The tires were literally rubbing against the wheel wells when they were done. I told them about it and he banged on the old lift kit with a hammer, damaging it. Then he told me to buy new parts and bring it to him. Seriously told me to rebuy the part that he just broke with a hammer! Didn't do an alignment after all that. Service was bad and car had more problems than when i brought it in.

And since all of our MB's are approaching the 300,000 mile marker (those cars will run forever if you take good care of them!) they do require a bit of maintenance. Good thing we found Craig - his prices are reasonable, so repairs for our mini fleet of MB's doesn't break the bank. He's also honest - he doesn't try to push for unnecessary repairs, and he will show/explain the repairs that do need to be performed so that you understand what's going on and don't have to question the legitimacy of those repairs. Craig knows that my husband likes to inspect and tinker with the old broken parts, and Craig will save those for you if you ask him to. He will also gladly use parts that you source yourself, which saves a bundle since there's no mark up on the parts you supply yourself. How many auto repair shops will allow you to do that? He's also an MB genius - he knows every quirk and can sniff out even the most elusive issues when it comes to your car. My husband jokingly refers to him as the "MB Rain Man." :) MB's are their specialty, but they can perform repairs on other cars as well. I had a Ford Explorer a few years ago, and another car repair shop had botched some of the repairs. Craig not only fixed the botched work, but he wrote a letter to the other repair shop explaining what they'd found, why the repairs they'd performed were incorrect, and boxed up the destroyed parts so that we could recover our costs from the original repairs. Craig and his wife, Judy, are great people - they are always good for a chat and a smile, and their two golden retrievers are always there to greet you when you walk in the shop. Before I found Richard I took two vehicles to dealerships to be repaired and wasn't satisfied with either of them. I took my one truck to Richard and after being in an accident and the workmanship was showroom quality, I also had him redo the repairs from the dealership which turned out fantastic. My latest vehicle I bought used and after a few years noticed the paint was deteriorating. Apparently whoever painted it used inferior paint that didn't last and made it difficult to paint over it, after working through the issues of the paint Richard was able to spray a seal coat and then lay down the final finish. It looks amazing almost like a new vehicle. I recommend anyone who needs their vehicle repaired to take to Richard, you won't be disappointed and he stands behind his work, a rarity in the world today.
