They give a red sauce and green sauce to go with your taco - red is spicy, green is mild. Pro-tip: adding cheese to your breakfast taco is an extra $0.50. I also hear their street tacos are really good, so I'm looking forward to trying those someday. Prices are cheap and super reasonable, less than $3 for a breakfast taco. Ordered a hippo breakfast taco with the beef fajita addition and...Oh. My. Goodness. It was amazing. I was a bit skeptical at first thinking that beef fajitas would be too heavy for breakfast. But it went so well with the eggs, and of course it's not beef fajitas without the sautéed veggies. If you didn't think eggs, beef fajita meat, and sauteed veggies was enough, it's not a hippo if it doesn't come with bacon and potatoes. So this taco is by definition, "all of the above." The salsa complemented everything so well, I'm still dreaming about this taco. It's a little more pricey than your standard breakfast taco, but the beef fajita addition is definitely worth the extra cost. Consider this brunch, because you probably won't be eating a lunch after having one of these.

In fact, it's been several years since I've been there. After our long road trip we woke up the next morning and came here for breakfast. Our waitress was extremely kind and took our orders quickly, filled our coffee regularly, and made sure we had more than enough green sauce for our food. The food came out quickly and was very good. I ordered the Hippo in a bowl (no tortilla). Very tasty, and the green sauce was just the right amount of heat to it. It's a very clean restaurant with plenty of seating, and I would highly recommend it.
