I've been going to Dr. Chris since maybe 2007 or so and have always had a good experience. In the past they sometimes hired other dentists who weren't as good, but has mostly been Dr. Chris (and on rare occassion his dad who still chips in now and then) for the past decade. Some of the lower reviews are about front of the office staff, which I vaguely recall being a bit gruff, 10+ years ago but everyone the past few years have been lovely. I have had two root canals (hey I'm 40 such is life) and one was done excellently by Dr. Chris during 2020 in COVID. He did a great job relieving the pain I had been in for a few months. Anyway, highly recommend this practice 10 out of 10 for the last decade or so. read more

My family and I have been coming to this dental office for over 7 years, and the consistency of care has been outstanding. There was a time when I didn't have dental insurance and needed a crown replaced--Dr. Chris went above and beyond to help me, offering a fair and reasonable solution without compromising quality. His kindness, honesty, and steady professionalism truly set him apart. As someone who gets a little anxious in the dental chair, I can honestly say Dr. Chris has earned my full trust. He's gentle, patient, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that puts you at ease. I've recommended this office to friends and family, and I'll continue to do so for years to come. It's rare to find a dentist who's not only skilled but genuinely cares--this office checks every box! read more

If I could give 0 starts I would in a heart beat. I would not allow this doctor to work on my dogs teeth he is that bad. This is one of the worst offices I have been been to. Not only is it completely disgusting but the least organized office I have ever seen. I don't understand why his staff still have jobs and how this doctor can operate a business like this. I have been in multiple medical offices and you always see a clean environment, well that's not what you will find when you come here. They don't have hand sanitizer anywhere and you will never see any staff members wash their hands, EVER!! They don't have a cleaning services so god knows how long its been since that office was swept and mopped or sanitized. Its disgusting, covered with mouse poop and dust. The doctor is too cheap to even buy tissues for this own staff and patients. I hope the Department of Health gets called on them because he is going to make someone sick if it continues the way he is going. I have read more bad reviews stating the same things and I can't agree with all of the negative comments because they are absolutely true!! read more

I'll start from the beginning. Arrived at the office 10 minutes early and the waiting room was empty. That's good, they called me right away to go in to the exam room. Told me they needed to take X-rays, even tho I asked if my prior periodontist in PA had sent them - they said they didn't get anything. The person doing the X-rays must have been new because she couldn't get the film right and eventually had to call for help. That person said the machine in "my" room wasn't the best but continued to proceed in taking them. Why didn't they move me to the other room where the Xray machine works???? After taking so many X-rays (a painful experience - when do X-rays hurt?) The Dr came in, introduced himself and then LEFT! A few minutes later he came back and poked around on all my teeth, calling out numbers (none of which made any sense to me). He then left the room again and when he came back he started talking about what needs to be done - again, nothing I understood other than he needs to remove 1 of my front teeth and will replace it with a porcelain one along with a bridge (to secure it in place?). I told him I needed an estimate for the work. He complied and I received it as I completed paying my bill -$265! The estimate showed $6900!! ($800 of the amount was for a "Bridge Upgrade" - whatever that is). I don't have dental insurance. I'm retired, living on SS and a small pension. Said I'd call them back for an appt if I wanted to proceed. Time to find another dentist :( - even if I have to pay more! NOT IMPRESSED with this one. read more

Our whole family gets exceptional care here. The front desk, insurance, and scheduling people are always helpful friendly and efficient. I had a cleaning today by Amanda and it was so comfortable and thorough. Both Dr. Chris and his father spend whatever time is necessary answering your questions. We are very thankful to have such a professional and capable office in our area. read more

What a bad first impression. This front desk person was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was running only 10 mins late, so i decided to call to let them know, she was angry, and said the dentist won't wait. I told Her but I am on my way, and I left work early can you give me a courtesy ? She said no, just reschedule. As she was telling me this, she had the worst Attitude! So I told Her no, that's okay, I can go else where! She said FINE AND HUNG UP!!! read more

I love this place! I have suffered from dental phobia for years because of various BAD experiences with dentists. I no longer have a fear of dentists because this practice has the best dentists. Kim the hygienist is GREAT! My teeth feel wonderful when I leave MHD. Sincerely, Laura DeHay read more

Dr. Chris is exceptional and I wouldn't go to any other dentist. He's the best at pain free visits as he's a magician with the needle and drill. It's a true blessing to know you have a great dentist that eliminates any fear of going. read more

I'm very disappointed with the front desk staff of this office. To be told that you'll be put on a "list" if you should ever miss or try to reschedule an appointment with out giving them 24 or more hours notice more than once, then being threatened even further by saying I will be penalized if I do, is unprofessional. To have this scene play out in the waiting room in front of a room full of patients is disgusting. I work in a hospital that offers out patient services every day. We never tell a patient they'll be penalized if they reschedule less than 24hrs and if they arrive late we still accommodate them. Most of all we certainly do not argue with them in the waiting room in front of the other patients. This same front desk staff member has also accused my husband of lying about an appointment confirmation. This is not customer service. There are many other dental offices that are opening and are eager to accommodate and appreciate my being a patient of theirs. Now when I return to work I can begin letting the 350+ employees (and their families) know where NOT to go for their dental needs. read more

A few years ago I went in for a deep cleaning; the hygienist was extremely rough and although I complained several times that she was hurting me, she continued without offering pain injections. The pain was so bad that I had to ask her to stop; but, she just ignored me. Finally I couldn't take the pain any longer, it felt like the nerves in my teeth were exploding but she insisted I let her finish. I literally had to push her arm away. I said, "I'll make another appointment so you can finish, I just can't endure anymore of this pain today." She became angry and rude was; she said I stopped her from doing her job. I made a new appointment and received a confirmation call the day prior. When I arrived I was kept waiting over one hour before someone came out to tell me to say that I did not have an appointment and that no one called the day before to confirm. I'm sure that the hygienist was hoping that if left waiting long enough I would just leave. So I made another appointment and when i returned two weeks later she wouldn't treat me. I was assigned to a different hygienist gave me no less than five injections to clean the few remaining teeth. It was painfully obvious that the first hygienist had branded me a difficult and problematic patient warranting the overuse of novocaine. I was very upset and should have gone directly to Dr. Chris who is a wonderful dentjst. I highly recommend him. My advice is if you're ever mistreated by staff let Dr. Chris know. read more

My name is Allie and my hygienist Tina always makes me feel comfortable and explains all necessary home care for future dental health

The dentists in this practice are fantastic and the dental hygienists are amazing. However, the front desk staff is unprofessional, incompetent, and extremely rude. They don't apologize for their mistakes and they talk about patients. I would not recommend going there purely because of them! read more
