After about 20 yrs. patient care is no longer the same. Dr. Ros was what I considered one of the best internal medicine doctors in Onslow County. When my spouse retired from the United States Marine Corps, our primary care Physician on base suggested we switch to internal medicine. Being part of the medical community helped us make an excellent choice in providers. Our reasons for choosing CCIMPA were accurate at the time. Other ventures in the office in my opinion have become more of a priority than patient care, and to many mistakes in both our care over the past five months led us to seek other care, with a different provider. The mistakes held up care that I am going through now. The way the office handled the situation, was to not take responsibility for the errors, and dismiss us from the practice immediately, once we stated we would be looking for another provider. Hence I have no primary care provider at a time in my medical care and I NEED one immediately. This is NOT considered good Standards of Care for any patient. read more

After visiting this location many times, I've decided to update my review. I've recently switched providers and this is why: 1. I routinely have to ask some office members to put in prescriptions at least five times before it's done (if ever). Sometimes they blame it on the pharmacy, other times they dont. Either way, it's a huge inconvenience. 2. Every time you need a refill or a referral adjusted, they make you come back in. Even if you were just seen. They say it's a "Tricare Rule" but Tricare says it's not. 3. It can take a while to get calls returned. 4. Even when some staff say they are "taking care" of something, you find out later it wasn't done and then have to continue the endless cycle of calling to try to get it completed. Overall, some staff members are what has ruined this practice for me. I simply don't have the time to make multiple calls for weeks (or even months) to get things resolved. I also don't have the time to go to the doctor for every little thing, especially when I was just seen. I really like Dr. Ros as a physician. If his office staff didn't have so many issues, I'd still be a patient. read more

Dr Ros has been my mom primary Doctor for years now . My mom recently had some bad news about an test she had done . The. Nurse called me with the news been that I've left an message inquiring about the results . My problem is Dr Ros couldn't take 5 mins out of his day to call me being the nurse couldn't give me no information about the disease I had to google it . No follow up information about what can be done or if anything can be done about it . The situation could have been handled way better. read more

I have been a patient at this office for over 2 years. I am the spouse of a Dept. of Defense employee who is being sent to mainland Japan. I needed a note simply stating that I was fit to travel overseas, nothing extensive at all. After being a patient there I did not think this would be a problem at all. I thought my doctor would want to see me and look through my records and provide this note....the answer I got was NO they would NOT provide such a note for me. The reason is beyond ridiculous. They also would NOT provide a physical for my spouse to go overseas. Bottom line is.....DO NOT go to this provider if you plan to travel at all and need documentation. Oh and I was also told it would take 7 to 14 days to receive a copy of my medical records. Horrible patient/customer service. read more

i was a patient of Dr.Ros for almost 9 yrs,had some problems with billing and got it taken care of, the reason i,m writing this review is i started going to another DR, and they found out i,m in kidney failure, Dr,Ros office knew i had only one kidney,and having blood work done every 6 months u would have thought that they would have done test to check on my kidney seeing it was working the way it should,i guess they care about other things then the welfare of some of their patients, just a warning u think they r helping u when they r not!!!!! read more
