Came here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The service was bad. No hello, or thank you. The guy taking orders didn't say a word. For the prices they charge, it's definitely not worth it - a medium corn in a cup is $5, but you have to prepare and assemble your own corn. They hand you the corn plain and they have all the ingredients out on the side which sucks because people gather around and crowd up as everyone is getting what they need. This place doesn't look like much, and I am actually used to the roaster being on the other side! The roaster is right up against the Fiesta grocery store on the side of the liquor store. I like how I see Jose pull the corns out of the roaster RIGHT then and there when you order, and he cuts it for you to put in the cup and I like how you can make your own combo with the condiments that he has sitting out. I DO NOT LIKE the area that it is in, though. While I was waiting in line, there was a homeless man or a panhandler literally with his hand out for money,quoting bible verse in this really hushed and aggressive tone! It was kind of scary because he was straight up STARING. BEST. CORN. EVER. My parents have been getting corn from here for the past 20-25 years. I've been having Jose's corn since I was literally a child, and always got excited when we were going to fiesta (the stand was always right next to fiesta). It's delicious, it's FRESH! Not canned corn! They use Actual corn that they toast and cut off the cob. They only accept cash. Which is inconvenient, but there's a Wells Fargo atm machine in the same parking lot--not too bad.
