He offered great design and layout suggestions we honestly wouldn't have thought of on our own, from flooring choices to lighting to small details that made a big difference. He also helped design the space so it functions like three different rooms while still feeling like one connected, open area, which completely changed how we use it. His team was on time, professional, and incredibly respectful. They put down protective matting as they went in and out of the basement, swept the floors daily, cleaned up debris as they worked, and treated our home with real care. They even took their shoes off before coming inside. It genuinely felt like they were remodeling their own home, not just doing a job. The crew truly felt like family, and the before-and-after transformation of our basement is incredible. There were also a lot of thoughtful touches that really stood out. On days when we weren't home, Chris and his team would bring our garbage cans up near the house on collection day, which was completely unexpected and very appreciated. One highlight that still amazes me: Chris and his team stained the basement stairs to perfectly match our first-floor stairs. I honestly didn't think it could be done, but they took their time and absolutely nailed it. The drywall and framing work were done beautifully, and what really stood out was that Chris came back later to check on everything and make small touch-ups, just to be sure the work held up. That level of pride and follow-through is rare. They painted the ceiling black and were meticulous--no missed spots, no shortcuts. Everything was done with care. We agreed on a timeline, and they started when they said they would, finished on time, and left the space spotless when the job was done. To make things even easier, we simply picked out samples from Home Depot, and Chris and his team handled all the materials. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. All we had to do was make one call, do a little planning, and enjoy our new basement one to two weeks later. And honestly, our basement is now one of our favorite parts of the house. The scope of the project grew as we realized that we needed more things done in the house before we could move in, which included: installing several interior and exterior doors, removing and reinstalling a built-in set of drawers, installing and fixing flooring, removing a built-in wet bar in the basement, doing some work in a bathroom so we could put in a new vanity and bathtub, removing a wall between two rooms so one could be turned into a walk-in closet, making a small alcove into a closet, stripping down a door to be refinished, making shelf supports for our long pantry shelves so they don't bow from the weight, and helping fix a basement leak that was due to the prior owner not properly fastening his deck to the foundation. I am sure there some things I am forgetting, but the bottom line is that Patrick and Chris were always up to doing what we needed done. They were on time, professional, friendly and easy to work with. Patrick was great about providing quotes for all of the work, and had very reasonable prices. In addition, when I needed a contractor for something that he couldn't do, he knew someone in the area he could recommend, and those recommendations (of which there were several for: roofing, plumbing and tile work) worked out great. M&M painting did two jobs for me - painted the garage and painted the basement ceiling (black…read moredryfall). Generally the work was good but there were a few issues: 1. Both jobs needed some touch ups as shown in the pictures. He told me to reach out to him to schedule. On the first schedule attempt, he cancelled at the last moment. On my follow up for a new time, he ignored my texts. 2. My basement lightbulbs were painted. Rather than remove them to paint in the area, they just painted my lightbulbs black. LEDs are expensive. 3. In order to clean their supplies, they used the kitchen sink, which was fine. What wasn't ok was them using the scrubbing pads I use for my dishes to wash their painting gear. I had to throw those out. 4. While I was ok to map the floor after they left to get up the black residue, I wasn't ok with one of them wandering around the first floor to observe other work being done outside. This caused me to have to clean a much larger area than necessary to get the black residue off the floor. What goes on in the rest of my space is none of their concern. You do the job. I pay you. You leave. Simple. I paid them fully in good faith that they'd come back and fix the errors. I can accept that things may not be 100%. What I can't accept is getting ignored when they've been paid but I have work that needs to be addressed. Many neighbors asked me about them as they'd see their truck outside and come over to see the work getting done. This is a new subdivision where there is a lot of opportunity. However, I've advised those neighbors to find another provider.

This review is about a total makeover of my very small upstairs bathroom. Since I told Huck at the outset that I wanted to save money where ever I could, he made recommendations and gave me options where ever he could. He sent numerous emails about products and materials which helped me finalize my plans. save money=sm. I agreed to remove the paneling=sm. He recommended wainscoting from floor half way up and new drywall the rest. Topnotch Results! I removed 90% of the tile=sm. He recommended waterproof laminate flooring. Very Happy! I installed new vanity, new faucet, 2 new lever door handles, and brushed polished all door hinges=sm. My next door neighbor had some drywall repair done and recommended Huck. Drywall is his specialty. He can show you many examples of his specialty as well as his painting and installation skills(new toilet and new medicine cabinet).
