    Pork Lumpia and noodles
    Julieann M.

This truck pulled up like a lunchtime miracle, and let me tell you, it delivered! If you haven't tried this truck yet, you're seriously missing out. I grabbed a crispy lumpia plate with noodles and I'm definitely ready for my next visit! The lumpia were absolute perfection, golden brown, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. No soggy rolls here! And the noodles? Saucy, slightly spicy, with the perfect chew. It's comfort food with a punch. The portion size was generous, the price was more than fair, and the food was clearly made with love. You can taste the care in every bite. And to add to all the amazingness, the staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. The food truck was well put together and seemed very clean both inside and out! The only thing I looked forward to more than clocking out was this food truck pulling up at lunch. So glad they came to save the work day!

The flavor was great!! The drizzle of hot sauce on top is a must! It adds so much to the dish. That combo with the other sauces and the seasoning on the meat was so good! And I mean love me some loaded fries and these lived up to the hype I've heard about them. The lumpia was a bit pricy but very good quality! Very glad I got a recommendation to give them a try! Def will go back if I see them at a future market or event I'm at, and hopefully try one of the sold out items.

I had the chance to experience Pinorrito at my workplace, when our building organized a food truck for lunch. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the food was fresh. I ordered the sisig based on staff recommendation, adding in a side of two lumpia. The sisig was fatty and cooked nicely, but not much of the calamansi/vinegar tanginess that I'm accustomed to, even after squeezing the included sliver of lemon. Nor any spice (thought you can add on a side of sriracha-type sauce). I did like the crunch of onions for extra texture. Pork lumpia were perfectly fried, and served with a sweet and sour sauce. Rice was cooked well. However, for $23 (which includes tax/tip), I wouldn't go out of my way to try Pinorrito again. The portions are smaller than expected for such a price tag, and the flavor wasn't what I prefer for sisig. It also does not match the menu photos (both online and on their truck), which advertise the sisig bowl with a fried egg and chili pepper. If I spot them at a future event, I would probably stop by for the lumpia.

I had the lumpia plate and the lumpia was so good and I had never had a pancit this style before, I thought it was delicious! I hope to try more plates!

I caught Pinorrito at a smaller food truck event and I'll definitely seek out the smaller events to dine with them in the future. The wait for food was a lot shorter this visit and it came out hot and fresh! We ordered Pork Lumpia (5 pieces for $8.99) and the Seared Pork Sisig rice plate ($14.99). Both were out pretty quickly and were hot. The lumpia was crispy and flavorful and my husband commented that he really enjoyed that the sauce was a bit spicier than typical sweet chili sauce. We liked the kick! The Sisig was flavorful and came with rice and a fried egg that had a nice runny yolk when we popped it. It was a good portion when you paired it with the lumpia. We'll definitely stop by again whenever we see Pinorrito.

ight so i was on my lunch break so i pulled up to the capitol mall for a quick meal. saw this place so i had to pu since i don't get filipino cuisine much. but yeah i got the chicken sisig rice plate thing and it wasn't too shabby at all. but for $18 (with the egg) i expected a lot more man. the portions were fr lacking. barely any sisig. and portions were just lacking for everything ngl man. but the flavors were pretty good tho for the meat. the noodles on the side (not sure what they were) were kinda cheeks tho if im being honest. but yeah. food tastes pretty solid but j pretty pricey. the guy who took my order was very nice tho. but it did take pretty long to get my order out. was almost late to clock back in for work man. but yeah place is solid...

Sisig fries (fries themselves are amazing but sisig meat is very dry)

"...Food truck with standout pork sisig..." If the Yelp headline descriptor means standout as in distractingly gritty and under-seasoned, then sure. I mean, the fries themselves in the sisig fries are amazing as they're crispy and absorb the various sauces well (very reminiscent of Papa Urb's, IYKYK). Such a letdown regarding the meat though; I became very skeptical on taste right upon receiving the fries and seeing the meat being noticeably dry. I ended up eating around the meat and just the fries. Lumpia has a rich savory taste to it but has an underwhelming crunch. Overall a mixed bag hence 3 stars. Perhaps might be an option to consider at a food truck event if you really have a hankering for some sort of loaded fries but wouldn't say it's a must-try.

Pinorrito is a Filipino food truck run by brothers Ralph and Randolph born and raised in Iguig, Cagayan Valley, Phillipines. Motivated by their love for food and cooking, they decided to start their own food truck to share their love for Filipino fusion food to a wider audience. Given the ephemeral nature of food trucks, it can be challenging to anticipate where they'll be next. Fortunately, Pinorrito keeps their website updated with their latest events so you can always be in the know! I was lucky to happen upon Pinorrito at the Asian Pacific CultureFest happening in Elk Grove last weekend, and what a treat it was! We got their loaded fries topped with pork sisig and a fried egg. Fries and potatoes might as well be their own food group to me with how much I consume, now that being said a loaded fry dish is always a yes from me, and this dish was the perfect vessel to add in some traditional Filipino flavors. The pork sisig was well cooked and flavorful, while the fried egg was cooked just right so that the yolk was still a little runny in the middle and could be mixed into the dish. Overall, a great bite that made for a very happy tummy during the lunch hour at the festival. If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine in the Sacramento area and want to support a local business, I highly recommend giving Pinorrito a try!

Bomb tacos, it's all in the sauce. I tried one of each flavor and they're all good. Unique Filipino fusion. Fusion tacos are the best. Thanks guys for supporting Bradshaw animal shelter with your truck at the Roy C. Marcum fair today.

I visited Pinorrito while at the R street market. I am really glad that I finally had the opportunity to try the food. I orders the pork lumpia's and the pork sisig, which were really good. The sisig was really flavorful. I have no complaints.

    Sisig fries

These were the best meat + fries combo I've ever had. This was also my first time trying sisig and I'd come back to try it again! Usually meat + fries are a heavy combo and leaves you feeling a little yucky but the sisig fries had a good balance of acidity with the meat/fries. We had these when their food truck was a vendor at the Davis Craft Fair. Service was fast - highly recommend .

I visited Pinorrito at the mid-Autumn festival. It was a lovely food truck that also has an establishment in Sacramento. I ordered tacos and my friend had a rice plate with egg on top. Everything came out pretty quickly and the service was very friendly. Both were absolutely scrumptious and I wouldn't change a thing. If you are in the mood for good food I would definitely check out Pinorito.

Got the pork sisig. It had 3/4 the rice and only 1/4 the sisig. sisig felt like it was sprinkled on top as a seasoning.

The owner enticed me by offering samples of the jambalaya, which I loved. It was spicy and flavorful. I wished I ordered it, but I wanted to try the shrimp po' boy (with coleslaw dressing). I got the combo which included a choice of side and I went with the macaroni and cheese. The sandwich was $10 and sides cost $3, but with a combo I paid $12.50. It was a difference of $.50- not much of a combo. The meal was a bit pricy. The bread on the po'boy had a crisp crust. The coleslaw was kind of bland. The shrimp wasn't fried but sautéed. There was an abundant amount of shrimp with every bite. I hate it when you eat a sandwich and you end up with more bread than filling, but that wasn't the case here. Even so, I think I would've enjoyed the hotlink po' boy more. The macaroni and cheese was good.

The size of the food wasn't bad could have been better but again on par for a food truck 3. Taste VERY GOOD. The shrimp Po'boy and the oyster both had a fresh look and taste which I wasn't sure what to really expect from a food truck Those 3 areas this place gets a full 4 stars Moving onto the other 2 1. Service: Not only slow but not the most friendly either. Kinda short with the customer and when people were asking why they were skipped Over or not receiving food the lady was snappy and quiet rude at times. 2. Wait times, holy hell. I know I'm not going to get fast food times from a food truck, but nearly 25 mins for two sandwiches and fries is down right terrible. I get it was a busy event, but how about an apology an update something that says, sorry this isn't normal we are trying. Nothing, the wait was so bad in fact folks in line we warning other customers and many moved on as time was running low on the event we were attending Additionally, can you please staff 1 more person. You have a cook who did a great job the food was awesome, you have an order taking person who did a good job on food consistency and presentation. However you would benefit from a 3rd person to focus on the customer interaction and customer service aspect. Overall food alone gets a 4 but the rest really shows me why this food truck averages a 3 star review Which sucks because I reallly wanted this to be amazing because I love the little local guys

We started with the pork lumpia, and let me tell you--it was FRESH fresh! It came out so hot we had to let it cool for a minute before taking a bite. It was perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and paired so well with their homemade dipping sauce. For our main dishes, we ordered the BBQ chicken with white rice. The chicken was an easy 10/10! It had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors that kept you coming back for another bite, and the rice was cooked perfectly. We also tried the chicken pancit. The flavor was incredible, and it came out hot and fresh with plenty of delicious vegetables and tender chicken. I'd give it an 8/10 only because the bottom of the dish was a little oily.
