Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value…read more Joe came out to provide me a estimate for a panel upgrade and add a extra 220 outlet for brewing equipment and was very professional. Waiting for SCE to approve the upgrade was a nightmare, but then again it was due to covid-19. The install took place a few days ago, crew showed up, did the work, cleaned up, explained the process, let us know when the power was going to be turned off, and was very professional and respectful. will definitely recommend to anyone!

They found some wire underground that they decided to tap into for the job and proceeded to run conduit along my wood fence (it was supposed to be along the house and NOT from underground) which was not what we had discussed as the plan for that job. I voiced my concern about how it was done and they came back out and did the job as it was originally planned to do. The whole time the job was being worked on, my windows were open and I could hear the apprentice complaining about having to dig and how the dirt was hard (I get manual labor isn't for everyone, be professional at least) but they "corrected" the work and that was the last I called on them. Fast forward a few years and we have more work being done in our yard only to discover the wire they ran underground to one of the outlets not only was bare once it was in soil (I was under the impression it was run with conduit underground), but also only buried about 4-5" deep in most places. Although Joe has always been nice when he has been here doing work, his staff comes off lazy and incompetent and the work they completed was a HUGE safety hazard we were unaware of. I don't think I'd ever hire these guys again.

Lights dimming, flashing and shutting off. Power intermittent throughout the entire House but no breakers ever tripped. It kept getting worse until We Finally called gor Help. We tried 3 different Electrical Companies including the one the Insurance suggested and got either no call back or a No because We live in a small Town in the Mountains. I happened upon Dave and He answered his Phone (imagine that). He came right over and was very Friendly and very Courteous. He looked at it right then and suggested replacing a number of very old breakers which smelled burnt. He went directly to Home Depot and did the work. He also suggested calling Edison right away because He believed the cause was on the Edison side of the Panel that He cant touch. We called Edison first thing Monday morning. The first thing they wanted to know was if we had replaced the breakers first or they wouldn't have come out until we did. We were so Happy that Dave did that the first hour after we called him. Edison also came over very quickly the same day (within an Hour) and immediately found a dangerous (Fire Hazard) 45 year old connection in our Panel where it connects from the Pole (see pics). Dave agreed to talk to the Edison guy on the Phone (Who by the way knew Dave and said He was one of the last good guys willing to do work in Town). Those two worked Together to get us restored with a new panel, new extended lines from the Edison side. Dave also Talked directly to our Insurance Company while they made out all the paperwork and approved the FULL REIMBURSEMENT over the Phone. They are also scheduling the Inspection which they both need to attend since this was done on an Emergency approval basis. This could've been a complete nightmare if it wasn't for these two Stand Up Guys. Especially nowadays I was so Surprised and lucky to find such good People in our little Town. Thank You Matt from Edison and Dave from AC/DC Electrick (and the Insurance agent) for the Best Experience Possible in a scary and bad situation.

Strong work ethic and they show up on time when they say they will. I was shocked how quickly their crew works, they finished what seemed to me like a pretty big job in only one day. What a pleasant surprise, because it's usually the other way around. And special bonus, they were very mindful about cutting my drywall carefully so I could re-use the cut-out sections. It saved me time and money when my handyman came to patch the walls. After Positively Electric finished the big jobs and my place, kitchen installers showed up at my place a few days later to install new cabinets. Turns out I needed to move an outlet a few inches for the cabinets to work. I called Tony, the owner of Positively Electric, asking him in desperation if they could come out within the hour. Yes! I was so relieved. Their speedy response allowed my move ahead with the kitchen install, instead of a costly rescheduling. I really appreciate the Pos Elec team, nice guys too. I highly recommend this company. I love finding honest reliable service providers so took the time to write this review. Maybe it'll help other property owners too.

I got on Angi's to find and electrician in my area and they wanted me to get a membership for $275 before recommending anyone. Forget that! I tried several more times on Friday night to get multiple companies to call me back but no one returned my call. I Googled electricians again Saturday morning at 1100 am for my area and found Schematic Electric in Tehachapi CA. Nelson answered and told me that he could probably get someone out to me by 1pm. Being a weekend he mentioned it would be a slightly higher service call. I opted for the fastest response I could get and Nelson was in my driveway by 1245pm. He is a very pleasant guy with a big friendly smile. My German Shepherd even liked him. Within 5 minutes inside my home Nelson knew what our problem was and within a total of 20 minutes he had everything up and running again. He saved the day because we were having family arrive from back east and didn't want to have to explain that they might have to use a flashlight in their room, but this was all avoided in time. Even though our issue was relatively simple I wanted to mention something to other companies that can't bother to return a phone call or come out for a simple problem. I have a generator that I've been wanting and electrician to install an outlet for during emergency power outages and because we feel like we found such a reliable company I am having Nelson back out for that job in the near future. When you are a top notch company and treat customers with value, it earns you more business and loyalty. Thanks Schematic Electric and please give Nelson our thanks as well. He is a real asset to you company.
