I would strongly discourage anyone from using United Heating and Plumbing…read more We had our entire HVAC system replaced less than three years ago, and the ac unit has already broken down four different times. A system this new should not be failing repeatedly. The last time the owner, Matt, came out to repair it in April, we told him we were concerned that the air conditioner itself might be defective because of the constant problems. He told us to "trust him," reminded us that he owns the company, and assured us that if anything happened, he would come back out and take care of it. My husband believed him as he had been great to work with up until this point. Now, just a few months later, our HVAC has been broken for over a week. Despite the system still being under the warranty we were told the company provides, we cannot get anyone to respond. We have called and texted all three phone numbers we have for the company multiple times and have received no response. When you spend thousands of dollars on a new HVAC system, you expect reliable equipment and a company that stands behind its work. Instead, we've dealt with repeated breakdowns, unfulfilled promises, and now complete silence when we need warranty service. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend United Heating and Plumbing.

I called him in and he admitted it was likely a mistake they had made installing and it created a small leak. He recharged the system so we had AC while he could schedule us for the repair. Weeks went by. I talked to him and he said he'd call me that evening when he got home to schedule. That never happened. He is now blocking my calls. While he was a good price an very pleasant to work with he has now proven that he does not back his work. WARNING to all. In my mind the highest value is how well the company backs their work and products. Very disappointed.

We couldn't be more pleased with Master Plumber Bruce Hardy! He got a lot done in a short amount of…read moretime and all by himself. He's very thorough and showed and explained things before and after he worked on something. And he cleaned up so well after he finished, that we couldn't even tell that he was here except that everything was fixed and actually cleaner than before he started working. LOL! He also made us aware that our water heater is too big to take through the doorway if it ever needs to be replaced, and that a wall would have to come down to get it out. It's something a contractor did 10 years ago when he constructed a kitchen near it and didn't consider the water heater size that he was closing in. Because of Bruce, we are preparing ahead of a possible water heater outage and demolition emergency to get the wall knocked out and rebuilt. Thank you, Bruce, for everything! You're amazing!

They had budgeted 1 1/2 hours, but they couldn't stay for the 2-3 hours the job would require, as they had another stop. Okey Dokey. There was also mold up under the sink as a result of the leak. I talked to Peggy (I think), and they could possibly get back to me on Friday or next Monday. Great, that gave me time to get the mold cleaned out. NEVER A CALL BACK.
