My friend referred me to this shop for everything from a standard oil change to an engine overhaul…read more I went today for an oil change and was met by Guillermo who quickly proceeded to work on my car while I waited. He also performed the inspection on the vehicle to determine some underlying problems that needed to be remedied for my own safety. I had no idea! Because I drive a lot, I don't always change my oil at the same location. So I was shocked that after visiting four previous auto repair facilities, this was the first one to take the time to raise my vehicle and advised me that my lower control arm and axle assembly were broken and malfunctioning. This attention to detail as well as good customer service skills is what good business is all about! I'm certainly making sure that I continue to have my car serviced here.

I got a new injector for my engine. I was really happy to meet the Mechanic Victor and Charles (cat) at the auto shop. He gave me a good price for the diagnostic and the labor+parts. He's also a bell local and has been in the business for 27 years. Buenos precios y servicio. Como clienta me siente muy satisfecha con la experiencia y el servicio rápido. Don Chuy took great care of my mom's car and made the entire experience stress-free. What we…read moreinitially thought was a tire issue turned out to be something simple that was easily fixed by adding air. My mother is elderly and lives a bit far from me, so finding someone she can truly trust is very important to our family. Don Chuy also helped her resolve an issue with her brake light, which we later learned is a known problem. His honesty, patience, and willingness to help were very much appreciated. I'll definitely be bringing my mom's car back here as needed and will be happy to continue recommending and reviewing their service.

I explained the problem, but the gentleman simply added air, charged me $5, and told me he didn't see anything. He said to drive around and see what happened. From what I saw, he never checked the tire for a leak. I went to another tire shop, and they found a big screw in my front passenger tire. They repaired it, and the tire pressure warning light went off. My frustration isn't just about the $5. I came in for help with a tire that was losing air, and I left with the same problem. If he couldn't check it or didn't have time, I wish he had communicated that upfront. Instead, I wasted time and money and still had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Very disappointing service.

To make matters worse a vehicle from the same brand of my car was paying for a service and leaving that shop as I was arriving. Not sure if it's discrimination or jealousy and envy but I used to bring these people all of my work trucks whenever they needed a service, due to them being so nearby. I will no longer be bringing any of my vehicles here and I will tell my family and friends that used to come here to no longer support this business. Very unhappy and unsatisfied with being lied to and having my time wasted.

Well, where does a man begin. This is a wordy review because it is due after 6 ish years of their…read morework and I have yet to write one. Sit down, grab a coffee and read.  :) About 6 years ago, I drove by their shop while working, saw a bunch of lifted big boy trucks parked along side of the street, flipped a u-turn and stopped in to get a quote on lifting my jeep.  Turns out that 3 of the trucks in the street were actually their own. Now we're talking, a shop that lives what they do, Perfect!  Rudy Senior the shop owner let me leave it, I flew to enjoy a trip to Ecuador and when I retuned 5 days later it was done AND correctly done. I am meticulous about paying for anything that has more of an explanation than a expected finish. Many shops can throw a lift on a truck or replace a part and hope it repairs the issue, but this guy Rudy Sr loves the challenge of diagnosing issues that others can't.  Also the way the shop is laid out, their work is mostly done in an open area, exposed to all, so they are totally transparent.  Show me another shop that lets you see them working on your car!  I liked that about Rudy's Automotive, you see what they're doing wile they explain what you need. I live in HB, the traffic and distance is a nightmare to Lynwood but every time I need something fixed, it's worth the trip. It might be called Rudy's Automotive & Radiator, but they do EVERYTHING.  The entire family grew up in the Off-Road arena so what more knowledge could you ask for?  What I've seen, is they treat everyone like family and you begin bonding with them as friends. I feel like family now!. These guys hustle, they get'r done and they get'r done right.  Rudy Junior has now become a very popular lift installer / fabricator and off road repair / mod 'department' for lack of a better term.  Rudy Sr tackles all trouble shooting, diagnostics, head scratching issues, and his mechanic's work in all weather conditions, non stop. Rudy Jr is 'always' doing some sort of special mod for an off-roader, street pretty, new or old, truck or jeep.  Check his Instagram out to see the many. He posts many jobs just to show the public.  His is: greasemonkey3390 and his Pops Rudy Sr or the shop is: highcoreoffroad. That's right, I'm plugging them, but not with their knowledge, they just deserve it. Attached are only a few photos of my jobs since meeting them, nothing was done all at once, photos are over time, years. (Yelp won't let me put them in order) 1) Jeep YJ- Re-gearing to 456s, Tranny repair, clutch replacement, ( I beat my jeep hard ) , steering repair, later steering upgraded, track bars etc, 8.8 conversion to the rear install, reverse shackle kit front, add a leaf front,  OX locker install front, normal brake jobs, oil changes, tune ups. I have had them do it all.  2) Chevy Silverado, upper control arm conversion to Cognito.  All ideas from Rudy Jr and wow, what a beautiful upgrade. He powder coated white, the emblem black, Jr fabricated track bars, powdered white with "Highcore" emblem black, looks great. Brake jobs, oil pump replacement, tuneups, Rudy junior is so meticulous that he truly thinks if he wouldn't do it to his he won't do it to yours. Oh, and this man can throw a weld bead like no one I know! I'm posting what I have, but I have lost many photos over the years.  Take your truck, car, jeep, even your "Razor" and they know what to do. Thanks Rudy Sr and Rudy Jr, for being good mechanics, a trustworthy shop that has now grown into truly being a couple of great friends! It's all about Quality Personalities, and Quality Work !
