Everything started out fine. I went in for a first-time appointment/evaluation. The doctor(s) were…read morepleasant and informative. I was feeling positive about them being able to help. Then the problems began. As I was leaving they promised me they would call me with information that I needed to run the treatment scenario by my insurance. On my way out I also requested that they email me so I would know for sure the proper email to use. I received no such email but I did then proactively email them information that they had requested to their business email. A few weeks went by; no phone call; no email; no communication whatsoever from them. Then, a few months later, I called. The person on the phone didn't acknowledge that I had sent the information I requested. They stated that no such information from me had been received. They also didn't acknowledge their promise to me to provide me the codes so that I could exercise my due diligence and run everything by my insurance. The pleasant (I am being ironic, she was rude) woman I spoke with told me that they were still waiting for information from me. I then informed the pleasant woman that I had the information they needed and requested - again - for them/her to email me so that I could respond with the information they said they needed. (Remember, my prior email was ignored - or never received maybe?) The woman I was speaking to laughed at me derisively for requesting that she be bothered (not an exaggeration, it was a literal "guffaw") with proactively emailing a potential customer. I didn't respond to her disrespectful tone or haughty, derisive laugh and pleasantly requested again that she email me first. She said, essentially, "sure, whatever." (Paraphrasing.) I did not react to the provocations of the receptionist/admin since I did really like the doctors. Of course you know the end of the story. The boss - pardon me, I mean the admin - did not email me. Maybe she's an undercover billionaire boss who runs the practice for fun and not profit; and she doesn't do things for lowly customers. Who knows, regardless, that's what happened. I wasted almost $200 out of pocket (my co-pay), drove quite a ways from my home, and had the pleasure of being disrespected multiple times. I am glad, however, that the admin felt powerful and got joy by being an mischievous gatekeeper. Low quality people enjoy abusing their power. Bottom line, if you can get past reception without losing your cool and get to the doctors (who are actually very pleasant and professional) you might consider this place. But if you are not a masochist then maybe consider a place where the staff CAN be bothered to be nice, professional, and considerate.

It was black and blue. It gets better, I got four put in my mouth all in the front. Why did he see my mouth from my left jaw to my right jaw? He stitched my inner cheeks and the inside of my lip to my gums. I couldn't eat for 2 weeks. Than I got an infection and one he didn't sew up right it was exposed. I went back another dentist was there he said he wouldn't even touch me with a ten foot pole to receptionist. I heard him from the other room. He said he can't fix that screw up job. So the receptionist and the hygienist came in and said everything looks good sent me home. I came back when dr gross was there he said it's supposed to be this way. But when he first looked in my mouth his jaw dropped and his eyes got big. Yea it's supposed to look this way my a$&. I came back a week later dr gross took the 2000 sutures out. I couldn't feel my bottom lip. Until today a year later I still can't feel part of it and it hurts when it gets cold out. That bas$@&$ hit a nerve. I went to another dentist he told me he don't know what the hell doctor no nothing did to me and he said they did go through a nerve in my gum and I will never get the feeling back in my lip. So the new dentist did the top implants guess what he didn't even need to put sutures in. I was hesitant to go for the tops because the awful experience I had with Main Street dental. I went home that day and ate chicken franchise after I just had tops done. Than to find out Main Street used two different kinds of implants. He used what he had left over from another patient and charged. When it's done right it's supposed to be all the same implants. My knee dentist took X-rays of my bottom and said one is slanted. I can't do anything about it because if he tries to remove it it can fracture my jaw because dr no nothing put it so close to my jaw. I should have never went to sleep at Main Street because I woke up to a deformed mouth. Now I have to go back into surgery to cut my cheeks and lip away from my gums. He didn't have to see me from one end of my jaw to the other end. In my records that I requested said he only put four small sutures on each implant. If you can see the pictures you would drop to your knees. I lost 14 pounds because he did this to me I was 115 down to 101 pounds. My daughter called them screaming asking them what they did to me because she works for a dentist that does implants and she never seen such a mess. I could not go there because they didn't take my insurance. As the devil may have it. Well karma is sweet. He will be sorry he did this to me . I am letting everyone that will listen know what kind of practice this is. Please don't go there. Your risking your health. My son went there they did a cleaning without X-rays he went to my knew dentist he said it looks like he didn't even have them cleaned a week later he went to my new dentist. People should not be able to practice dentistry or medical if they where fired from another office. Yes I found that out after the damage was done. So doctor Flores covered up dr Mai screw up. He mentally messed me up I went into depression because of this.

I left the office shaken and afraid, and filled with misinformation about my dental situation, which my new dentist has debunked. I was so uncomfortable about going back that I never retuned. 3. They told me I had cavities that my new dentist says I do not have. He showed me the X-ray. They're not there. 4. Every time went, I saw a new dentist. For some reason its clinic-style, so you never see the same person twice. 5. In my whole life I've never had fillings fall out, only from this place. It's a disgrace that Medicaid dental options are this bad in the Hudson Valley--low-income people do not deserve poor health care just because they're poor. The office itself is depressing, old, dirty, and grimy. Actually can't believe this place exists. Like a nightmare you might have about a "bad dentist office." This review is for their Poughkeepsie office, they have a few spots, and neither Dr. Gross nor Dr. Flores was ever at this place when I've been there. As a child my mom would take us kids to a dentist who must have had a secret love for causing pain. He would drill my cavities without the use of Novocaine. He probably didn't have a pain fetish but, he was definitely too cheap and in too much of a hurry to bother with numbing teeth before drilling them. Needless to say, going to the dentist must have been a hidden fear of mine considering that I have been to the dentist 5 times in 25 years. Thanks to Aspen Dental I have now visited the dentist 12 times in 2 1/2 years. The free exam and x-rays were a nice surprise but, not compared to the pleasant and cheerful staff. Everybody treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable. The dentist who did the exam made sure that it was painless and explained, in detail, in a way I was able to understand exactly what my teeth needed. The staff up front did a great job finding a finance option that suited me. Not once did I feel embarrassed about my condition, all of my questions were answered and explained thoroughly and their knowledge of dentistry was impressive. My teeth are now in good condition and I look forward to my appointments thanks to the great staff at Aspen Dental.

They did not abide by the in-network charges that they were contracted by our insurance companies. They LIE and STEAL from people who don't know about insurance coverage, check your EOBs!!!. Refused to continue speaking to my wife, who is on my HIPAA form, because she questioned their billing. They didn't like that she was on to them and knew what she was talking about. Overcharged us $2000 plus which we will be continuing to fight for a refund. We will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. A few weeks ago I visited a dentist and was told I needed a number of things done - 11 cavities, 1 crown, a night guard (even though I told this dentist that I didn't grind my teeth, nor did I preference one side while chewing), as well as a deep gum cleaning. The total charge out of pocket was going to be 4k after my insurance. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Gasperini. Dr. Gasperini was so kind and gentle and explained everything that he was going to do before doing it. I never had any of those awkward moments where my mouth was left open needlessly. Very aware of the comfort level of his patients. In the end, Dr. Gasperini told me I needed only one filling! Only one filling! I trust this doctor completely, and have found my new dentist.
