VERY unprofessional. I have taken Elite Taxi for over a year now. I spent well over 120 a month to go where I need to go. I have never had a problem with any of the drivers at all. I made a time call for 1pm. They said it might be a little after,which is fine...but when my husband called,she claimed to have called us. We had no missed calls on our phone,and instead of telling us she would send one to us ASAP....she hung up on my husband. I called back to get the owners number to make a complaint. She asked if it was us again,I said yes,and there was no need to hang up on my husband like that. She proceeded to tell us that we 'really need to get a life' and hung up again. SO here is my Rant..Rgarding the cab company's out of Waterville Maine.. Pine Tree cab company, is committing HIGHWAY ROBBERY to the community that uses them for services. I called 3 local companies, got a price check from Casey's on College Avenue in Waterville to Walgreens in Waterville (across from the Fire Station) Pine Tree Cab-$7.00 Elite Cab-$5.00 Lynn's cab-$5.50 I asked the dispatcher at Pine Tree if I could speak with a manager, she responded that she was the manager, but refused to give me her name, but said The City of Waterville dictated what the cab companies charge..and then she hung up on me..I then called and spoke with a clerk at City Hall, AFTER I spoke with someone in the Mayors office about this...the clerk I spoke with, Sarah, said that the City of Waterville DOES NOT REGULATE TAXI CAB FEES, and they have not for MANY YEARS, cab companies charge whatever they want. She even Saud about going to the website www.cityofwaterville.org, and type in Ordinance on Taxi Cabs.. I re called Pine Tree Cab, and due to caller ID, they didn't answer, but I was able to leave a voice mail, to which I left them the information I'd just researched, and informed them they were committing HIGHWAY ROBBERY, on a town that has many people on A Fixed Income, that utilize cabs for shopping, doctors appointments ect..and I was going to blast all the local businesses that has a Face Book Page, or a web site, as well as YELP, with this information... How dare a cab company that a community supports as a small business, do this!!! PLEASE SHARE, and Stop this Cab company from robbing our locals. P.S. Pine Tree even called my number back, and NEVER SAID A WORD, after I'd answered, as I thought it may be the owner responding to the voice mail I had left. read more

Made a time call 12 hours in advance. Next town over, they charge 4X the in town rate. ($3.75 X 4 = $15.00). After three phone calls half an hour apart I'm finally told by the OWNER, "Go f**k yourself, start your own cab company." read more

Can't say just how horrible this service is, The best I have seen them do is be only an hour and 50 minutes late. Call to complain, no problem, they just hang up on you. How they stay in business is beyond belief. I will be looking into Uber, thought I would never do that. read more

Worst taxi service ever! They're Over priced never on time. They've lied to me repeatedly saying they would be there in thirty minutes then they said they would be there any minute when I called back after waiting a hour then I was next on the list. I ended up being two hours late for work and it made me look like a lier and a flake to my boss when I told him I was getting picked up any minute three times. Instead of them telling me the truth so I could let my boss know. This has happend twice and ill never let it happend again next time my car brakes down ill either be calling another taxi service or a family member. Because unlike them I like to be on time for my appointments. read more
