This location on Stockdale in the Riverwalk has always been sparsely stocked and has a paltry men's and children's departments. She tried on the size 7 on display and loved them so she told Teresa to grab her the 7 from the back so she could purchase them but Teresa grabbed an 8.5 instead. They rang her up and she ended up purchasing the wrong size. My mom tried them on and was walking around but she noticed they were huge on her, she then realized they gave her the wrong size shoe. I called ahead and told the situation to Marina the "manager" and she said to bring them on in and she could take care of it. Shortly after I bring them in and they said the shoes were wrecked and they couldn't do anything about it. I wasn't happy because the shoes were in perfect condition and they were just blaming my mom the whole time. she got a second opinion from Henry and then Henry "tried" cleaning them and said that he couldn't get the scuffs out. so they suggested for me to take them to a shoe cleaning service in the middle of the mall. Mind you the shoes were in perfect condition according to the shoe cleaner people but I had to pay to get them cleaned for nothing just so they could see that I got something done to them. After that I took them back to Marina and that's when she finally refunded me the money . While all of that was happening,Teresa was laughing behind Marina. They did not take any accountability and were blaming my mom for not realizing the shoes were too big on her . They basically made me pay for perfect condition shoes to get cleaned so they could resell them. I asked for all their names and for it to be written on paper and they said they didn't have a pen, so I checked over the counter and sure enough pens in a stationary holder with post it notes. Very rude customer service. DO BETTER, hire people who are people friendly or have better training! THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN 0 STARS
