The bolts loosen constantly and no amount of tightening will make them stay. The rotisserie falls apart and the food threatens constantly to fall off. The only way to find this out was to use it. My husband tried to return it today, Nov. 27, 5 days after purchase, but the Ace employees say they won't take it back because it is used. He had cleaned it up and re-boxed it for return. The Ace employees claim that Weber won't take it back. We bought the Weber barbecue this past May at the same Ace store to "shop locally". It didn't come with a rotisserie and you have to buy it separately. They are not standing behind what they sell. If Weber won't take it back because we found out that it is defective by using it, they don't stand behind their products either.

The staff eye you suspiciously and stand where they can watch you. If you try to make any sort of "please help me" body language they completely ignore you. The very INSTANT you touch anything they run up to you and interrupt you to ask if they can help. I have actually told them "I am trying to read and you're interrupting me" and had them reply "well I need to know if you need help" This is consistent. Not a one time thing. They're "help" is poorly disguised loss prevention that makes me feel disrespected and untrusted. I would rather warm up my car and drive 10 miles to pay 20% more than walk to this store. The last straw was having a premium product shoved down my throat when I asked for the economy product. They told me that they don't carry that product when I had just found it on the shelf. Worst shopping experience ever. Consistently. 100 times.

There selection of some key brands would put some of the big box retailers in envy. While not a lot of other options they have a good kitchen selection with some great brands. I was also impressed while it was scaled back because of being winter were the grills with key brands like Weber, Blackstone and Traeger. For being in a small mountain town on some key things I looked at didn't seem to be to our range in value and price. The good news on some of these brands they are MAP priced so it's the same price back in the city. Service was nice and employees were very friendly. My wife found a few home decor options and while we didn't buy much this wound be a destination for sure if you owned a place or an extended vacation. Of course not. There are lots of D&B stores ya mugs but this one is my favorite. It's the best of the crop. Don't believe me? Get in there, look around, chat up ANY of the staff, see for yourself. I buys a few gats, that's no secret. A few weeks back I buys a Ruger rifle here. Takes a week or…read moreso to get it cause it's a special order. Mama always said I was special. The rifle shows up, I pays for it and goes to see if it will go bang. It does a time or two then it pukes out it's own extractor. I brings it back to ACE and asks to get my money back. She says they don't do that and it says that right on my receipt. I can come in next week and talk to the manager if I want to or they'll mail the rifle to the idiots who built it at Ruger for me next week. (that means I have to pay for another background check if it ever comes back). This isn't something I picked up at a yard sale, it's a brand new Ruger rifle. I takes the POS to a local riflesmith, I bought it to shoot it after all, not have it in transit for days and days. He fixes it in one day for me, back I goes to the range where this Ruger junk pukes it's extractor again. My riflesmith says send it back to the factory it's got some serious problems. I decides that this Ruger like the previous Ruger I bought brand new is more useful as yard art than shooting ammo and determines I can cut it into pieces and weld it to a frame and hammer it in my front yard. The folks at The Oregon Trail Trader where I usually shop convince me they will send it back to Ruger, have it repaired etc. I does that. It came back today. I traded it to them, lost a bundle on magazines, ammo, scope, parts and accessories I had purchased for it. Here's the bottom line, If I had purchased it from The Trader they would have given my money back when I came back with it, or given me another rifle. No hassles about either. They absolutely would have resolved this defective gun immediately to my satisfaction. I've had that happen in the past here. Even Wal Mart will give your money back on junk you buy there if you take it back. Here's the real bottom line. If you're shopping for firearms go to The Oregon Trail Trader where Customer Service is the order of the day everyday. And if you're thinking about anything built by Ruger, just say NO!

A gentleman named Jake I stopped near the entrance and asked if he could help me as I had a dilemma that I hadn't been able to resolve on my own with a fancy shop vac I purchased there a few months back. He walked me over to the shop vacs & I pointed out the one I purchased and he walked me through the three areas on how to resolve my stalled situations on that model. Hands down the most polite and tolerant employee. But I've seen this with other employees there over these past 2 years or so. I feel we are so fortunate to have this business here and the management is doing a great job with employees chosen and the overall all staff attitudes and Top Notch Customer Service.
