With locations in both Powell and Worland, Larsen's is easily THE ONLY full service bike shop most folks in this area have access to. Neither shop takes this responsibility lightly. Both shops are run by people who are knowledgeable riders themselves. To specifically address the Worland shop, Lisa has been at the counter to address Worland's bicycle, skateboard and snowboard needs for I think 20 to 25 years and has outfitted multiple generations with the appropriate gear. Repairs, new bikes, parts and accessories; Lisa has always been polite, capable and ready to help. To address the only other review currently on yelp. When one strikes out cross country, on a bike and I hold to this philosophy myself; one should have the appropriate parts and tools to fix breakdowns roadside. Running a busy venture oneself is a daunting task under the best of circumstances. It's first come first served. A tourist with broken spokes still has to deal with the present que. Sorry, just a fact of every part of life. It's a one person shop and there's work ahead of you. Personally, and here I can only speak for myself but I fix my own broken spokes. Just sayin'. I've never received anything but top shelf service at either Larsen's locations. Just today I took a first time buyer in and Lisa was patient and took the time to make sure she was comfortable with her purchase. These guys will rent you one! They've got a cool, modern trailer that has all the latest tech that'll get you to the top of the Tetons grandly. Their expertise is impressive. They sell maps to help you get around, and the staff is ready to answer questions about any of the merch. They've got a hiking shoe selection that's hard to beat, and lots of the coolest latest gadgets that'll help you get over the river and through the woods. There's a second story to this place, I don't think there's an elevator available. One of my favorite things about this store are the displays- in the window and on the sales floor, they have little camping scenes set up, where they're highlighting their gear or clothing. This is a great outfitters to get outfitted in before going on that grand journey through the Great Outdoors.
