Two hours later, I discovered the driver's car had broken down, but no one from the company reached out to inform me. By that time, all other local taxi services were closed, and Uber was unavailable in the area. I'm very disappointed with the lack of communication and overall customer service. It's also extremely frustrating that most taxi companies in this area close by 6 PM. The transportation options here are truly lacking. I forgot to mention i contacted them at 5pm, and watched them leave the location at approximately 7ish? Never got a confirmation canceling my appointment.

We were told it would take the driver 20 minutes to get to us. The day we needed to be picked up for the first leg of the trip. No one shows up at the agreed upon time. 10 minutes later I call. I'm told the driver will be there soon. No driver shows up for at least 40 MORE MINUTES. I do not know when or if the driver ever showed up because after 50 minutes of waiting we had to drive ourselves to avoid being late. The problem is I had already paid in advance for a service that went undelivered. This means he originally knew the driver would not be there in "10 minutes" and instead of panicked waiting we could have just found another solution. No apology. No offer to make things right. They did not come close to delivering on the service. There are not a ton of options in town but there are definitely better options than this. I basically donated $100 to this guy only for him to cause a major inconvenience.

VERY unprofessional…read more I have taken Elite Taxi for over a year now. I spent well over 120 a month to go where I need to go. I have never had a problem with any of the drivers at all. I made a time call for 1pm. They said it might be a little after,which is fine...but when my husband called,she claimed to have called us. We had no missed calls on our phone,and instead of telling us she would send one to us ASAP....she hung up on my husband. I called back to get the owners number to make a complaint. She asked if it was us again,I said yes,and there was no need to hang up on my husband like that. She proceeded to tell us that we 'really need to get a life' and hung up again. I'm not impressed.

I looked up local taxi services on yelp and found ABC. He answered the call right away and was willing to come to Belfast to take me to Bangor. Cheaper than what the Lyft and Uber apps were telling me too.

About 15 hours before pickup, a friend offered to drive me to the airport so I texted Johnny to inquire if it was too late to cancel, fully expecting and accepting that it was probably too late and that I would gladly take his cab ride anyway, as his small business must be supported. Instead, Johnny decided to lash out with sarcasm, costing him my business as well as the future business of the Maine-based organization I am here to work with, once they saw these screenshots.
