In April of 2026, autopay for my subscription was $23. Not quite a month later in May, I was charged $29. Now, $6 may not seem like much, but to someone on Social Security, that is a 26.1% increase in cost. If you don't think that's bad, if gas was $3.65/gallon, it would be $4.60/gallon with a 26.1% increase, and everyone would be screaming. While I really enjoy reading a newspaper, I guess I will have to get my news from TV. Time to cancel my subscription!

Despite numerous conversations with subscription services and many promises for improvement, it just kept getting worse. Only two deliveries in the past two weeks! Today we finally cancelled. We'll only get the electronic version. Funny, they will charge our credit card within 24 hours, but it will take 4-6 weeks to receive credit for the tactile version. (Great for untrained pets and bird cages!)

Had home delivery of the Wall Street Journal starting in May 2021 for one year. 30 months later…read more(Nov 2023) I had still not gotten the one year of papers delivered that I paid for. Delivery was sporadic, never sure if or when I would get a paper. Signed up again last week after agent said deliery problems had been resolved. So far, I have not gotten 2 of the 7 issues I was supposed to get on my new subslcription. Delivery person is the same unreliable person we had before. Delivers when she feels like it. WSJ will not refund my $279 payment for the year, says it will extend my delivery one day each time I call about non-delivery. I don't need the stress of dealing with this horrible delivery person for another 2 1/2 - 3 years. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR HOME DELIVERY OF THE WALL STREET JOURNAL IN WORCESTER COUNTY. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE.
