I visited this salon for the first time yesterday after my sister recommended it--she lived in…read moreMandeville a few years ago and had always spoken highly of it. Unfortunately, it seems the quality may have declined since then. While the nail design itself was what I requested, the application was not. My biggest concern is the amount of pain I'm experiencing. My fingers have been sore since the appointment, which has never happened to me after getting my nails done. The nails are also much thicker and bulkier than I prefer, and there is a significant amount of excess product underneath the nails. This not only affects the overall appearance but also reflects a lack of attention to detail and proper finishing techniques. I was really hoping for a better experience based on the salon's previous reputation, but unfortunately, I left disappointed

They gave a decent massage but I did start to feel pretty quickly they were getting more and more rushed. We ended up with a total pedicure that lasted 40 minutes. I had purchased the premium deluxe so I think it should have lasted a little longer. They didn't pay attention to detail on the toenails as much as I'd like. But I will say, my last pedicure I had gotten in Monroe was so terrible this one felt amazing. Lol so overall I think they did a good job and I would recommend, but my pet peeve when spending $70 on a pedicure, is if they don't take time and give attention to detail. I do understand wanting to go home but I did pay money and arrived an hour before closing. It was a clean environment.

I came in for a pedicure and a full set and only left with a pedicure, the man that did my pedicure was a little aggressive, didn't ask me which pedicure I wanted. I've been getting my nails done since 1987 and I must say that this is my WORST experience EVER!…read more I've developed infections on almost all of my nails, especially one. I'm not sure if she used super glue or not, but the nails would not come off and not only did it pull my own nails off, but it pulled the skin off under the nails. I have a Dr's appointment to fix this problem that will be costly. I'm very upset and disappointed at the fact that this has affected the health of my nails and the experience was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I should have known when I walked out with 3 bloody cuticles! NEVER AGAIN! The problem with this establishment is they overbook and try and help too many people at one time. You'll sit there for 2-3 hours. It should have been a sign right away. Stay away!!!!

Talk about total change in attitude. She knows I always tipped well. Obviously, she didn't care. If they don't like to take credit cards because of the charge they have to pay, add a fee to credit card users. Don't treat them disrespectfully. Before I picked my color I told the owner that I wanted the same color she had on her nails. She said ok. When she finished the first coat, I noticed the color was not the same. I told her about it and she said "Oh, mine is gel or acrylic, (can't remember). She knew I always get Dip. The color wasn't anywhere near the color i specifically said I wanted. She knew before touching my nails that the color I wanted wasn't available in Dip. Instead she picks out a color that wasn't even close to the color I wanted. Dip is more expensive. So instead of giving me what I wanted, she didn't want to loose money. Well, she lost a good customer. She's the owner. I will never go back.

The best. I am not…read morean expert when it comes to picking color, types of pedicures or manicures, or even knowing how to turn on the massage feature on the pedicure chair. But I know a great place and great people and Happy Feet is both awesome and has awesome people who own it. I know what you're thinking. What does a dude from Algiers know about pedicures? Like I said earlier, not much. I know that I occasionally like to get them and have my feet feeling great. In order to understand the full extent of my lack of pedicure knowledge, I will walk you through how I choose which one to get. Step 1 sit in the chair. Step 2, look at the book usually and point at whichever one looks best. I don't put color on my toes ever. Well, there was that one time I let the kids paint my toes hot pink and realized it would take months to come off on its own. That was hard to explain at the doctor and when I had a roommate at work. But, I digress. Phan Phan and Henrietta are two of the most friendly, most funny, and genuinely awesome to be around people. On my very first visit we were treated like I had known them forever. We talked like old friends and I got the best pedicure I have ever received. I even was treated to Phan Phan singing a rock version of a traditional Vietnamese song. These folks make me want to come here and just hang out. What an awesome couple. If you live on the northshore, you should add Happy Feet to your list of places to try.
