Came in here yesterday just to check things out. Inside this looked like your typical Ace hardware but once you got a little deeper you realize how big this place is inside. There selection of some key brands would put some of the big box retailers in envy. While not a lot of other options they have a good kitchen selection with some great brands. I was also impressed while it was scaled back because of being winter were the grills with key brands like Weber, Blackstone and Traeger. For being in a small mountain town on some key things I looked at didn't seem to be to our range in value and price. The good news on some of these brands they are MAP priced so it's the same price back in the city. Service was nice and employees were very friendly. My wife found a few home decor options and while we didn't buy much this wound be a destination for sure if you owned a place or an extended vacation. Well-stocked hardware store, solid locksmith service, and great customer service. I have driven past May Hardware dozens of times over the years but after buying a cabin in Donnelly, May Hardware has been my go-to spot for all of my home supply and locksmith needs. read more

I'm done with May Hardware. Love the store, and went there to buy Christmas gifts today. A sign on the door said face masks are required. I am tripple vaccinated, but I'm done with mask virtue signaling. When the sign comes down I'll return, but not before. read more

I needed a few things for a repair and was happy with prices, customer service, and that they were enforcing customers wear masks while offering to shop and bring outside to those who didn't want to wear one. I appreciate they care for their employees and customers. Will definitely shop there again! read more

The Ace Hardware in McCall is the kind a hardware store you dream about. The staff there are extremely helpful. I was there earlier today with a challenge related to a screw for a door handle, and the locksmith custom cut down the screw for me while I was there. Sean is amazing. I managed to send my keys to the bottom of the lake on a Sunday afternoon. Sean was quick to answer my call and immediately had a solution for me. I was super surprised that he was able to make a new chipped key for my Ford F-150. Within an hour, I had a new set of keys, was able to get into my truck and back down into the lake to retrieve my boat from the lake. Top notch service, willing to explain everything that was going on and professional. I would recommend Sean and May Hardware any time. He saved my bacon so far from Seattle. read more

Called May's about locksmith services and had someone out the next day (non urgent). Re-keyed several locks and replaced a few locks and handles as well. Very nice. Great work. Fair price! Would highly recommend. read more
