The worker at the front was very kind and patient while my friend and I browsed the beautiful selection of fresh macarons and the ice cream selections. They recommended the cereal milk. It had a lovely fruit loop flavor with the creamy ice cream and the macaron was soft and a wonderful texture. The white chocolate and fruity pebbles added a wonderful texture to the bite. Joy Macarons was the first place to pop up and it didn't take much convincing for me to give them a visit although it was a little bit out of the way. I tried the cookies and cream as well as a cinnamon one (I can't remember exactly what it was), as suggested by the person that checked us out. They were both so good and I honestly don't think you could go wrong with any of their selections. I wasn't able to try and of their original macaroons although they all looked great. This place is just adorable. Love the selection of macarons. My husband got a Mac-Shake that was really tasty and we split a 12pk box. Presentation obviously a 5/5, taste was more around a 4. They shells were yummy and delicious; but the fillings were awkward with some flavors and the texture was more whipped icing than normal macaron fillings I've had. Still pretty tasty! My favorite flavors were the honey lavender, almond, salted caramel, and Italian sweet cream. My least favorite was the lemon; I usually love lemon; but I did not dig this one. The place is in a great location on the strip; and the inside is super cute. Not really large enough to hang out with a lot of people; but the outside makes up for it. To start it off, my wife is a massive macaron fan so we made it a priority to find a great macaron place while in town. Upon looking on the outside, JOY Macarons has a welcoming entrance amongst other storefronts next to it. After walking in, we were met by a wonderful man (apologies as I don't remember his name) who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the macarons offered along with those not on the menu. We ordered a dozen macarons, including: pistachio, pumpkin cheesecake, and chocolate. Not only that, but they had macaron ice cream sandwiches, in which we got the cookies n crème and the cereal one. The ice cream sandwiches were absolutely amazing, keeping the perfect texture of the macaron intact while mixing in the ice cream (all of which kept cold as if they were still in the freezer!). Their regular macarons kept the perfect texture of crunch and softness while packing a wonderful flavor that's out of this world! It is no surprise that they've been around for almost 10yrs now! Surprisingly excellent texture and flavors! I am a huge fan of Lauduree in Paris, New York and Washington D.C. and it is hard to find macarons that match the texture, but this comes very close. The ice cream sandwiches are unique, and the texture of the macaron somehow stayed perfect! We actually had ours delivered through a deal on DoorDash, and it arrived in perfect shape even through the journey. We got the Lavendar ice cream sandwich, which I loved and would get again. My friend had been raving about their fruity pebble ice cream macron and I had to find out what the hype was all about. We happened to be in the neighborhood and naturally we decided to check it out. I've had laduree in Paris and didn't think any other macarons could top that but I was certainly mistaken. These macarons were chewy on the inside and had a slight crisp on the outside. It was soft but not too soft, perfect balance in texture. I ordered the cookies and cream ice cream macaron and my friend got the fruity pebbles ice cream (one of their best sellers). We split in in half, so we could each try each other's. I now understand the hype behind the fruity pebbles ice cream macarons. To be honest I didn't even think I would like it THAT much because I'm not a huge fruity pebbles fan, but let me tell you, it was so good! I have a huge sweet tooth, so I could be biased but I didn't think it was overtly sweet-just right in my opinion. The cookies and cream has actual chunks of cookies in it and that was the cherry on top for me. I love how simple yet good it was, you really can't go wrong with cookies & cream anything and the cookies used are gluten free! I've always seen Joy Macarons on social media, so I finally decided to give it a try! The gal that helped me was super nice and she wore a mask and gloves. One thing I was a little upset about was that they had no way to print receipts. I have to keep a record of my purchases, and having emails and texts cluttering my inboxes is kind of annoying. I tried the Green Tea Ice Cream Sandwich and the Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Sandwich! The green tea flavor was strong, and I really liked the gold dusting design on the outside of the cookie shells. It was so cute! The macaron shells were the perfect traditional texture: bitey (almost a crunch) on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. He seemed kind of apathetic, but in his defense, we also came during the mid afternoon during a lull. I have yet to eat the regular macarons, but they are probably yummy if they are anything like the casing on the ice cream ones! From the outside, the store is kind of hidden and blends into the rest of the strip, but once you walk inside, it is so colorful so it's not only a treat for your belly, but also for your eyes. I disliked parking -- I wasn't sure where to park because all of the street side parking was taken and I parked in a random closeby lot I probably wasn't supposed to.
