The guys are always pleasant and helpful. They have a waiting room with a television set that plays shows that remind me of home. They have a pop machine if you're thirsty, and the prices for those sodas are quite reasonable. Also, I always appreciate the mechanic shops whose waiting rooms have a coffee table full of a variety of magazines, as they do at Greased Lightening. We appreciate these guys a great deal. The truck is fairly old so, among several other things, they quoted new shocks and strut assemblies. After getting the truck back and driving a few days back and forth to work I noticed that it always had a pronounced lean where the passenger side of the vehicle was riding several inches higher than the driver's side. After calling to confirm, Phil stated that they had done an alignment and had even verified the ride height/level. The truck was definitely leaning though so something was not right, I took it to the Toyota dealership and they showed me the issue. Fort Worth Auto Garage had installed the wrong shock and strut assemblies on one side of the vehicle. I don't believe Fort Worth Auto Garage actually did an alignment or a ride height check, because it surely would have been noticed that the incorrect parts had been installed on one side of the truck. That being said, once I confronted Phil with this information he did agree to install the correct parts so eventually it was fixed. Fort Worth Auto Garage do have reasonable prices, however they seem to be a bit sloppy with their work and they do not seem to pay close attention to details, such as part numbers.

Fast forward 8 months and my vehicle started making noise and my thought was "well I guess it is finally going out". NO...took to another shop and was informed that the mount was gone and was the reason for the original complaint that I took here for. Mechanic also let me know that the drain and fill was never done because there were no tools marks showing that the transmission plate had been taken off. So not only did they lie about me needing a new transmission but they didn't perform the work I paid for. AND possibly knew it was only a mount. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

I arrived at 840am, was out of there at 925am. All done, everything welded, sounds wonderful. Only $280 (it was gonna be about $190 for me to do it but it would take me half the day). These guys know what they are doing, they do not try to take advantage of you and they are pretty fast because they are a REAL exhaust system shop. (I should mention, the owner is a fine man, raising two young boys - he's teaching the boys to weld and do all the garage work. It was a pleasure to pay this guy to fix my problems.)
