How is it that we have now been told two separate times, beginning in February and again in May that our video is ready and will be sent to us. Please correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe it is that difficult to send those clips/video over to us. It doesn't seem like your phone is being answered or calls being returned, along with direct messages on Instagram, Facebook messages, email messages from my personal email address alongside my business email. I can't thank them enough on what an INCREDIBLE job they did on both our engagement pictures and wedding. Cathy and Amy are so sweet and fun to work with and felt comfortable with them from the start. We received our wedding photos exactly 2 weeks after our wedding. Talk about quick! Most places take at least a month from what I have heard. Not only are they prompt but extremely professional and their work is perfect! I am so glad we made the switch to EM! Quality of photos were also great and we can't wait to have some canvas made! Dan also did our video and I will review once we receive but I know it will be just as perfect!! Our first shoot was a 1950s-inspired 4-year anniversary session during Almond Blossom season, followed by a solo shoot with the same vintage theme (also set among the blossoms). Most recently, we had our 1st wedding anniversary session in Downtown Modesto -- a bit more casual, but just as special! Sandy always makes us feel completely at ease in front of the camera -- which is saying a lot since my husband hates being photographed! She keeps every session light, fun, and natural, and she has such a great eye for capturing genuine, in-the-moment smiles. She's also amazing at recreating inspo photos you share ahead of time, so if you have a vision, she'll absolutely help bring it to life. They provide excellent service and gorgeous photos for incredibly reasonable prices. My husband and I first asked them to do a nice couples portrait for us on the UC Berkeley campus. We had never done any sort of portraits before (y'know, beyond those stiff, cheesy school photos back in the day), so we were a little nervous to start. Justin and his wife/assistant Dana immediately put us at ease with their friendly, professional manner. After a few shots my husband and I relaxed, and we got some wonderful photos to share as Xmas gifts (and yes, we even did some cheesy poses for fun). We came back to them a few years later for newborn photos for our first child. We arranged for them to visit us in the hospital, and I treasure those pictures above all others taken in that period. I had a difficult and unpleasant experience in the hospital (but that's for another Yelp review), but when I look at Justin's beautiful photos all I remember were the good moments, and how much Justin and Dana's calm, friendly visit cheered me up. They came to our home a few weeks later for part two of our newborn portrait package. Again, their bright manner made the afternoon special and fun. They did some lovely "candid" shots of us feeding our baby, then some more posed shots of the baby with some fun props they'd brought. As parents themselves, they know how to calmly and easily deal with a little newborn, and our little guy was as relaxed as a month-old could be. The pictures turned out AMAZING. Well, that baby is a year-and-a-half, and it's time for some family portraits. I know exactly who we're turning to!

They went out of there way to make our save the date video!! We chose Shark Fin Cove; 1 it was not so easy to get down there (slippery slope) and 2 the water was freezing. We all pulled it together and had so much fun! We recommend him for anything you are trying to shoot; we had drone shots, running/dancing shots and to top it off a photograph session at Davenport landing beach. He has so much talent and comes so prepared with everything you don't even think about. He studied the video that I sent him to such depth. Not only that but he also had pictures of couple's engagement posses so that we could recreate it!! Such a wonderful, extreme, epic experience my fiancé and I will never forget.
