Out of the way for me but a great place. They usually have a decent draft selection for crowlers, although getting someone to wait on you can be frustrating as nobody mans the station. Today I waited more than 15 minutes with no luck and had to walk over to cashier to have her request someone come over. They have a HUGE beer selection, including some craft beer. Their prices are the best in the area, hands down. Always the cheapest I've found. They also have a huge snack selection too if you want or need that. JR's Beer Warehouse - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Rochester, Pennsylvania

I visit JR's virtually every visit to PA. They've got all the big name beers, but also have a decent selection of micro and import beers in their enormous cooler. I wish you could buy single bottles or 22oz bottles, but evidently there's a law against that. I've just discovered they have a good wine and beer making section. I was honestly surprised by the amount of grains available and variety of hops. Quite impressive. If I lived here I would be here picking up my own supplies from JR's. There's a huge smoke shop in one corner, I don't smoke myself, but noticed they have e-cigs here. JR's has a good selection of snacks too; I always grab a bag of Herr's vinegar chips when here and a lot of times get some pepperoni sticks. Great store and good service. read more

I've used JR's for years but not any more, just not a customer focused group. The fact that you have to tour the entire store just to return a keg, not to mention 2 out of the last 4 times I've been there they were out of 1/4 kegs of Coors Light but you wouldn't know that until you walk all the way around the store. I'd rather use Beaver Co beverage, at least they appreciate my business. read more

When I called to ask about, the initial girl was annoyed and assumed what I wanted. I asked for one of the managers.........on hold.... yet when I spoke to her, she was even more underwhelmingly helpful and s did not believe me.. even as I have been a bi weekly customer for years. She claimed I was getting upset ,but I was just trying to explain . I will never be back. I love love love this place and have never ever had a complaint until today. I was there today withy 4 year old great nephew who is doing excellent with going to the restroom like a big boy. While in the check outline I hear "aunt Cathy I have to pee". The checkout girls direct me to the restroom. When we got back there, there is a sign OUT OF ORDER. We proceed to the girl in the tobacco area and ask her and she says sorry it is it of order. I explain that it is not for me it is for my nephew who is holding my hand and his other little hand is holding his little crotch and he is bouncing up.and down. I ask what she and the other employees do and she responded with a blank stare and replied what do you mean. I said when you and the other employees have to use the restroom what do you do? She replied well there's an employee bathroom we can use. I again asked is there anyway that we can use the bathroom I'm not asking for myself I'm asking for my little nephew right here. Again her response was no it's for employees only and she said it with a little attitude. I then proceeded to ask if she could call the manager. Once the manager called and she rudely explain to the manager the situation she hung up the phone I gave a heavy sigh and directed us to the employee bathroom. Again I have never ever had a complaint for Jr's it's a great store the employees are very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. But today I have to say I was very disappointed with the girl behind the tobacco counter. She did not seem very sympathetic and our plight and if it was up to her we would have not been able to use the restroom and my poor little nephew would have probably peed himself and on the floor in the store. I know this is not the fault of Jr's I've been going there too long to believe that this is the policy and they would not have made an exception. In fact they did make an exception but only after she called the manager. Luckily my little nephew was able to hold it that long and we did not have an accident and all ended up ok. However I do have to say I wish they would do a little more sensitivity training with these young people that they hire. this is the only reason I gave them a free other than that they are five stars across the board read more
