You could read my review on how wonderful my experience first was on their other review page: https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-nanny-league-beverly-hills?rr=1 It was a truly wonderful intake experience! After 4 months, the family I had relocated 9 hours away for suddenly ended services. There was no discussion of anything going wrong and shortly before the end, had found out potential reasons as to how they most likely couldn't afford services anymore. It felt as though they were looking for a way out. At the first head, I contacted the agency addressing the situation quickly and they acted like they understood my side. As soon as things officially ended, whatever the family said to them, made me appear like I had done the worst thing imaginable. I have glowing references, have never had an issue with a family before or since, but Ashley did not help me with finding a new position, nor gave me the opportunity to talk about the situation again. I felt powerless and especially having had uprooted my whole life for this family, did not expect to experience an agency that did not support the nanny on top of that. I also should have gotten 2 weeks pay because due to the lack of proper reasoning for the treatment I received. It has been a year and I have since tried to reach out for potential families, applying, but I either get no response or, just like last week, an almost immediate email saying "The family has gone with another candidate," only to see the post on the website and up on their emails and social media, still very much active and seeking. It's disappointing to write this, as I had hoped the agency would have handled the situation with more integrity, ensuring I was heard, understanding the full picture, and helping me secure another placement. Nannies deserve protection. If a family can no longer afford services, that's understandable, but the way this unfolded left me in an incredibly disempowering position. If anyone is seeking an extremely qualified nanny with 15+ years' experience, newborns to 16-year-olds, private jet, UHNW, and fully staffed home, homeschooling, neurodivergent, behavior therapy and more experience, feel free to reach out! It's unfortunate when an agency holds so much power over a nanny's ability to connect with families. I share this to help others avoid a similar experience and to encourage seeking agencies that genuinely advocate for their nannies. It's in challenging moments that true colors show, and I must say, I am surprised, The Nanny League.

I have a special needs child, and because my son is non vocal, uses a wheelchair and still wears diapers, quality care is the most important thing to me. My babysitter that we had is the most fun loving that we have ever had, and we feel so blessed that we found this company!!

A friend turned me onto Capital Grannies and we've been very grateful to have them. They do 7-yr background checks on all of their sitters and overall the ones we've had (probably have used 7-9 in all) have been very engaging, sweet, and definitely had a knack with kids. Not all of the sitters would qualify for "granny" status...in fact, most of them are college-age or close to it. But I've never left the house with anything less than total confidence. The only sitter who was not completely adored by our daughter was a woman who was a little bit on the hippie-ethereal side. I felt like she was perfectly nice and competent but not necessarily someone our 3-yr old could relate to. We've only had 2 friends and Capital Grannies take care of our daughter. For what it's worth.

I was happy with the babysitting connection until a recent incident with Beth-the owner I guess. I…read morerequested babysitter to have a videocall prior to coming to my house and she accepted. In the videocall, she was unwilling to cooperate and hold a conversation with me saying that all her information was on the website. I didn't feel comfortable with her attitude and reached out to Beth to remove her from my schedule. What most disturbed me more than the babysitter was Beth's hostile attitude for me wanting to have a videochat prior to accepting a stranger to my house. Beth kept saying I made the babysitter feel like she was interviewed which shows she has very close relationship with the babysitter (How would she know this within minutes?). As a business holder she should be neutral in listening to both sides but I feel like this never happened. I think she has personal connections (maybe a relative) with some of these babysitters and I think this hurts her neutrality and her business ethic. She kept saying this person has five star reviews-which I don't care. First, its an internal review-Beth can easily delete any bad reviews. Second, even if she has awesome reviews, if I don't feel the vibe, I don't feel the vibe. That's it. Plus, I asked very conversational questions, like can you tell me your experience. This was just a conversation opener to me. What was I gonna ask? What did she eat for breakfast? lol.. Beth said this was an "interview question" and made her felt being interviewed. Oh no! what a big crime!! so sorry..LOL And, yes, I should be able to talk to this person whom I will accept to my house and trust my child with. It does not matter if they are all "vetted" by Beth which does not tell me anything since ON their website, they keep saying they are NOT liable for anything that happens. Their "policy" of not allowing us to chat prior to the sit is so unreasonable. I had no idea about this policy and cancelled my membership immediately. So watch out for Beth's "vetted" babysitters. You will not be able to hold Babysitting Connection accountable if anything happens BUT you are not even allowed to have a conversation with the babysitter prior to the sit!! I think this is ridiculous!

We had the pleasure of working with the Team at StorkATX for both Birth and Postpartum Doula care…read more From our first experience with Leah and Katie, we felt supported and cared for as they were extremely responsive and our needs were taken into account at every step of the way. They treated our family as part of their own family. We met with two doulas for initial interviews. Both really listened and focused on our needs and were non-judgmental of how we envisioned the birth to go. We were fortunate to have Savannah support us as our Labor Doula, and were matched with Taylor for our postpartum care. Our birth experience would have been very difficult without Savannah. She was responsive, so caring, and provided ongoing support in helping us navigate what turned out to be a very challenging day leading up to the birth of our daughter via emergency C-section. The nursing staff was fantastic, but Savannah acted as a personal advocate before, during, and even after our delivery. After we returned home, we felt like we bonded closely with our Postpartum Doula, Taylor as well. We feel very lucky to have had Taylor support us during our first few weeks home, particularly as we had a few unforeseen medical issues for mom arise. She was also knowledgeable, caring, and flexible to our needs and supportive of us in the transition to becoming parents. We don't know what we would have done without StorkATX, Savannah, and Taylor through our daughter's birth and supporting us as new parents. There are not enough words to speak highly enough of the overall care they provided, and overall quality of professionals who helped us during such a special time.

They worked diligently to find the right postpartum doula for our family, and boy did they! We love Christina-she is amazing. She is thoughtful, kind, and thorough. If we are lucky enough to add more children to our family in the future, we will definitely be asking for Christina again!
