It's located at this Fiesta and the corn is a real feast-a.

So let me tell a story about a girl named BAE I was at a strip club (she works there by the WAY) She was dancing to Offspring's Come Out And PLAY And How To Save A Life by the god damn FRAY She looks so good, all the boys start to PRAY Little do they know they're just her PREY And when she does that move where she drops and does the SPLAY She makes every patron give their money aWAY She leaves the stage and leaves the men in disarRAY She rocks my world, on stage she can SLAY And I wanna get her dinner cuz it's her bDAY I say I'll take her anywhere, however far aWAY But I already know what my Bae's gonna SAY So we go out for a dinner SOIREE And go up to Spring on Sam Houston BELTWAY To get some roasted corn from a man named JOSE! WHAT! I never really had Mexican roasted corn - not authentic anyway - and I never really wanted it... until I came here and realized how spectacularly good it could be. If you're more interested in Biblical Stories or Passover Sacrifice, go instead to Jose's Roasted Firstborn. Barbi has been raving about the carts and stands back in old Mexico for years, but it wasn't until Jose rocked my world with his cup of fresh roasted perfection, with the spicy topping and butter and all the good stuff piled on top (self service), that I became fully aware of its paradisical potential. If you really didn't like the Twilight Saga, go instead to Jose's Roasted Breaking Dawn. There's a reason why some of these reviews are off the charts and seem completely exaggerated. It's because the amazing taste here is so exaggerated. As in, it's so much better than you can imagine. If you prefer older actors, go instead to Jose's Roasted Rip Torn. It's just so perfect. It's probably the best corn-related product I've ever eaten, and if you put all the spices and toppings on there, you'll be left with one of the best snack meals you can get in all of Texas. All here, right here, from a little truck parked on the side of a Fiesta in the middle of the north suburbs of Houston. And if you prefer to be hairless down there, go instead to Jose's Roasted Shorn. As in scrotum. It just simply doesn't get any better than this. Come here and enjoy the very best Mexican corn you will ever eat. And if it's a movie that Barbi and I are shooting, it's probably Jose's Roasted Porn. We were in area and found this through map search of Yelp! Don't usually do food trucks, even from 'food truck capital' (Portland, OR), but wanted a local snack while on way to airport. Saw the line and hoped for the best...and pleasantly surprised! Saw how the 'corn master at work', the corn was being roasted by the cob and then quickly shucked and shaved off to be filled by the cupful. Never tried this, so followed the buyer before to add condiments (mayo, sour cream, butter, spices) that were provided in the side of truck. Only did 1/2 recommendation, with a small size (so spoonful/squirt of each) Added some lemon and the result if a tangy, creamy mix that didn't take aways from the sweet roasted corn Definitely a good try if Texan roasted corn!

I've been going here since years years ago!! And I still am even though I'm 45 minutes away from Jose's elote truck! Their small cup use to be $3 but now it's $5 for a small cup of corn! It's CASH ONLY so make sure to bring some paper greens with you! They have other items they offer but my main go to order is their corn. You can add whatever they have on their counter to make it to your liking and I lloveeee it

My boyfriend picked me up a late night quesadilla and taco from this food truck, and what was suppose to be just a midnight snack is now my lunch for tomorrow too. I was very happy with the portion size, especially seeing how much meat they can stuff in that little taco. Flavor wise, I wasn't in love with this place and found the steak to be way better than the el pastor. - Corn Taco Bisteck (4/5): Can't go wrong with a $2 steak taco. The flavor of the steak was good and it was pretty juicy. I wish there was maybe a bit more crisp on the meat and tortilla. - Quesadilla (12 inch) Trompo (3.5/5): Overall, I found the quesadilla tasty, but I didn't really like the trompo. I didn't think it was as flavorful as other el pastors I've had and it just kinda tasted salty. Also, like the taco, I felt like texturally everything was kinda dull. I wish the tortilla had more of a crisp form being charred but it felt a bit soggy and soft for me. (Keep in mind that it did take around 9 minutes from me getting the food to eating it)

In the current national food truck frenzy, you'll often hear that Houston is privy to a burgeoning…read morenew fleet of trucks. And, to be sure, the quality and quantity of trucks that have popped up in the last year is astounding - that is, insofar as the challah roll and truffle oil types go. But really, those are only a small percentage of Houston's mobile food fleet: when it comes to taco trucks, Houston wrote the book. To that end, I decided, "Enough with following the aioli trucks on Twitter, I'm gonna pull over at that shady pollo asado truck I see parked on 249." And so I did, at La Norteñita. The small, yellow truck has a couple of cartoonish chickens painted on the sides, so, in passing, I thought I might be in for something along the lines of Pollo Campero or Pollo Loco. The worn trailer housed a stern faced proprietor, who seemed about as confused as the few patrons seated at nearby picnic tables were that a bolillo like me was stepping up. Spanish is exclusively spoken here, and not wanting to put the cook through the hassle of listing off his menu (which I didn't see posted), I just shot from the hip and got three chicken tacos on corn tortillas, with onion and cilantro - a pretty standard taco truck order. The chicken was excellent, chopped up from a whole, rotisserie style chicken. This meant that one of my tacos did have a couple of cartilaginous bites from the rough hewn bird, but it was tender and juicy with savory but not overwhelming spices. The fresh chopped onion and cilantro are the perfect compliment, and a sizable tub of spicy green tomatillo sauce was thrown in the bag, which I liberally applied to these delicious tacos. $4.50 for 3 amply stuffed chicken tacos, que bueno. This is definitely a working class truck of the sort that puts H's in the wrong place, for example, on "abierto" but not on "hamburguesa." But these trucks are really Houston's heritage, catering to local painters and carpenters and the occasional gringo like me, serving up delicious, homemade tacos and tortas. I like a delicately fried avocado taco with cilantro slaw as much as the next guy, but in the maelstrom of new gourmet mobile eateries, don't forget about the hard working veterans, and don't be afraid to take a chance.
