They said they would be able to fix everything up no problem. After about a week they gave us a call letting us know it was going to take a bit longer. No problem, we know everyone is short staffed. After three weeks in the shop we expected our truck to be fully fixed and ready for us to continue using it as our daily driver. Upon pick up, the only thing that was fixed was a few cosmetic things... the steering wheel was completely out of place, the plastic pieces they took off on the inside where torn off and not put back on properly, plus the car was veering off the road . We let the shop know that the car was not driving at all like it did before the accident. They proceeded to say we were lying. We got a second mechanics opinion and they stated if the car was driving like it is now before the accident, it would show on the tires, which it does not. So we concluded that this would need to be fixed. We let auto body USA know this and they claimed we were still lying and that the truck must not be our daily driver. We tried getting the damages to our car covered under insurance as this was a cause of our accident. Auto body USA proceeded to tell the insurance company that the truck was like this before and we supposedly told them this. Even though they have never even seen our truck prior to the accident. Customer service was terrible, there was no transparency in anything that was done, no quote was given, and extremely unprofessional. We were hung up on when trying to talk this out with a representative and it was like pulling teeth trying to hear back from anyone on the team. Here we are in December, still with a broken truck. Trying to save people from the same trouble we went through!

I've known the owner, Bob Cannon, for over 43 years now (as of 2021). We were kids when we first…read moremet. I was nine years old back then and he was eight years old I think (that was way back in 1978). We were neighbors for over 15 years. I don't let anyone else work on my car except Lowder's because I know and trust the owner, Bob, and I know that he will ALWAYS do right by me. He hasn't ever tried to pull a fast one on me (or any of my family or friends) like other mechanics do; he does what's actually needed or what I've asked to be done (IF it's legal of course but NOT if it's something illegal like putting a muffler on a vehicle that doesn't have a catalytic converter on it (or other stuff like that), because that's quite illegal!). He does the right thing, he always has that I know of and I've never heard anyone taking bad about him, EVER --- not even in high school. He's just and simply a great and honest man; and you can trust him. Oh! He WON'T give you some triple the price estimate and try to rip you off either, he's not like that at all. I refer people to go to him at Lowder's Automotive every single time someone is talking about having vehicle problems or the need of a good honest mechanic. He runs the office and front counter now and doesn't get under the cars anymore because he has some great people working for him there. He WON'T put up with a dishonest mechanic working in his shop either. I fully know that he would give them the boot too if they ever tried something like that! They work on lots of types of vehicles there and they're certified & licensed. And you can see the legal certifications and licenses posted there if you'd like to. He is an awesome person to know too. Talk with him awhile if you're wanting to know more about him and his business, I'm sure that he will fill you in on anything that you will need to know. He's been working on cars since we were kids. Oh, and BTW, he is still about Mopar too. Js. I'm a Chevy man myself but I don't hold the fact that he's into Mopar against him. LoL! So if you're into Dodge vehicles, especially big trucks, just bring that up and you're sure to have a nice conversation with him. So we decided to call a few places on our own and luckily called Bud's. They were very friendly on the phone. Gave us a quote that was HALF the price of the other company. Said they would be there in 45 minutes and they were legit there in 45 minutes. Car was loaded up and was told they needed to go to another gas station to fuel up, so we left out before them and they still beat us to our house.
