Now, to count the reasons I love this store: + Elegant bridal gifts. + Gorgeous baby gifts. The most stunning collection of stuffed animals and German teddy bears. + Fantastic small gifts for the "I don't know what to get them" person. + Classy stationary (this is HARD to find). But the most interesting thing about Daydreams & Tea is their self-proclaimed interest in "Regina"-alogy. A play on genealogy named after the owners' mother, this shop encourages both genealogical projects and storytelling. What do I mean by that? + Genealogical projects: they have gorgeous sets of family tree sets, storytelling frames, shadowboxes to frame family mementos, and specific frames for family art. + Storytelling: they collect pieces from local families, and encourage them to leave their stories behind for others to discover. For example, they currently have a fascinating antique piano (for sale). Inside, there's a handwritten note from a family in 1978 explaining the history of the piano when they acquired it, telling the story of its 1892 origins.
