It was about 4:30pm and there were no customers dining in. They close at 6pm. We ordered Daing na bangus, pinakbet, halo halo and beef kare kare. We sat in the waiting area about 15 minutes. The halo halo was brought out first and it was so good and refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. Shortly after the entrees were given to us. Everything smelled so good. When we got home, we couldn't wait to eat the food and just dive right in. The food was still piping hot and delicious, not too fattening and not too salty. We enjoyed our meal very much and will drop by next time we're in the area. Nice staff, private parking lot, clean restaurant, clean restrooms.

This one wasn't crispy but still loved it. It's too labor intensive to make fresh lumpia at home so we ordered it. It did not disappoint. The wrapper was soft (thin crepe) and the sauce perfectly paired with it. The filling was also perfect. The serving is huge. all of the dishes are shareable. Rice is ordered separately but very cheap. Service was 5 stars. They are so friendly and professional. You can feel the positive vibes while eating. Place is not that big but spacious enough to have several tables Not a lot of diners but there was a lot of "to go" as well as catering orders. People kept coming in and out to pick up their orders. Not a lot of good Filipino restaurants around Sacramento but this is one of the best ones. They have their own parking. I definitely recommend this place.

I finally got a chance to try Kultura Cafe today for lunch. I had this place scoped out and…read morebookmarked for months! The interior offers multiple tables for indoor dining, a photo op corner, and a walk up and order at the counter style concept. Dining-in is welcome, with utensils and napkins available self serve at the counter. All meals are served in to go containers for convenience. I had already looked over the menu and knew I wanted to try the Pork Belly Sisig. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I placed my order and added a spontaneous milk tea with boba, 'cause why not live a little. Food and drink came out quickly. The pork belly sisig was great, and consisted of shredded browned pork belly with a side of pickled veggies over a bed of rice, with a fried egg and two pieces of lumpia, garnished with a touch of diced white onion. Very tasty. I ordered the Jasmine Tea boba. Pro-tip: you can ask for less sweet on the teas. He customized my milk tea at 50% sweetness. I look forward to coming back to try the pork adobo, order more lumpia and try the spam musubi. It's been awhile since I've had good Filipino food! I grew up in a very culturally diverse area and missed these dishes, so I'm stoked to have this available right down the street from my work. Definitely come in and show this family run small business some love.

We had to ring a bell for someone to come take our order. We ordered Green Apple Slush with Lychee Jelly. It was over $8. They also charge for using a card. The drink was ready quick but....it was just mid. And especially for the price. But they do have a cute photo op wall.

But for the same price, we can get so much more at places like Oriental Market and just as delicious to satisfy our craving for Filipino food. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces out front, service was great and friendly. Seating space? Extremely limited, especially if you have a party of 5 or more. Best to order for takeout food which brings me to my main point - if I have to order Filipino takeout because of extremely limited seating, I'd rather simply get a la carte elsewhere and pay a lot less or hit up Rocklin area where there are restaurants that serve fantastic boba drinks with fantastic Filipino dishes for much more affordable prices! Is the food incredible? Yes! Will it satisfy your craving for Filipino food? Absolutely! Would I return? No, I wouldn't, to be perfectly honest. Regardless, I feel it's worth a try if you haven't yet but just be mindful of the highs and lows. It's not all great, but it's not all bad. Mediocre and average, at the very least, given all factors. Do I have high expectations of Filipino restaurants? You bet I do!
