These are brave employees working with some of the most challenging customers there are. I have been buying and pawning with this location for years. After the only counter the employees appeared to be using opened up I approached it. Wasn't acknowledged and was ignored for a few minutes until the lady behind the counter, Tatiana, signaled the rude lady behind me to step forward even though I was in front of her. Let her know I was next in line and had been patiently waiting for a long time (unlike the lady behind me who repeatedly bumped me). She then caught an attitude and accused me of stepping out of the line (That I was at the front of). Ended up having to wait for another employee. He was nice, no problem w/him. She then tried to make it look as though I was complaining about him by commenting that he was new! Don't know where she got that from!!! I reiterated that I wasn't complaining about him in the slightest and suggested he get a raise. Unfortunately he had to call Tatiana over for help & I mentioned to her that I never stepped out of the line & she responded with "Is that how you talk to women?!"!!! Been coming to this shop for twenty years & have never had an issue at all before today. That's the response I get for asking why she took the lady BEHIND me in line BEFORE me?!?! What was she trying to insinuate?! How I talk to women...? I kept it respectful, I didn't raise my voice, curse or call her out of her name in any way & that was her response?! Just wow. I don't think interacting w/the public is the job for her. She's lazy and instigating nonsense w/customers so has an excuse to throw them out and be able to shorten the long line faster. I see her! I won't be giving you any more of my business going forward if I see her again or deal w/anyone with that kind of attitude. Absolutely not. I recommend/advise keeping her in back to clean toilets if you choose to keep her and her rude incompetence employed...Her attempt to de-escalate the the situation SHE CAUSED was laughable. Do better.

When I wanted a vow renewal ring for my wife, I went to the same…read morejewelry store in Maple Grove that had designed my wife's wedding ring and a 10th anniversary necklace because they had done such a beautiful job. And although the former owner had retired and they had changed the store name to Croft and Stern Jewelry, the new owner Kelly explained that she had worked with my previous jeweler for several years and could provide the same custom design services. This was very important to me, because I am fairly particular and love special pieces for my wife to turn out just perfect. So, Kelly and I collaborated on an aquamarine ring (my wife's birthstone) offset by two small diamonds with the 3 stones, Kelly explained, signifying Past, Present and Future. And because my wife's hands are petite and because I didn't want anything that would upstage the wedding ring on her other hand, I explained I wanted the ring to be elegant but not ostentatious. In other words I wanted a sort of understated elegance. Well, Kelly worked with me every step of the way and, since we have retired to Florida, she emailed me images of the ring at every stage of the design, custom crafting the ring to incorporate any design tweaks based on my feedback and was wonderful to work with throughout the process. The bottom line is the ring turned out to be simply elegant and exactly what I wanted. Also the ring was/is to be a surprise, therefore all of the design tweaks, the payment and the shipment of the ring were handled completely discreetly. So, if you'd like a piece of custom jewelry designed for virtually any occasion, or would like to browse the beautiful collection they have in store, I would give Kelly and Croft & Stern Jewelry my strongest possible recommendation.
