand new. The woman Connie at the front desk is so sweet and not only is Catherine so good at what she does but she has a great personality. They take insurance. They were extremely inconsiderate toward my mother--who is 92 years old and in poor health who arrived on time for her scheduled appointment with the podiatrist, Dr Yu. The staff member, G Yu was very insensitive toward my mom. I tried to explain to G Yu that my mother had an open wound on her back and was in pain; despite having arrived punctually for her scheduled appointment, she was left waiting for over an hour and was the last patient to be seen. I was attempting to kindly intercede on behalf of my mother, who suffers from dementia and cannot speak for herself. G Yu completely disregarded my concerns and in retaliation she told me not to bring my mother back again. G. Yu appears to be the person in charge of the facility--the one who initiated the despicable act of patient abandonment--since the doctor simply complied when she asked him to discharge my mother and hand over her discharge papers. They are clearly in violation of ACA and HIPAA. I would like to remind this family medicine practice that they are not in China. We are in the United States of America, and people here have the right to be treated with respect and fairly. They advertise this website that does not exist: www.advancedmedicalfootcare.org.
