This review is long overdue. Jas and Mandy are fantastic photographers and an amazing team. They were both creative, professional, and friendly throughout the entire process. My husband and I had a multi-cultural wedding that included a Hindu-Indian ceremony and a Christian-Filipino ceremony all in one day. Jas and Mandy did an amazing job capturing the essence of both ceremonies. They were extremely efficient keeping up with our action packed wedding day schedule, and were able to photograph our very big families. I had been admiring the work of Jas and Mandy of JSK Photography for years on IG: @jskphotos Their work captures details, happiness, and has a bit of a royal Bollywood feel! Many of my friends have had the pleasure of working with the duo, husband and wife, for their special events. Countless recommendations aside, I already knew that JSK was the perfect choice for capturing my event! I spoke with Jas and Mandy a couple times before the event and they had great recommendations for outdoor photoshoot locations prior to the event. Jas came right on time with an assistant photographer. They were both very sweet and down to earth people to work with. Jas has great photo ideas and took some of my suggestions too! :) JSK puts their whole heart into their photography and always exceeds everyone's expectations because they're truly passionate about what they do, and it shows in their work! Jas stayed over an hour past what I hired him for, just to ensure he captured all the special moments of my event! He didn't get in the guests way, didn't get annoyed with people snapping photos with their cell phones (as I've seen photographers do); he was patient and very much a part of the party! Jas had the photos up and posted with a link to view them less than 24 hours after my event! Talk about dedication! I was literally moved to tears by the beautiful outcome of the photos, and I'm so happy that I was lucky enough to have them cover my event! We booked Jas and Mandy for our engagement photos and engagement party and were sooo happy we did!!! They are amazing at their work, the photos speak for them self. They caught each of our moments beautifully and expertly. Before booking them, I went through a million websites and pictures online; but their work just has a vibrancy and beauty that will make you fall in love. After so much research, my family had high expectations from my photos and Jas and Mandy did not disappoint! My family loved their work! In our initial negotiations, Jas and Mandy were very prompt in their emails and were easily booked online. I had lots of questions and they answered each one. When it came to meeting them in person, their genuine character and love for their craft was obvious. They are very down to earth and made us feel comfortable for each of our sessions. Working with such sweet individuals made each of our events run that much smoother and had us feeling good vibes throughout the night. Unfortunately, they are already booked for my wedding date, but if I could, I would book them in a heartbeat. So, my advice is don't take too long to make a decision! They will get booked fast. Jas and Mandy are great photographers and awesome people. If you can book them for your wedding do not hesitate. Right after reaching out to them we were able to schedule a short phone call so they could hear our goals for wedding photography and the kinds of pictures we wanted. Jas and Mandy were willing to work with us and offer their own perspective. We had wanted the photography to not be too intrusive to the wedding events. We wanted good pictures but not to take away from meeting our guests.About a month before the wedding we provided them with inspiration pictures. On the wedding day Jas and Mandy were excellent. You could tell they really enjoyed what they did. They came to events early to scope things out and find the best places to take pictures so we could get maximum time with family/friends. We got our wedding photos in a very reasonable time frame and were delighted with the results. As I write this I am still trying to figure out how to select pictures for our album. I highly recommend JSK if you want great photographs to remember your wedding. We found JSK through a family member and I am glad we did! Jas and Mandy are a great team. They dont harass you like other photographers (ie "stare dreamily and awkwardly into his eyes"), and are like ninjas with the camera so you dont feel paparazzied and paranoid the whole day. They do a lot of candid shots so you look more natural and relaxed in your photos. They are open to suggestions too and have good ideas if youre not sure how to pose ("what do I do with my arms?"). If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further because Jas and Mandy are your people! We booked over a year in advanced because I knew right away I didn't want anyone else covering my wedding besides these two. Even though we're located in Southern California, Jas and Mandy made sure to show up to every wedding function at least half an hour before, if not an hour. From the moment they walked in it had felt like we had known them for forever. Both Jas and Mandy made us feel so comfortable in front of the lens. Almost every single family member that came in contact with these two have complimented on how sweet these two really are. Our photos were ready shortly after our wedding and all I can say is WOW. Jas is amazing! He was one of my favorite vendors for my wedding! Jas is very sweet and the more we got to know him the more apparent it was that photography is his passion and he isn't in it for the money. We had two weddings one Punjabi and one Filipino wedding and they did a spectacular job. Since we had two weddings and did most of the planning I was very stressed for both weddings hoping everything goes well. Jas not only gave me advice to breathe and calm down but he helped me with getting my family ready. We were running behind on some of the events and he didn't bat an eye and stayed longer than we contracted him to. He loves to capture great moments and pictures so he would even ask suggests things for us. We LOVED LOVED LOVED working with them. Weddings sometimes bring out the worst in brides and jas and Mandy was there every step of the way for us and helped us along. They even helped us showcase our interests when we told them we loved Star Wars and they brought a light saber and cloak for us during our engagement photo shoot. We absolutely loved working with Jas and Mandy for our engagement and wedding photos in July 2017! They had photographed my sister in law's wedding two years prior and seeing her photos we knew they did a great job. We met with Jas for an initial consult and loved his easy going personality! Immediately we knew he would be easy to work with and would help calm our nerves. Jas and Mandy made the planning process very easy and were so accommodating to all of our event and time changes (even up to a few weeks prior to the events). Jas and Mandy are the kindest and most caring people! During the wedding festivities, they were both very helpful and patient, especially when things became chaotic. Jas even got my husband and I a bite to eat after our post wedding photoshoot and Mandy repaired a bangle I was having issues with while getting reading on wedding day. They feel more like family members we have known for years versus a vendor we chose to photograph our wedding. As vendors, they are reliable, honest, and their pricing is fair.
