I would strongly discourage anyone from using United Heating and Plumbing…read more We had our entire HVAC system replaced less than three years ago, and the ac unit has already broken down four different times. A system this new should not be failing repeatedly. The last time the owner, Matt, came out to repair it in April, we told him we were concerned that the air conditioner itself might be defective because of the constant problems. He told us to "trust him," reminded us that he owns the company, and assured us that if anything happened, he would come back out and take care of it. My husband believed him as he had been great to work with up until this point. Now, just a few months later, our HVAC has been broken for over a week. Despite the system still being under the warranty we were told the company provides, we cannot get anyone to respond. We have called and texted all three phone numbers we have for the company multiple times and have received no response. When you spend thousands of dollars on a new HVAC system, you expect reliable equipment and a company that stands behind its work. Instead, we've dealt with repeated breakdowns, unfulfilled promises, and now complete silence when we need warranty service. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend United Heating and Plumbing.

Updating my review. Matt came in a couple years ago and installed a full new HVAC system in my…read morehouse. This year I noticed that it wasn't as cold as it should be. I called him in and he admitted it was likely a mistake they had made installing and it created a small leak. He recharged the system so we had AC while he could schedule us for the repair. Weeks went by. I talked to him and he said he'd call me that evening when he got home to schedule. That never happened. He is now blocking my calls. While he was a good price an very pleasant to work with he has now proven that he does not back his work. WARNING to all. In my mind the highest value is how well the company backs their work and products. Very disappointed.

Great experience from start to finish! Set an appointment for Thursday, called in AM, showed up on…read moretime and communicated throughout - I needed a hot water heater installed and it ended up costing a little more than I was originally quoted, but the job was a little more difficult than expected and took more time. Rob was very knowledgeable, professional and his mentality of "Let's find a SOLUTION on how to make this work" (Main water line in front of water heater) instead of saying - oh I can't do this job (like Recker & Boerger's Water Heater Guy) - which from water heater delivery to install was 5 days with no solution, no help, no hot water - Rob was prompt and new hot water heater was installed two days after my initial call - the day the actual appointment was set and was completed in under two hours. I would definitely hire Flannigan Contractors again and highly recommend them for your plumbing and HVAC needs.

Not being a first time owner (though technically pretty useless still) I figured the water pressure might be too high. Sure enough it was over 80 so put a request into LMK. I'm not sure if it was overpriced but considering it's saving me a load of money in the future no complaints. I certainly see myself reaching out for future plumbing projects.

Called Josh and he came out the next day to assess the issues needing addressed. He gave me advice…read moreabout the whole home water softer, which apparently is clogged. We just bought the home in April of 2025 and the water softer was not running when we moved into the house. Once I turned it on, we lost all water pressure. Josh gave me an estimate to have it replaced. My wife did not feel it was needed. The 2nd issue was a faulty install of the previous owners to a hand held shower wand in the Master Bath. When turned on, it would run water into the basement. Josh had to cut a hole in the wall of the water closet to get to the issue, which was a gas pipe installed where a water pipe should have been installed, as an extension. The other issue was a slow drain in the kitchen. Josh and his brother snaked out the drain and found the previous owners had been dumping their grease down the drain. He got as much grease as he could with the snake and then dumped a bottle of Dawn Dishwashing liquid down the drain to break down the grease further down the drain system. Josh's price was extremely fair and I will use him for ALL my plumbing needs.
