Unfortunately, I was not happy with the length of my appointment (I was there almost 1.5 hrs for a cut/style) or quality of my haircut. My layers weren't blended well and created a lot of extra weight near my cheekbone on one side. I have slightly wavy hair (between 1c and 2a on a good day) and I mentioned that I prefer a low-maintenance cut. I did have to get this fixed elsewhere several weeks later to confidently wear my hair down again. Photos are from 3 days and about 3 weeks after the haircut. Instead of respecting that, he argued back and launched into a speech about his 30+ years as an owner. He also blamed a staff member named Julia for "posting this Groupon" and complained that he "wasn't even supposed to take this deal" -- again, not my problem as a customer. Throughout the appointment he sighed, dropped things, and tried to force conversation after I politely asked for quiet. I originally came in asking questions about going to him for highlights because I thought the salon looked cute. Unfortunately, my service with him was the most horrific experience I've ever had at a salon. I will not be coming back. Read the room -- not every customer wants to be chatty or needs to explain their reasons for not talking. Someone who's "been in the business for years" should know that.
