I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service my husband and I have been shown by your company. I loved your work and trusted you 100% on our wedding day to grab and gather the best video. I was taken aback that you were not in attendance as I did love your personal work but was pleased when I saw the teaser video of our videographers work. We paid $2,500 for our wedding day video including the drone footage, instagram clip, a highlight video and full feature film of our wedding day. How is it that we have now been told two separate times, beginning in February and again in May that our video is ready and will be sent to us. Please correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe it is that difficult to send those clips/video over to us. It doesn't seem like your phone is being answered or calls being returned, along with direct messages on Instagram, Facebook messages, email messages from my personal email address alongside my business email. If Yelp allowed 0 stars..that is what I'd give Mike. My fiancé and I decided to book resistance media to film our wedding day as he had previously done my nephews gender reveal and my cousins wedding and seemed to be good. The booking process was smooth for the most part, communication was a little slow but nothing I found worrisome in the beginning. Months started to approach for the wedding and I reached out to Mike in July (our wedding is September), Mike is blunt and unprofessional in emails so he said he was out of office and would get back to me... never did. I reached out stating I'm a little bit concerned in regards to the wedding video. I have some questions and concerns that need to be addressed as the wedding is approaching. I explained to him how I reached out via email 7/23 and via text 7/25. And that I'd really love to work on expediting communication between us! Mike never responds. I explained to him my concerns and that I no longer feel the highest package is necessary. To be honest.. I told mike this because I was no longer trusting him in filming my very expensive special event. Mikes website went down, emails were getting sent back to me, and he wasn't responding texts. To keep things short here, Mike gave me the runaround and tried to lie and say I never received his past responses which is a bunch of lies. I'm a professional person who keeps everything documented. We decided in the middle of all this drama to start reaching out to other videographers as my stress was high, as you can imagine. Mike took this as a sign that I originally had someone else lined up and was making excuses to get rid of him and have my deposit returned. This is FALSE, my mother gifted me a new videographer after seeing my level of stress. The communication with mike became so poor that I had my mother reach out to our family attorney. The emails between my mom, our attorney, and Mike were very clear in regards to what our concerns and requests were of Mike. In the end, Mike decided to completely ignore the last word via email and reach out to me weeks later (3 days prior to my wedding saying this: "Hey there! So I was just checking in to see if there was a timeline prepared for the day of the wedding! If you could send that over, that'd be wonderful!! " Coming from the psychological degree I obtain and the family I come from I can strongly say that Mike suffers something. I am aware he is currently going through a divorce and I feel that his personal life has impacted his professionalism. It is astonishing to me that he thinks he can ignore his customers completely and act as if nothing has been happening? I am sure he'll try to lie and say he responded... which is FALSE..just the way he tried to make it as if his website was never down which it was because he probably couldn't afford to even pay for it... ANYWAYS BE AWARE of MIKE. I do not want any future couple to go through what my fiancé and I have nor what my cousin and her husband have (I found out later my cousin had a similar awful experience) Mike is AWFUL. RESISTANCE is in the name of his business which clearly means "the refusal to accept or comply with something; the attempt to prevent something by action or argument." This is a perfect way to describe Mike. Additionally, you all can see other people's reviews and experiences and for yourselves will clearly be able to tell who Mike is. Mike, please do not attend our wedding on 9/14/19. We have had such an awful experience that we can take the loss on our deposit. We hope you can sleep well at night knowing the stress you've caused others. I highly suggest you read up on the law of attraction and karma, it may better help you realize why your world is currently crashing. read more

I work for a local Wedding Venue and have worked alongside Mike and loved his work. My husband and I decided we wanted him there to shoot our special day at my place of work; there was a stand in for Mike on the wedding day which was no problem to us as we were aware that this could happen. We received our Instagram teaser just a day or so after our wedding and absolutely fell in love; we could not wait to receive our full video and re-watch all of the important moments of our wedding day. January 2019 came around, 3 months after our Wedding and trust me I know how long Video can take working in the industry I know it is not something that is completed overnight for your full video but I wanted to just check and see what the timeline was looking like for our video's completion. It took a little while for Mike to respond, I did send a follow up email and eventually heard back from him in last February saying our video was complete and that he would send it over the following week as soon as he returned from Yosemite. I couldn't contain my excitement! I let our families know that it would be here shortly as they were as excited as we were to see the final product. This is where everything turned negative and heart breaking. It has now been two full months since that email and still no video. My husband and I have both sent multiple emails to Resistance Media's personal email, Mike's professional and personal instagram, we have reached out to the videographer who shot our Wedding day and he did respond shocked that we have not heard back from Mike; we have called their business numerous times for the past few weeks every other day with no answer and their mailbox being full. At this point my husband and I are both completely heart broken as we trusted this company with capturing our very special day and had our hopes up that our video would be here two months ago as we were told it was complete. The pure unprofessional demeanor and posting new items on Instagram each week but not responding to a single email, direct message or phone call is beyond me as I do not believe this is how you effectively run a business. I truly hope there is a light at the end of this tunnel but hope any future couples do not have to deal with this. read more

Amazing prices, great personalities! Mike and his assistant photographed my daughter's birthday party for such a reasonable price, and by the end of the party they were more like guests at the party than hired photographers. I was too worried about my guests and making sure my daughter was having fun to not have to worry about taking pictures and be able to live in the moment of the party, was a great stress relief. Taking photos of a rambunctious one year old is not an easy task, but he did it somehow, he was laying in the grass to get angles, we used props, it was so much fun.
