It is time to finally write a review. My older children, 17 and 20 finally phased out of this…read morepractice after receiving amazing care since they were babies. My 8 year old has been going since she was a baby as well and will be surely getting braces here in a few more years. My youngest has had an oral surgery at this office (when she was 4) and I cannot tell you how amazing they were. They assured her safety, and were extremely cautious and careful when treating her. I could tell they were not taking unecessary risks when they had an anesthialogist come in to administer and oversee my daughter during the entire process. This practice is a well oiled machine. Everything they do is for the children they serve. They are kind, patient, reassuring, fun, and compassionate. You can tell that Dr. Andy only hires the best and those who meet his mission of providing amazing care to his child patients. The rates are a bit higher for braces, I am told, but ultimately, for us, we don't mind paying a bit more for continued care and with a dentist and staff my children were already familiar with. They explain all of their procedures and processes. Their billing process is clear and upfront. They answer their phones when you call to pay your bill. They always return calls promptly. They deal with your insurance company so you don't have to. They send reminders about appointments. They have a child friendly waiting room, an open bay where children are being treated, which promotes a sense of calmness with children as they see other kiddos getting worked on. They have prizes and special programs throughout the year. Dr. Kapust himself is a kind dentist who has a wonderful manner with children. He is kind and explains himself to them and uses kid friendly terms so they don't become scared, "wiggle teeth out" instead of pull......"happy air" instead of gas.....etc. He is also involved in the community and cares about his patients, their families, and the community. His staff are amazing as well. I have never encountered an unfriendly employee. I was very touched when, while my daughter was having two tooth extractions yesterday, I observed one of the dental assistants put her hand on my daughter's arm and hold it there in a comforting manner so my daughter would feel at ease while lying in the chair. I wish I could remember her name, because she was a shining star in this mama's eyes. I was sitting at the end of the chair and couldn't get up there as I would be in the way, so I was very happy to see her comforting my child in a genuine and unforced way. You can tell she loves her job and her patients. Most employees have been there for a long time. It is a testament to the business Dr. Andy runs, there isn't a lot of turnover, and you actually get to know all of the employees. Shout out to Bonnie, Amanda, and Dione....... :) The only thing that is tough for me at times, is, because they are so popular.... they have a lot of patients , so you can have an extended wait time past your appointment from time to time, which is tough for me as a working parent. AND, if you have to cancel an appt, it is very tough to reschedule for a time close to your original appt...you usually have to wait several weeks or more. This is the only frustrating aspect for me as a parent, but I cannot blame other parents for bringing their children here causing Dr. Kapust to have a thriving practice. Regardless of my crazy shift work schedule, they have found a way to work with me. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist, look no further.

Dr. Andy and his team are amazing. We first came because we needed to change orthodontists in…read morebetween phases, so I was hesitant... but everyone here jumped in to help us feel right at home. Now that we're on our 4th kid in braces, I can completely assure you the care here is the best around. The ladies at the front desk greet us by name, ask about our kids who aren't there for the visit, and just treat us like family. Dr. Kapust is second to none - and makes his practice a community business too! I'm always seeing his logo around town, sponsoring everything from community theater to concerts and local events. Kudos to all the staff at Dr. Kapust's office!

I have severe dental anxiety. Dr. Yahya was so kind to me. He listened without judgment and cares…read moreenough to figure out how to overcome fear of dental procedures with me. He walked me through the entire procedure and when I was frightened he stopped and explained what was happening so I could regain control. It wasn't the most fun thing in the world but his demeanor, chair side manor, and his dental assistant set me at ease. I'm extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Yahya. I strongly recommend him and the entire Willamette Team. Thank you, Amanda

STAY AWAY FROM WILLAMETTE DENTAL GROUP. I hope everyone…read morereading this avoids this place. I hope you tell other people to avoid it. I hope that so many people avoid it that it stops existing altogether. Willamette Dental Group is absolute trash. I went there January 31st. I told them, "My teeth hurt." I found out I needed teeth taken out of my head. IT'S APRIL 17TH. THE TEETH ARE STILL IN MY HEAD. The amount of pain I deal with goes up and down randomly but the last week or so it's been awful. I haven't used the left side of my mouth in months. They've moved appointments, canceled appointments, they somehow got it in there head that I wanted a referral, to a dentist I would need to pay $600 dollars to? Because of my insurance I literally have to use this trash company. I called their "emergency" line today, I couldn't sleep last night, and they are prescribing me antibiotics because they think there is an infection now. An infection that wouldn't exist...... If they could muster just mediocre competence. But this is Willamette Dental Group.
