Who knew Fairhope Alabama is the vacation destination of America?! It is so beautiful there! On a whim, I decided we would take our first vacation in 3 years there and found Jubilee Suites online. Let me tell you, some places, (and people for that matter lol), don't look like their pictures they post on the internet. Not this place. Everything you see online is a true depiction of this gem. We stayed in the New Orleans suite. It is right off the courtyard. We grilled steaks one night and sat out there for dinner one night. It's so peaceful with the fountain bubbling and the string lights in the old magnolia tree. There's a swing in the front yard as you come out of the courtyard. It's the perfect place to sit and read a book or answer work emails like I had to do.‍ The breakfasts in the morning were AMAZING! The staff and owners are top notch. We felt 100% like family by the end of the trip. They provided kayaks to take out on the bay. We went out one day into the marina and down fly creek. On the way back we stopped at the marina, deciphered a way to tie up the kayaks and climbed up on the dock. There was a cute little restaurant where we had a delicious lunch outside right on the water. We went back and hung out for a bit on the private beach of the property. It was the best day! The beds are comfy, the property is clean, there are so many small touches that are so intentional. There's a sound machine in the bedroom! Tea pots and cups with hand crafted teas are in the kitchen, guest books with a litany of activities listed to enjoy... I could go on and on about this slice of heaven right on Mobile Bay. And all I keep telling everyone is, "Who knew such a place exists?" Well, we do now and will certainly be back as often as we can. read more

I can truly say that their website and pictures don't do this place justice. It is beautiful, inside and out, well landscaped, tastefully furnished with well chosen art (much of which is by local artists), modern appliances, updated kitchens and bathrooms, every amenity one could possibly need, consummate hosts (Dana and Jim), and a pleasure to visit and be a guest in. Ideally located in Fairhope, it is close to great restaurants, shopping, sight-seeing, walking paths/trails, other quaint and historic little "villages" such as Daphne, Montrose, Point Clear, Magnolia Springs, Malbis, Spanish Fort, and of course Mobile across the bay. The grounds are well maintained, contain a variety of flowers, fruit trees, New Orleans style fountains, lights at night that highlight the brick paths and old established trees, outdoor art sculptures, gazebo, covered comfortable outdoor seating, even a fire pit that is lit every night and surrounded by plentiful chairs and drink tables, cornhole game...all overlooking serene Mobile Bay and complimenting Fairhope's streets that are lined with beautiful, colorful flower beds and hanging baskets. It's a home away from home, a place you don't want to leave, and an experience that you will want to return to again and again. I cannot even begin to describe how absolutely wonderful this place is! Even before I arrived, Christy was so accommodating! From walking into your suite, you instantly begin to notice all the small details that was done to make your stay the best: fresh flowers in each room and local made tea just to name a few. The view is absolutely amazing! I would def recommend a second floor suite. Now let me just give a shout out to two women that literally could do it all... from Christy who cooks, decorates, landscapes, florist, cosmetologist, musician - I'm sure there is more (literally HOSTESS OF THE MOSTEST!) to Caitlyn - yoga instructor, kayak guide, grass mower, fisher, etc! These ladies did it all. I will definitely be back! And hope to meet the owners next time! But to the owners... The Dogwood ranks as one of our favorites to date. Our hosts thought of everything. The view was breathtaking; looking straight out over water, we enjoyed watching the sailboats, the gorgeous sunsets, and the tranquility of it all. The space was very well appointed. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the Turkish cotton towels and sheets as well as all the thoughtful details throughout; Meyers soaps, sound machines, multiple streaming accounts loaded into the tv, a nice little Bluetooth enabled speaker to listen to music, local snacks and coffee, beautiful candle, purified water in the fridge. No expense was spared in the amenities and it showed. Everything was spotless, crisp and well cared for. As a germophobe, I especially enjoyed how clean everything was. Check-in was convenient and simple. Parking a breeze. Location was super convenient. Even though there were 5 other units, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was private, peaceful, and just what we needed for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back! read more

Everything was absolutely fantastic. You definitely get your money's worth in quality, cleanliness, comfort, atmosphere, and service. The grounds are beautifully kept with lots of comfortable seating areas to enjoy the bay view. Our dog loved being there, too. The suite comes with so many amenities including a Roku TV and a wonderful variety of food, beverages, and coupons to local restaurants. The white linens were clean, the bathroom was spacious, and shower had great pressure. The owners, Jim and Dana, were very friendly and accommodating. They provided good communications during our booking and stay. You know they are ready to help you however you need but are not at all intrusive which is awesome for a bed and breakfast / small boutique hotel / rental property. The building is gorgeous and with the intimate setting in a residential neighborhood, we felt our stay was quiet, peaceful, and private. We look forward to returning to the Jubilee Suites on Mobile Bay. read more

Our stay at Jubilee Suites was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Innkeeper Jim and his wife Dana made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Their warmth and hospitality added such a personal touch to our visit. The highlight of each day was, without a doubt, the delicious breakfasts Jim prepared, and we looked forward to starting our mornings with his amazing treats. Dana went above and beyond by sharing some of her favorite recipes with us, which was such a special gesture. Their son was equally helpful, offering great tips for local restaurants and hidden gems around town, making our experience in Fairhope even more memorable. Got away from our typical hotel stay and we felt we struck gold! This place, located in the beautiful town of Fairhope, is just lovely. Our suite had a furnished balcony overlooking a manicured backyard with a fire pit and welcoming seating areas to relax with a cocktail or just sit and absorb the peacefulness. In addition, we had an expansive view of Mobile Bay and a beach to enjoy kayaking, if we had wanted. The amenities included were like anything we've encountered in our travels! C'mon, who gets a fridge stocked with water, soft drinks, and condiments including HOT SAUCE?! Other items supplied were coffee, cream, dish soap, laundry detergent, tp, paper towels, pots, pans and much more. Linens were crisp and clean! The hosts and staff are top notch. They take pride in JS and it definitely shows. The daily breakfast (made from scratch ) was a real treat and it was nice to sit and chat with our hosts and guests. Wow!! Wow wow wow! I was looking to book a last minute vacation to the coast for my family near Gulf Shores and there was nothing, so as I start scrolling the map I see mobile bay and a see Jubilee Suites hosted by Jim and Dana, just from the picture we we're blown away, and once we got there, it was over and beyond what we could have ever expected. The suite was absolutely gorgeous with 3rd floor balcony views of the bay and everything we needed! No need to go grocery shopping as Jim and Dana cook breakfast every morning for all the residents staying there! Yes; there are other residents, but we never really saw anyone else except for morning breakfast, which you could also take back to your room and eat. The backyard was beautifully Landscaped and it was a short walk to the private 200ft of beach which was incredible. We may never go back to the coast again, it's all about the bay! Jubilee Suites is a rare jewel on Mobile Bay in Fairhope, Al. Most if not all suites have stunning views of Mobile Bay viewed through bay windows or from the balcony. There is a large bluff yard with a wide birds eye view of the bay. The suites are beautifully decorated and appointed with everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay and a sound sleep. There is a very zen yoga space on the top floor with a view of the bay where you can practice yoga on your own or you can arrange to have a class with a local teacher who will teach on site. This is a great place to stay with a group, it is the perfect size and location for family reunions, weddings, retreats, girls weekend etc.The grounds are beautiful, there is a lovely courtyard and multiple private seating areas outside to enjoy the property in privacy or with others. This is a unique property with a reich history unlike any other in this area. read more

What a wonderful weekend at Jubilee Suites! Jim and Dana are the perfect hosts, and provided everything we could possibly need for our daughters wedding weekend. It was a beautiful location, with amazing sunsets overlooking Mobile Bay. The Jubilee Suites coordinator, Christy, was a joy to work with and did a great job with the flowers, reception & dinner. The breakfast every morning with delicious homemade baked breads, omelets, fresh fruit, was a great way to start the day of exploring downtown Fairhope or taking a drive to the nearby beaches. The beach at Jubilee Suites was a great place to relax and the kids enjoyed it! We reserved all 7 suites for our wedding families and they were all clean and beautifully appointed with all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay! We will definitely be returning! read more

A total gem!! We stayed at Jubilee Suites mid March for a wedding in Fairhope. Our stay was PERFECT. The property and the suite we stayed in made our trip with 2 small children so easy. Originally from Mobile, but now in NYC, I have several family and friends still in the area and have been telling all of them how great Jubilee Suites are for visiting family. The unit came with all the basics and the sunsets on the balcony were breathtaking. Jim and Dana were so incredibly welcoming. The location was awesome too. The weekend we were there, the arts and crafts festival was going on and we walked to town both Friday and Sunday. A beautiful 15 min walk max with lots to see along the way. This was the second time our family of 4 stayed at Jubilee Suites. We were looking for a place to go where we could socially distance, as we have baby #3 on the way. The way the suites are accessible from outside made this a perfect destination. Our boys were able to pick blueberries, tomatoes, and strawberries from the garden and loved the balcony visits from the owners cat, Meeko. The local restaurants were open and we were able to utilize curbside pickup from the main downtown area minutes away. The cleanliness of the suites, the breathtaking views, and the Southern hospitality of Jim and Dana made this small weekend getaway one we will never forget. We are so glad we decided to go, and cannot wait to return. read more

We just completed a 11 night stay at Jubilee Suites and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The Azalea Suite was big and roomy for our four guest and the balcony overlooking Mobile Bay was spectacular. The bathrooms and large walk in showers were clean and a real highlight. We cooked several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher. Because we were on such a long trip, we used the in suite washer and dryer for many loads of clothes, and they worked perfectly. Of course the highlight of the entire stay is waking up, having that first cup of coffee on the balcony and then meandering downstairs to a wonderful, to order, breakfast and a visit with the owners Jim and Dana. I recently rented two rooms for a relaxing bachelorette weekend with a group of girlfriends. From the moment we were greeted by the owners, Jim and Dana, we felt welcome and at home. The sense of hospitality was incredible and had us in awe throughout our stay. From the delicious home cooked breakfast to the beautiful grounds, our experience was wonderful. The manager Christy organized a local yoga instructor to host a private class for us on site, which was a relaxing experience. We also spent time by the firepit curled up with Miko, the friendliest cat that resides on the premises. I cannot recommend staying at the Jubilee Suites enough. Wonderful place to stay! We originally wanted to stay at the Grand, but so glad we stayed here!!! There are too many personal touches to count- just bring clothes! Everything else is provided. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything you'd need in it, including breakfast. Loved the little beach they have on the bay, which has umbrellas, chairs, and kayaks set up. The owners live on the property and are very accessible and quick to respond. They offer multiple services, including massages. They have a beautiful spot to catch the sunset and offer multiple seating areas to enjoy it. You will not regret staying here. We hope to come back one day! read more

As Director of the Southwest Mississippi Community College Institute for Learning in Retirement, I planned a trip to stay at Jubilee Suites and tour Bellingrath Gardens and Home at Christmas. Never seeing the place in person and solely going by photos, I really didn't know what to expect. But, oh my goodness, it was beyond all of our expectations!!! Dana, Jim, Christy and the staff were amazing and treated us all like good friends the whole time we were there from homeade breakfast to a delicious surf and turf meal. The suites were fabulous with such a beautiful view and it was so quiet and peaceful. Do yourself a favor and visit this beautiful place. read more

We had a wonderful time. Our suite was perfect and the view from the balcony ... well, you just can't beat it. The sunsets are amazing. But what made our visit one of the nicest stays we've had is the hospitality of the owners and the friendliness of the guests. This is a very special place and we will return, hopefully many times. What's there to do in Fairhope? This is a great little town with flowers on every street corner. We took walks along the pier, ate at great restaurants, went fishing in the ocean with a captain and his mate, and enjoyed the music at Live at Five. Five stars isn't enough ... we'll give them 6! read more
