I took my car in for a leak and was prepared to wait at least one week for it to be repaired due to the fact that it was the week of thanksgiving. To my surprise, it was ready the very next day! just now They sold me a listed 2020 Dmax nudge bar for my Ute. It should have been listed as up to 08/2020, but my car was made from 08/2020++. They refuse to respond, refuse to correct their mistake, and refuse to refund. They continue to list their parts as just 2020, without specifying which models. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!! Filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs They argued with me for an hour, because they are incapable of understanding when they have made a mistake, and they definitely wouldn't pay a cent to make things right. JTM is the best auto mechanic shop in all of Whittier. Narim is the shop owner and he's very honest as well as knowledgeable. I've taken multiple cars to him throughout the years because unfortunately I like to buy far from perfect cars. Nonetheless I've always trusted JTM and they've never let me down. Low prices and honest mechanic is hard to come by nowadays. My 2004 Subaru WRX was overheating and coolant was coming out of the radiator. I thought it was head gasket but JTM assured me it was just the radiator that needed replacing. Had it fixed promptly and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. WARNING....DO NOT GO HERE! I got rear brakes, an oil change, and a tuneup from here. My rear brake that they worked on (less than a week ago) literally CAME LOOSE ON THE FREEWAY. The caliper literally came off and I almost crashed. my wheel is all messed up and my tire is flat as a result as well. Narin better bend over backwards to fix the brake and wheel damage as a direct result of the shabby work or he will see me in court...... waiting for my tow truck now. Thanks JTM Automotive! update... the brakes were put together without tightening the bolts. the other brake side they worked on was about to fall apart as well. total Neglegence. Been going to JTM Automotive for atleast 5 years now. I always trust Narim to do a good job. I took my 99 civic to do front brakes. Narim charges a very competitive price. He only charged 90 to replace both front Rotors and pads. I did supply the part but nonetheless Pep Boys wanted to charge 175. Narim does great work and he is the most honest mechanic you will find. I would give JTM more stars if I could. On multiple occasions over the years I've taken my car in expecting to pay over $1000 and left with a bill under $100. I was recently quoted from multiple mechanics between 800 and 1200 for my 90k mile service. I left JTM paying $60 and that was for a full synthetic oil change and an air filter replacement. They said everything else looked good on my car and did not need to be replaced yet. $0 fee for inspection. Any other mechanic would have pulled out the book with a list of things to replace and charge me for even if it wasn't needed. These guys are prime examples of how business should be done. read more

The engine light on my Hyundai Santa Fe lit up, so I took the car for the first time at JTM Automotive (based on the other positive reviews). I told Narin that I had read good reviews on Yelp and elsewhere online. He helped me right away. He plugged in his instrument to get a diagnostic and told me that the onboard computer had detected an abnormal evaporation. He suspected it came from not having closed the gas tank cap tightly enough. He turned off the engine light, told me to go on driving and monitor the engine light if it lit up again. If it didn't, that's all it was. He refused any payment when I offered to give him something for his time (even though it lasted about 10 minutes). He was very polite and courteous. I will definitely return when my car needs repair. read more
