Alan Amador of Joseph Allen's "Pro Dry" is the man to call. He is the sole proprietor, so be sure to reach him. He was referred by a colleague who built a custom Pacific Grove house. (She is a stickler so I know all her vendors must be Martha Stewart-good:) Alan was prompt and friendly. I have twice used his service. He cleaned the carpet in my Monterey apartment. I used him even though the property manager tried to convince me to use their guy, but I was not happy with the carpet's lack of cleanliness when I moved in, so why should I call him...and pay about $50 more? Alan also cleaned the carpet in the new condo I moved in to after I left the Monterey apartment. I was really busy both days, so I appreciated him being on time. Alan also returns texts promptly. Excellence and a professional service ethic is what Alan embodies. Call him to get the job done at a Diamond Certified level of quality at a great price. read more

Didn't snap a before photo, but my carpet turned out incredible! The carpet is quite old, plus I've had an issue with the cat who is living here deciding to pee all over this room. The smell is almost fully gone after one session, and the carpets look better than when I moved in! Fair pricing, quality results, and great service. read more

Joseph Allen's Pro Dry - Carpet Cleaning Near Me

I am amazed at how clean my carpets turned out. Had a plumbing leak and debris from contractors tracking in house left my carpets severely stained. My carpets are 20 years old and look like new. Pro Dry was in and out in a short time and and carpets were dry shortly after. I have had them steam cleaned several times but I assume some residual cleaning substance seemed to attract more dirt after completion. It's been a while now and carpets still look great. I will definitely use them from now on. Highly recommend!!!! read more

This is an owner operator business. They are very responsive, efficient and great value for money.

Joseph Allen was fast, professional, and incredibly attentive to detail. He did a great job of cleaning up the mess and residue left behind by the previous Stanley steamer carpet cleaners. He is very knowledgeable about different kinds of problems carpets can have and did a wonderful job in educating us about how to take care of ours. He was friendly, efficient, and thorough with every step. read more

SUPERB RESULTS! EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION! NON-TOXIC ALL THE WAY! Allen is a professional businessman who says what he does and does what he says! If you want your carpet cleaned impeccably well -- THE FIRST TIME -- in the most efficient possible way (he works FAST!) Allen's Pro Dry is your company. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and skill at cleaning FILTHY carpet using non-toxic ingredients. Still can't believe the stains he was able to disappear! He showed up on time and maximized ours by completing the job in a timely manner. The price was more than reasonable for the work. Needless to say, the crotchety landlords were so pleased during the walk-through, I got a kiss on the cheek afterwards. No doubt one of the best businesses to patronize on the Central Coast! 5 BIG FAT STARS for Allen's Pro Dry! read more

Would not recommend. After he came and charged $200 more than what he initially quoted there were still significant stains on the rugs. I went through with regular household rug cleaner and was able to easily get many of them out. There were other stains that we had discussed that he said he would try to get out but would not guarantee. He said he could probably get about 50% out. I agreed to that, however, they did not appear to have been touched at all. I was not able to be there when he did the rugs and didn't see them until a week later or I would not have paid him as I did in good faith that he had done his job. read more

***** I never write these things. However Joseph Allen's service is 5 star I've used him for over a year. He has a special now and then for 330 square feet for $79.00. I price checked other companies and some wanted as much as $300+. He does two plus rooms for me. It takes an hour +/- $79.00 AND its not carpet soaking sloppy wet when he's done. It's really really dry in a few hours. With other companies the carpets are wet for days - the carpets and floor can get naaaasty. Joseph is on time, professional yet polite. Super easy to talk to as well. Paul K. (Monterey) read more

I have used Joseph many times. He is prompt, a nice person and does an outstanding job. I would highly recommended him.

Using Pro Dry for years. Reliable, excellent service, removes the toughest of stains!

He did an excellent job with my couches and two area rugs. They were in bad shape too. He was on time, professional, curtious and clean. No excess water on the floor to mop up like I had last time the competition did it. Prices are reasonable, calls were returned promptly and I couldn't be happier with how everything came out. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing couches or rugs cleaned. read more

I absolutely LOVE Alan! He is ALWAYS on time and never overcharges. No hidden fees. He tells you exactly what the cost will be upfront. He is also incredibly helpful when it comes to moving furniture out of the way!! He is always professional and helpful. He never pushes me to clean additional rooms either--whatever I ask for is what he does. I have been using his services for the last few years, and his products are non-toxic--unlike most other carpet cleaning businesses. I believe that there are multiple Pro Dry companies in the area, but his is BY FAR the best. read more

Where do I start.... Well let me first start off by apologizing to Alan. Im sorry I did not write a review the first time you cleaned our carpets. This was about a year ago. The first time you came by, you did an amazing job. It was perfect. You vacuumed the edges of the room first, followed by a thorough vacuuming of the living room area. Joseph Allen's Pro Dry utilizes a dry method so what that means is your carpets don't damage as with other methods. If you do some research you will see how other methods shorten the life of your carpet. You even helped me by giving me information on how to remove a wax stain on my own, which I did. I really appreciated that. Thank you so much. I also had to leave early to work that day and asked alan if he could please lock the door behind him. My carpet was completely dry by the time I came home for lunch by the way. Everything was intact and in its place, all I have to say is that I trust this man around my family. He is a respectful, honorable, clean, organized, punctual, positive, fair, caring business owner and family man. So lets fast forward to todays carpet cleaning, This time I contracted Alan to clean all the carpet in the house. Living room, Hallway and bedrooms. AMAZING job once again. I kindly asked his polite and professional office manager if she had any way of filling me in before the thanksgiving holiday. They made it happen today 11/25/15 @ 6:30 am on the DOT! So all in all I am satisfied with Joseph Allen's Pro Dry, He is consistent and everything you want in a carpet cleaning company. This man is very pleasant to work with. We need more business owners like this. Im sure this posting may seem like I am selling him but if you come from my background you have to understand that small businesses run america. I am honored to give my testimony for this man as I respect his hard work and determination. These are qualities that not every person has. Give Joseph Alan a call and let his hard work and carpet cleaning do all the talking. You wont be disappointed, remember you pay for what you get for in life. So you might as well invest in your carpets if you really want them to last. read more
