10/10 recommend coming to this spot when craving something light and sweet for desert!! I ended up getting the Raspberry Sorbet macaroon. Kinda like an ice cream sammy with a macaroon crust but it was dairy free and SO delicious! read more

I ordered the cinnamon brownie ice cream macaron sandwich. It was a pretty large sandwich of 2 Macarons with Mexican hot chocolate ice cream and a brownie slice in between. It was very sweet, but very good. I honestly thought that I would not be able to taste the Macarons because of the ice cream, but the texture and taste of the pastry pushed through the other flavors, making for a special and good dessert. Definitely would go back to try others! read more

Absolutely loved the Ice Cream Macaroon!!! I highly recommend the Lavender or the Cereal Milk!

Cute little macaroon shop in the district. Located right next to a chocolate shop :-) lots of macaroon flavors to choose from. Very hipster-ish vibe. Picked up a dozen macs for my sister..about $25 I believe. They were tasty and she enjoyed them. read more

Now, I do enjoy a good macaron but I'm not really crazy about them. There were many types of flavors that you may not find elsewhere, so that's a pro. However, the filling to cookie ratio was so off. The staff were nice and the interior is really clean. They also offer ice cream macaron sandwiches, which I need to try next time! I had the violet macaron, which tasted too much like perfume. There was a delicious jelly filling inside but it wasn't centered and you only get that on one side. Overall, not the best I've had but not too bad either. read more

I use DoorDash Food Delivery a lot when at work for lunches for my staff. Today, a special occasion for someone's last day. I ordered pizza from a new place and although I wasn't satisfied, staff seemed to like it. Ok, so I also ordered dessert. My 1st choice was Trailercakes, but they are closed until tomorrow, Sat. June 16th (not sure why). So, my other option is JOY Macarons. I placed the order online for 2 Dz. Assortment, $50 each Dz. I thought a little pricy, but I needed a dessert. I was highly disappointed when the delivery came. One box, which I immediately thought that couldn't fit 24 Macarons. Bit, I was wrong! Opened it and was thoroughly disgusted with what I saw. They are the size of a silver dollar with VERT LITTLE filling. I paid $100 for this *$#!@ Never again, lesson learned. Will definitely visit the next place prior to ordering. read more

JOY Macarons - Just don't! - Macarons Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Best macarons hands down. Texture is perfect. Their ice cream sandwiches are so good! Red Velvet is where it's at!

Macaroons are hard and I found a blonde hair in my fruity macaroon ice cream sandwich. Didn't take a picture as I ran to the trash can to throw it away and puke. I paid way too much money to have this kind of experience. 2.5/10 do not recommend. The 2.5 rating is for the nice lady working there. She had dark brown hair and glasses. She was very kind and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the flavors. If it wasn't for her I would give this place a 0 read more

Great every time. I never felt the need to leave a review until I tried inferior macarons-gross. I frequent this cute little shop and never have I encountered a bad batch. I strongly suggest the cookie dough macaron- absolutely incredible!!! YUM! read more

Stopped in here for some of their famed macaron ice cream sandwiches to celebrate a birthday. They are novel since they're like jumbo macarons stuffed with ice cream. The macarons are the perfect texture but the flavors for me were really lackluster as they were too subtle. Also wish there was somewhere better to sit as there are a few tables out front but they were really dirty and sticky. I recommend taking them home. read more

Overall, ice cream macaroon was the bomb!! I had the red velvet. I thought it would be too sweet with the cookie and ice cream both being red velvet but It was perfect. WARNING: do not share because it's so good. However, the employee that served us was rude! I understand it was near opening hours, but she had an attitude with everything we said as soon as we walked through the door. Cannot wait to come back to Dallas to try some new flavors read more

I wanted to try the macaron ice cream since I've never tried it before. It was my first time here and the set up is absolutely adorable. I asked the lady who was working what the flavors were and she wasn't very friendly. She seemed annoyed and that I was stupid for even asking the flavors. Anyways, I got the vanilla bean macaron ice cream which was huge (you could probably share with someone) but it was a bit too sweet for me. read more

Macaroons are new to me and JOY has got me hooked. They have sweet, salty and aromatic flavors that will get you thru every season. The cookies are crisp and crunchy and the fillings are the perfect amount of sweet without being overbearing. Oh, did I mention they have Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches!!! I haven't gotten one yet because I'm waiting on the Thai Tea to come back, but word on the street is they are perfection. The flavors for the ice cream are random so keep an eye out, I will be. Greenville Ave's location is the cutest store ever. The sales associates are happy to make recommendations and the pink cushions you can rest on and enjoy your treats on are every girls dream. Creme de le creme! The best macaroons in Dallas. They not only taste amazing, they look great. The flavors are unique and real. When I say real, I mean the flavors are natural. For instance, if it says lavender, you are getting legit lavender people! Love love love this place! read more

The strawberry macaron tasted like strawberry lemonade. Perfect for one of those sunny days. The cookie dough macaron seemed like it had actual cookie dough in the center. It's like the best of both worlds. The lavender macron was a little too overpowering. Other than that, this place is so cute!! They have cute gifty things so I think buying a girlfriend a gift + macrons would be a cute birthday gift idea for the future! read more

I came across this place on a Saturday night while walking around Greenville. It was around 10 PM and luckily this place was open, so we decided to get some yummy desserts. The first thing I got was the macaron ice cream sandwich. There weren't many flavors left, just vanilla, salted chocolate, peach, and blueberry basil. I opted for the blueberry basil. The ice cream was more of a sorbet, but very rich and creamy. The macaron shell itself was crispy to the bite but slightly sweet and chewy. It was delicious but very filling. I had to share my sandwich. Too much sugar for me. I heard the flavors rotate every so often so I am definitely going to come earlier soon to try them again. The macarons were also delicious. I bought the six pack in: lemon fleur de sel, pistachio, rose and lychee, honey and lavender, Italian creme, and violet and black currant. All of the cremes were very rich and sweet. The shells were slightly crisp but chewy once you bite down. I shared three with my sister so I only had the lemon, italian creme, and violet and black currant. The lemon one was very strong, but delicious. The Italian creme was very buttery and sweet, a little too sweet for me. The violet and black currant was super floral with a hint or tartness from the currant. Overall, the macarons were delicious. I would definitely come here again and try more of the flavors. read more

I've wanted to come here for a long time so after dinner I was it was open and was soo excited to see what flavors they offer. A nice selection. They even make ice cream sandwiches out of the Macron pastry. The young lady was nice enough in answering our questions, but clearly was in a hurry for us to leave. After making our purchases she left the front and disappeared to the back. I can see she was annoyed that we were still there as we admired all that the store had to offer. Perhaps I should come back in the morning to get a better quality of service. read more

Sweet treats! Really nice modern space - not much seating but it's still nice. I love that you can see where the magic happens and watch the magicians crank out the macarons. Would've given a 4 but knocked it up to a 5 because bravo to the owner for finding this hole in the market and becoming and entrepreneur - and probably making A LOT of freaking money. Small, cute and clean. The worker there looked like a 14 year old and wasn't helpful at all, but I got a few of them to enjoy with boy.
