Each pour showcased the care and artistry that goes into Rae's winemaking. The Dandy Rosé was bright and refreshing, and the Trousseau was a beautifully light red. The charcuterie board? Easily one of the best I've had while wine tasting in the Hill Country. Every bite was thoughtfully curated and paired perfectly with the wines and we devoured nearly everything on it. The absolute highlight of the visit, though, was meeting Rae Wilson, the winery's master wine maker, herself! She was making the rounds in the tasting room, chatting with guests, and stopped by our table. Getting to hear directly from the winemaker about her process and passion added such a personal touch to the experience--it's not every day you get that kind of access.
