Great tile work on the bathroom floor and in the tub surround…read more HOWEVER... The installer scratched the tub AND incorrectly reinstalled the toilet. When I called Floro about my scratched tub, he hung up on me. A few months after the tile installation, we knew something was wrong when we saw water leaks on the ceiling of the room below the recently tiled bathroom. The plumber we hired said the height of the tile prevented the toilet from being installed correctly: the stack needed to be extended. Essentially, the water was leaking into the subfloor. When I called Floro about the toilet being installed incorrectly and that I had to hire a plumber to fix the problem, he said "what can I say" and hung up again on me. I suggest you think twice before working with this group.

Hired them for a fairly large job in 2019, refinished kitchen and den area existing hardwood floor,…read moreand installed new hardwood on the rest 1st floor and entire 2nd floor, plus stairs. The boss did the quoting, visit and evaluation in the beginning, then left one guy finishing the job without showing up until payment time. Problems and response from the boss: 1) There was a large stain mark left in the dinner room because a fridge was not moved out. But the mark would stay was not communicated before hand. Being a homeowner, how would you know? The guy did the job on site say "it won't be a problem." Response: When showing him this issue at the final inspection, the boss said he could not fix it without refinish the entire room, of course I have to pay again, which I agreed later on. But he just stopped responding my calls and texts. 2) the areas bridging from room to another room were not even, both from hardwood to hardwood, and hardwood to tiles. Response: those could not be fixed because the pieces of wood bridging different areas were clued down. Later on I learned that, it could be done, but just was going to labor intense. But why they didn't make those piece even to begin with? 3) stain splashes on walls and base board Response: the boss said, in the quotation, I already told you we are not responsible for those issues. Conclusion: I've not listed all issues, but just the major ones. I will NOT recommend such an irresponsible company, especially for them not responding to fix the issue even I agreed to pay more.

Joe and his guys absolutely ROCK! We were in the market to have our old and cracked tub replaced…read more We started off by contacting some of the places that are quick to pop up when you start googling search terms like "tub replacement". Quotes were so far out in left field that we thought we were just going to have to deal with the garbage, cracked tub we had or enlist some friends and hopefully pool together enough know-how to do it ourselves. Then, one night while in Menards, we just happened to see Joe's business as one of the recommended installers over by the plumbing/tub area. Boy, are we happy we did! For starters, Joe treats you like family. He listens to you, pays attention to what you can and can't afford and talks to you like a regular person. He communicates with you every step of the way and lets you know if something is changing. In the end, we basically wound up with a whole bathroom remodel for about the same (if not less) than what the other companies were quoting for JUST a tub replacement. Joe only uses the best of the best when he brings people in to your home to perform services. The flexibility and respect won't be soon forgotten. So many contractors out there talk to people as if they're just complete idiots. Joe educates, suggests and works to make you comfortable and confident in what you're doing. I kid you not, I felt like I was dealing with a family member throughout the entirety of the project. And let's not forget speed! Joe knew that we have a small 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house and that we couldn't be without a working bathroom for days on end. He made sure that the amount of time without vital bathroom elements was kept to an absolute minimum. There's a reason why people like Joe have success in business for several decades like he has -- because they take pride in their work and base everything they do on honesty and integrity. For as long as he's in business, he'll be the first call we make when a project at our home crops up.
