Awesome lunch spot. Incredible flavors and exceptional service…read more Got the 3 way combo wrap , hummus and fries. Wrap- I could eat that every day. Huge portions with all the right flavors. I didnt make any substitutions and I'm glad I didn't. Hummus- so good- recommendation is to get double the bread. We had so much left over and nothing to dip it with. Fries- were good but we took them to a nearby park and they didn't hold up. That's on us- but the flavor was good. This will definitely be a stop next time I'm in town.

I got the chicken plate and gyro plate, which came with 3 sauces. The guy at the counter put the plates together right in front of the glass counter, so i could see everything going in. He asked me with each item if I wanted it -- lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, pepperoncini, olives, etc. I asked about the parsley greens and he mentioned they have gluten in them, so he clearly knew his ingredients and was steering me well. But it also caught me off guard -- most restaurants have no idea about gluten and I'm used to having to check everything myself, so there was a mismatch between his obvious knowledge and how rushed I felt trying to keep up and make decisions. Kind of annoyed me, even though I appreciated that he knew what he was talking about. Otherwise people were nice. We took food to go so didn't experience the ambiance but it seemed nice inside.

But there was one spot nearby I hadn't been to since November and it was high time I went back. That place is Zesty bites. They're located on that last stretch of Smith St before you cross over in North Providence. I always manage to find street parking in the front but there's more around the corner as well. Imad was in there cranking out a HUGE catering order! There were covered pans everywhere, ready and waiting for the client to come and pick up. But that didn't stop Imad from taking a moment to shake my hand and ask how I was doing lately. I didn't want to take up much of his time as his Friday night was just kicking off but he is genuinely a warm and friendly person, you can't help but smile when he smiles. I took home a Pesty Chicken, house pesto with turkey bacon, onions and chicken, plus a hefty slice of his gorgeous baklava. After my 5 minute drive home I got to it immediately. The pesto is herbaceous, salty from the Parmesan. The turkey bacon is not what you find Butterball making but rather, this was of a much higher quality and was an actual piece of sliced meat instead of a formed amalgamation of ground turkey. All of those ingredients sang while being supported by the incredible crust. I don't quite know how to describe it. It's light, fluffy, but crispy. Crunching into the crust scratched a part of my brain I didn't know needed it until I bit into this little slice of heaven! The baklava looked as good as it tasted. Sweet, spiced, and it had this deep flavor I can't quite put my finger on but it's probably top 3 best I've ever had. If you haven't visited Imad and his shop up over on Smith Hill, then you are missing out on a unique and delicious experience. 10/10, great pizza. Great food all around, no matter what you get you'll love it!

It had such a vibrant and complex balance of savory, tangy, and herbal flavors that made every bite interesting. The gyro + falafel wrap was another standout which was absolutely loaded with gyro, falafel, fresh veggies, and their special hot sauce. It was filling, flavorful, and everything worked incredibly well together. The hummus was also excellent, with a rich, nutty and savory flavor and a super smooth, creamy texture. And don't overlook the chips! They're definitely not your typical restaurant tortilla chips. Just looking at them, I expected them to be thick and really crunchy, but they were surprisingly light, crispy, and honestly kind of addictive. They paired perfectly with the hummus. What really makes Levi's Pockets special, though, is the care that goes into the place. Ruba, the owner, is an incredibly sweet and welcoming person who genuinely takes care of her customers. You can tell how much work she puts into the restaurant and how much she cares about the food she serves. I'd especially recommend coming in and eating here in person if you get the chance. Delivery is obviously convenient, but the food, hospitality, and overall experience of actually visiting Levi's Pockets are absolutely worth it. I came in at around 2:00PM, so it was a bit quieter around there, but I heard that this place gets packed when it's lunch time. I'll definitely be back!

The menu had a lot of selections which were wraps. My wife got the chicken wrap, I selected the gyros wrap. The chicken wrap (a special) had 4 pieces of avocado with chicken, and a lot of lettuce. My gyro wrap was coated with tzatziki sauce inside the wrap, with a lot of lettuce and gyro meat not off a skewer (yes, there is a difference). I also bought a chocolate chip cookie, which was massive. Still, it was tasty. The soft drinks were a bit expensive at $7 for a 20 ounce Dr. Pepper - you can get two for one at most gas stations and come out with more change. The staff was nice. Service was fast. In terms of ambiance, it was a typical fast food place with tables and seating.

Luckily, they do have a large space with lots of tables and some couches so finding a seat wasn't a problem. Their menu includes drinks and food (breakfast and lunch). My friend and I shared the BOM sandwich which comes on a Portuguese BOLO with gruyere cheese, roasted red peppers, onion, spinach, BOM sauce, chorizo, and fried egg. For our drinks I had a cinnamon crunch iced coffee with whole milk and coconut cold foam and my friend had one of the coff-tails. I took in all the artwork around the walls while I waited for our order to come out. They brought the sandwich out to us, but I went up to the counter to get the drinks. The sandwich was incredibly good, especially the BOM sauce that was a little spicy. The sausage was thick and well cooked, and the veggies tasted fresh. The bread was very good too but I wish it was slightly toasted (next time). My drink was good. It was not sweet at all, which the cashier did prepare me for, but it still tasted good to me. The milk and coconut cold foam made it very creamy and the coconut flavor was very present throughout. We paid around $20 for the sandwich and two drinks which is fair. They have a drive thru window on the left side of the building, with the line wrapping around the back of the building, with plenty of parking in the front and back for dining in.
