The staff was extremely friendly but the actual Macarons were very dry and overpriced. read more

JOY Macarons - Macarons Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I lived in France close to two years ago and nothing I have tried has come close to the macarons there. UNTIL, I had Joy Macarons. I visited their store last night and it was such a cool atmosphere. The macarons are hands down the best I've had in the US. Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!! read more

Called Joy Macarons for a quick mothers day gift. I chose honey lavender, cookie dough, lemon fleur de sol, Italian creme, bourbon pecan, and pistachio. Flavors were a definite hit. Will be ordering another batch. read more

Amazingly delicious! Now one of my favorite macarons shops and is up there with Laduree for me :) can't wait to come back or see one in california! read more

A macaron place has finally opened on lower Greenville. Yay, it's about damn time. The interior is very sleek and modern with giant doors that hinge back and worth - they're pretty stellar doors. All of the macarons are displayed flat so look down to find what you're looking for. The macarons aren't labeled in the case so you'll have to pick up one of their displays infographics to decipher which is which. This is one issue I have with their display - just label them for simplicity's sake. Do these live up to the Pierre Herme and Laduree macarons I've had in Europe? Not necessarily, but they do have a great filling. The pastries themselves have a bit of a chewier texture versus that sharp crunch you're looking for. They also have macaron ice cream sandwiches which most likely are loads better than what you find at the Korean coffee shops. Joy is probably the closest thing to a decent macaron you'll find in Dallas. They're also priced per usual - each macaron costing $2.20 and a case of 6 costing $13. Pretty standard macaron fare. So go on and get your basic on by getting a box of 6 and pretend to share them when we all really know you're going to eat that half dozen by yourself. read more

Sooooo good! Almond flavor was my favorite. Staff very friendly and walked us through the different flavors available.

Some friends and I popped in here on an evening in Lower Greenville, and I'm really glad we did. The shop is clean, bright and very cute. The workers were all very friendly & helpful as we checked out their wide selection of macarons. Every single one was incredibly delicious! The flavors were full but not overpowering. I loved the raspberry especially! In my group we ordered a wide variety and all very much enjoyed them. Someone in the group has a wheat allergy as well, so it was great for her to be able to pick anything she wanted since macarons are made with almond flour. The macarons were smaller than I normally see, but they were also cheaper than I've seen. Overall I'd be very happy coming back here on my next trip to Dallas. read more

Super yummy and affordable, didn't know this place was this local. The girl working explained the history and about the macarons. You can order a box or six, a dozen, singles, or more. It was very clean and tasted great, Over 20 different kinds read more

Yay! It's finally open!! I was so excited when I saw that they were opening another Joy Macarons here just closer which is even better! I'm really in awe with the design on the store very chic and modern I love it! The workers are just a JOYful here as they are over there. Plus they open later here which I'm a huge fan of! read more

I love the pastries! I don't like them prices though lol if it wasn't so pricy it would definitely be a whole 5 stars! I love how they have lots to choose from. I wish the place was a bit bigger so it could fit a good amount of people and give the option to eat inside but it's pretty small. Other than that I love the place! Super aesthetic lol read more

I was not impressed with this spot. I took off one star for quality and one star for price. My macaroon ice cream cookie sandwich was not that wonderful. The cookies were chewy and the sandwich had a chocolate drizzle on it that was kind of distracting from the ice cream. As for the actual macarons, I think $2.20 for one or $25 for a dozen is a little outrageous for cookies the size of a silver dollar. My subpar macaron ice cream sandwich was $6.50 with tax and I feel like I could've gotten a better dessert experience somewhere else for the same price. read more

Yummy macaroons! I love the simple concept of this place... they have many flavors to choose from and are fairly reasonable!

Yum! Perfect for gifts or if you are just craving something sweet and unique! Must try the Lavender&Honey! Also, the new ice cream macaroons are freaking amazing! read more

It is crazy how good these things are! If you have not had one just go. believe me you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend the sea salt Caramel flavor! Dark chocolate is good too! read more

Tried this place for the first time today. I got a dozen so that I could try all the delicious looking flavors. Pretty sure the pistachio is my new favorite! read more

These macaroons are soooooo gooooood!!!!! So much flavor!!!! Iv tried all of them and i am in looooove!!! The ice cream sandwiches are really good to!!! The girl that works there was so nice i wish i got her name she was a sweetheart!!! read more

Very elegantly done. The macaroons are quite good. This is an excellent addition to the neighborhood. I tried the almond, pistachio, and chocolate chip. Hopefully the customers will come. It's worth supporting. read more

Amazing! Best macarons in Dallas. I've had them from all over the world and Joy's macrons rank in my top three. I live only a mile away and visit once a week. The must tries are pistachio, vanilla, lavender, raspberry, and my absolute fave is the rose. They're all perfect with a crunch outside and a chewy inside with an amazing filling. Best in Dallas. read more

Tasty macarons, really cute shop, not good service. I came here after lunch super excited to satisfy my sweet cravings. The young lady working the register was assisting someone else (it happens) but after standing there for close to 10 minutes and not being acknowledged I was so annoyed and had instantly loss my cravings. Thank God there's a location in the bishop arts. read more

I had heard about the macaron ice cream sandwiches and I just had to try them. I tried the mint chocolate chip (one of my absolute favorite flavors) upon the recommendation of the person working there. They told me it was made with fresh mint. It was sooooo bad :( Maybe I just really like artificial mint flavor?? The ice cream inside the sandwich tasted like a mix of toothpaste and grass. It also tasted a little less than fresh, like an old carton of ice cream. The macaron tasted MUCH better and the concept of the two things together definitely works!! I may return and try a different flavor because I enjoyed the concept. However, it was disappointing to throw most of my $6.50 ice cream sandwich away :( read more

Have merit as self made baker but still a long way to go as a true French pastry chef. The macarons are from so-so to not so good if you have ever been to France and have had macaron in Paris. read more

The ICECREAM sandwich is a must try! I ordered the plain vanilla and it was delicious! I can only imagine how the others taste! However I do wish that they had more options in the sandwiches. The regular macaroons are smaller than normal but they are also pretty a tasty. If I return it will only be for the sandwich. read more

The macarons are absolutely delicious! I ordered 6 and decided to try the lavendar honey, it was yummy! I wish I could give 3.75 stars but that's a no go on here! The mid range score is for the price. Yes, they are delicious and yes, the girls working were great but $2.20 for this size macaron is pushing it! I've had some really good macarons that were twice the size and they were only $1.75! read more

Amazing Macarons, they taste similar to laduree Macarons (soft and amazing). Customer service is also great! The only thing is hard to find a parking space around the area. read more

So far these are hands-down the best macarons in DFW! They are perfectly aged and not too crunchy like most places tend to make them. My favorite is the rose and lychee flavors, but I've yet to have a bad macaron from JOY! read more

Really neat place! That macaroons were better than what I expected. A very tasty variety of flavors. Check this place out if you're feeling adventurous! read more

This place makes good macaroons. That's not really questionable. But, the atmosphere left me wanting & the staff were unhelpful & rather snooty. I asked for some clarification on flavors & the girls looked at me like I was an idiot...surely if all you sell is macaroons, you can offer your customers more than, "it tastes like chocolate"...but I diverge: it's really modern inside & the seating wasn't very comfortable. My two favorite flavors are almond & Italian cream. At $2 each, they weren't as pricey as I anticipated. I would rather cater these & have someone pick them up, I'm in no hurry to go back to the storefront any time soon. read more

Best Macaroons in all of Dallas. Loved the vibe. Will definitely be coming back for more.

This is the best macaron place ever! It's cute and the lady working there offered the best customer service! The flavors are interesting and the macaron ice cream sandwiches are a-maz-ing!! They are a bit sweet so it may pay to share. read more

Who does not love a great macaroon? Yes, they are a little expensive but well worth the cost when you consider the time it takes to make a single macaroon. My mom was in town visiting from Florida and loves macaroons. After visiting several other bakeries we were feeling a little let down. Other places had limited flavors, low stock, or dry macaroons. Very different experience at Joy - they were fresh, well stocked, and service was friendly. Joy is hands down the best macaroon joint in town. Next visit I'm hoping to try their macaroon ice cream sandwich! Two giant macaroons with ice cream in the middle - a perfect combo! read more

Yes, macarons aren't the cheapest craft dessert, but the ones at Joy Macarons are so incredibly delectable and beautiful with well thought-out flavors. We live off Greenville so we frequent the shop and I definitely recommend the macaron ice cream sandwich if you want something creative and different from your mainstream fro-yo options you can get around here. Love having these awesome food options in our backyard and will always support local sweet spots like this! Keep up the good work! read more

Stopped by for the first time last weekend. I've been in search of great macarons ever since Tart changed owner. Loved it! Perfect texture and the creme filling is not overwhelming. I've always had two favorites: salted caramel and pistachio, but now at this place it's hard to tell! Rose and Lychee was surprisingly delicious! Have to try the lavender too! Definitely worth the trip from Plano. read more

Amazing is all I can say!!! Really cool little place with several flavors to choose from. Give it a try and you'll be glad you did

These are some of the better macaroons that I've had. Get a few of the cookie dough, they were my favorite!

Took my gf there and she absolutely loved it. And I totally stole a bite of everything. Lavender one was my fav.

The variety and quality of the macaroons are outstanding. I've also used them as gifts and they have a lovely presentation.

You have to try the ice cream sandwiches! They are delicious! I got the mint one, the mint tasted so fresh and was not too sweet. The macarons are good as well. They come in a variety of flavors and every flavor that I have tried has been great! My only complaint is that it is a little pricey. read more

Absolutely delicious macaroons. Good selection of flavors and very friendly service. This business is a great addition to lower Greenville.

Refreshing and scrumptious! We had the raspberry sorbet macaroon sandwich. Highly recommend that flavor! Perfect afternoon snack on a hot day in the city! read more
