Recently I went for a manicure and pedicure there were two of us and no one else in the place. The owner (man) did my pedicure. He was extremely rough. He used the callus remover with a vengeance as a result I have cuts all over my feet. After that he got out the paraffin and did not wait for it to cool slightly and I put my foot into very hot wax...then came the hot towels that were not wrung out the water ran down to my feet and burned one with a mark. I've tried this place a few times and find the people rude and this experience was not the usual relaxing time I have at my normal place. I cannot recommend based on my experience. read more

The worst experience ever. Let's start with the two cuts on my toes. Ouch!!! Then the polish that had to be redone on my nails. We can end with the the second round of polish coming off during the evening. Polish was so old and broken down that it wouldn't stick. I never write reviews, but this experience was awful and all right before a big event I had to attend. First world problem for sure, but I attended the event with no polish. Wast of time, money and a little toe pain to top it off. I would not recommend Joy Nails ever. read more

If I could give this nail salon a zero star I would. I was going in to get my nails done to cheer me up because I'm sad. And then they started talking to other guests about me and then they said pick your color I said no I want gel then they proceeded to work on another clients nails witch is fine but then the guy who was there I don't know his name didn't bother to ask but he then told me that there is the gel nail color on the table so I am standing up and just minding my business looking at the colors & he told me "sit down" like I'm a dog or something like do not go here. I called my fiancé and then acted like I had an emergency at home so then I could get out of that very awkward situation. I will be spending my money elsewhere! They will never get my money or my time ever again I walked out . This place should be shut down! read more

Wish I would've read reviews before coming in here. Was having lunch with a friend next door and decided to pamper ourselves. Terrible decision. The lady doing our nails used the same sanding band on both of us and clearly every customer before us. She pulled nippers out of a drawer that clearly weren't sanitized or stored correctly. Now a week later my nails are lifting, and since I do my own acrylics I'm taking off the dip powder manicure I received at Joy Nail Salon, and it's a disgusting MMA mess. Health code violations and not professional grade products. Never again. read more

Extremely RUDE owner. I walked in as they were opening and waited patiently, picking out my color. After about 20 minutes of being completely unacknowledged, the male owner asked what I'd like done. Came in for a manicure and pedicure. Joy was incredible! She took her time to work on my in-grown nails. She gave me an extra long massage on my legs/feet and hands/arms. She used the hot wax to moisten and smooth out my feet and then finished my feet with a hot stone massage. Here's the best part...I was expecting to pay $60-80 and my grand total was only $39!!! I am so sad I have used Joy for a while and have usually been satisfied with my services - their pedicures have more steps than most at the price. But today I walked in over 2 hours before closing (before 5pm Saturday, they close at 7), was not greeted, and when I asked for a gel manicure the 2 owners looked at each other and then said "we're closed." I was confused since their Google business listing, door, and hours sign in the window all said they were open til 7. I understand that it's their prerogative to run their business the way they like, but customer service is super important to me. I gave them my business every couple of weeks and to be sent away arbitrarily is just frustrating. I'd been overdue for new gel for a week and had finally found a chance in my schedule to get there without the kids. When I politely questioned why they were closing early, they just stared at me and didn't answer. Lost my business. read more

My wife had called to see if they could take two people (ment for myself and my son). They said yes and she said "They will be there in 15-20 minutes." My son and I arrived within 20 minutes and when we walked in I said two pedicures the man gave me an awkward look and asked if I had called. I told him yes. He replied, "But that was a woman." I told him my wife had called for us. After several seconds of him staring at me with a disapproving look I asked if there was a problem. He again just stared at me then said something to one of the women working then turned back to me. I asked again if there was a problem and received the same blank stare. I asked if it was because we were men and got zero response. I felt completely discriminated against because of my gender. I told the man to not worry about it and we walked out. I will NEVER step foot back in this establishment or suggest anyone support a business that clearly discriminates against people for any reason. read more

DO NOT GET ACRYLIC NAILS HERE. They use MMA which is a serious cheap chemical that is banned to use. Ok service but only had 2 people working on a Saturday. The pedicures here are great though but I wouldn't recommend a manicure either. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want a pedicure. read more

I love this place! I have never been a fan of pedicures, but I decided to get one here and now I can't wait for my next one! They take their time doing everything here and make sure to give you the best service possible. My gel manicures always last longer than two weeks and I love the hot wax they use! read more
