This was my friend group's first time checking out this place, and it will definitely be our last…read more Immediately after entering the bar, we were stared at by the staff and people coming in. The female manager, with the sides of her head shaved, was hugging, kissing, and being overly familiar with every customer who walked in. It was extremely uncomfortable. We decided to play a game of pool and noticed a pool stick already on the table, along with others. A customer, who the manager had been hugging and kissing, came over to my friend, aggressively grabbed the stick, and made a scene, telling my friend that it was his stick and that there would be a problem if he used it again. Later, my friend accidentally left a beer on the pool table (we know it's not allowed, it was an honest mistake). Without warning, the manager--who appeared to be on something--came over, reached around my friend, grabbed the beer, and shouted, "Is this your beer? Get it off my fucking table!" Then, she returned to the group of people by the bar. We all noticed they were talking about us and pointing in our direction. To top it off, there was a "singer" at the bar who was singing over the original Spotify track, which was honestly more comical than anything else. The entire atmosphere was unprofessional and uncomfortable. When we left, the same manager was staring us down in the parking lot. This place felt very run-down and appeared to be run by a group of friends and regulars. Any newcomers should beware--these people are not friendly at all. Worst bar I've ever been to, hands down.

We live in Lyndon not too far from this establishment but had never visited until Saturday. We were…read moreheaded to the Post Office, in the mood for a beer and a burger, and wanted to try something new so we gave it a go. When we walked in, it's honestly what we expected - a little hole in the wall, but it's really so much more than that!! The service was excellent. The staff, was warm and welcoming. The place is extremely clean and the food was really good. It was still pretty early so it was quiet, and there was only one patron at the bar and another playing the slot machine. We took a seat at the bar which had menus sitting on it so we began to look it over, and noticed so many items that sounded intriguing. Dennis, (pretty sure that was his name), was back in the kitchen cooking so it took him a few minutes to notice us which we didn't mind. We ordered two bottled beers, and I was amazed at how cold they were, I even commented on it. In my experience a lot of places do not serve "cold" beer so it was a nice surprise. We asked Dennis for some suggestions which he named off a few, BLT, BELT, Philly cheesesteak wrap, the burgers and more ..... he explained they try to cook fresh not frozen as much as possible which you can tell! The burger patties are hand rolled, and the dressings are hand sliced. He almost sold me on the Philly cheesesteak wrap but we both ordered the Caboose Burger, which is their version of a cheese burger, it came with chips or you can upgrade to waffle fries for a small up charge which we did. The burger came out piping hot, had great flavor and was delicious. The fries were also cooked perfectly, not too soggy, and not too crispy. We enjoyed one more beer while we ate, played a little Keno and then had to cash out to continue running our errands but I can honestly say I can't wait to get back and try some more of the things on the menu and simply just hang out there.

Every Saturday night has a live band and of course a cover charge after 9pm. There is a lot of tables and chairs available for eating and watching bands. There are also a few pool tables as well. There is food available as well and I have never had their food despite hearing that it is really good. They do make some awesome tasting drinks though. The way they make a Sex on the Beach is one of the best ones I've had. This place also has some very cool decor inside as well. There is a fountain and an old telephone booth in a different area of of the place but of all things, I happen to like the fountain the most. I highly recommend this place if you are wanting to see some good bands. This place does need some work furniture wise. Still all in all a good place to watch some live local bands.

The atmosphere is that of a crowd consisting of mainly 25 years or older. Size of crowd is hit or miss depending on band playing. I go a few times a year sign large group of friends and we always have a good time. Never really seen any drama or issues up there either. So that is always a positive.

I've never written a Yelp review about a security guard before, but here we are... because…read moreapparently this place hired someone who thinks he's auditioning for a low-budget action movie. From the second my friends and I walked in this guy had it out for us for absolutely no reason. We were literally minding our business, playing pool, not causing a scene or anything. Meanwhile, this dude is circling us like we're in the final round of a surveillance drill. At one point, he comes over to remind us "no drinks on the table" except there were no drinks on the table. Not near it not even in the same zip code as the table. I've seen imaginary friends with more awareness of reality. This man walks up to me and asks me to lift my shirt apparently deciding, on his own, that I might be carrying a firearm. No explanation, no context, just straight to treating me like I'm in a TSA line at an airport that doesn't exist. Then as if that wasn't weird enough, he tells me to spin around so he can "check" me. At this point I wasn't sure if I was at a bar or being processed into a minimum-security facility. Let me be clear: I understand security has a job to do. But there's a massive difference between keeping people safe and going on a personal power trip because you have the word "security" on a t-shirt. All of this happened while nothing else was going on. No fights. No chaos. No reason to single us out unless the job description includes "randomly harass customers for entertainment." If this is the kind of experience this place is going for, they nailed it. If not, they might want to have a conversation with the guy at the door who thinks he's the main character. I'll take my business somewhere that doesn't come with a surprise pat-down and a side of attitude.
