I've visited Crave a few times this week and have overall enjoyed the experience, but I wanted to…read moreshare a small concern. During my recent visits, I noticed some inconsistencies in portion sizes. At first, I thought it might just be a one time thing, but today I had a chance to observe a few orders being prepared while waiting for my husband's smoothie. It seemed like some bowls were filled above the measuring line, while mine was slightly under. I completely understand that things can vary during busy times, but I just wanted to mention it as feedback. Consistency in portions would really help ensure all customers feel they're getting the same value. I'm sharing this with the intention of being helpful, as I do enjoy coming here and hope to continue supporting your business.

I enjoyed the vibe right away. It felt welcoming, and I could hear people around me enjoying their meals, which is always a good sign. I only ordered coffee (there's just one size option), and it was good and hot -- although my lid was cracked. They do offer either a to-go cup or a mug if you're staying, which I liked. I do wish there were a few more small Danish or pastry options to grab with a coffee. Sometimes you just want a simple little something on the side. The only thing I was curious about was the music. Worship songs were playing the entire time. I wasn't sure if the owners are religious or if the staff just didn't realize what station was on. It's definitely a bold choice and might not resonate with everyone, depending on their beliefs. That said, it didn't ruin my visit -- just something I noticed. Overall, I'd return and would be happy to stop by again for another review soon. **After posting and reading other reviews... maybe I came (in the morning) at a bad time and there weren't pastries available?

Such a unique and large space with seating on both sides (1 side is a coffee bar and the other is the kitchen). Their menu is so unique and they also have a "test kitchen" menu where they'll have creations from the kitchen that they make and if they're popular enough they make the big menu. Such a great concept. Their menu has so many delicious sounding items but I decided since it was my first time to try "staples" which was a sandwich and soup combo. The cheddar broccoli soup was spectacular! The flavor and heartiness won me over. I tried the pear and gouda panini as my 1/2 sandwich which was also quite tasty. Oh and my iced raspberry cheesecake cappuccino was my favorite! Soooooo dreamy. And the customer service was great too. The cashier was super patient with me as I took forever to review the menu and decide on what I wanted. I will definitely be back even though it isn't close to my home which says something. So happy I discovered this place.

The panini was nice and crisp on the outside and the turkey with melted Brie was really good. However, I never heard the end of it from my family. One asks me why the floor is so sticky, another complains the ventilation is not good and our clothes will smell like food...Chicken tastes dry....don't like creamy soup....don't like balsamic sauce, blah blah blah. Well, my turkey and Brie was delicious.

I…read morewas fortunate enough to arrive just before closing at 4 while they were in the shut down process. I quietly asked the woman cleaning tables if they were still serving anything at that late hour. She was Ray's wife and she smiled at the question, and asked what I wanted. "An Italian Hot Dog, if possible?" She turned to check with their cook, who was willing and able. Five minutes later he delivered a red plastic basket with a split torpedo roll loaded with a fat frankfurter, slices of fried potato, dark brown mustard and covered over with a blanket of sautéed green pepper. First bite told the tale. The bread was still crusty with soft inside; the dog was full of beefy garlic flavor; the potatoes were hot and fully cooked, and the green pepper was layered over everything to hold in the heat and moisture. Each chomp revealed all the texture and taste cues that these local Jersey specialties are famous for. The brown mustard provided the final spicy kick in the butt. While I ate, the big man, Ray, came over to chat. Turned out that we knew some of the same people from the Chambersburg neighborhood. In fact my stepson lived on the same street and Ray knew the previous owner of the home, my step's uncle, Alex. It was a pleasant conversation and it was great to recollect with him. This was a great experience from beginning to end; inquiry to successful meal; introduction to surprising connections. Yes, and the Italian Hot Dog a strong representation of the genre. Although it is Italian comfort food themed, I had a hankering for turkey. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and ordered one of their rotating specials, you can get the dish as a sandwich or a platter. It came with real cranberry sauce and real gravy, packaged separately. The green beans were simply but not overcooked, still had a slight crunch. The stuffing was lightly seasoned and dense with a lot of carrot, I liked it. The Turkey was a copious portion of mild and not dried out breast. This was a comforting meal that I wished was a bit bigger. I also tried a small container the pasta fagioli and liked that a lot too. Service was quick and friendly and I could see presumably Ray cooking at the flat top. I'll try other things when I visit the market again.
