I was told I could not see my doctor unless I paid a balance that I was unaware of. When I called…read morebilling I was told that they had a new system and the bills had not been sent out. How unprofessional. You will not allow me to have an appointment because you have not sent me a bill but you expect me to pay you just because you are telling me I owe you with no proof? This company is a joke. My provider is wonderful and deserves to work for a company that is better than this.

My latest is showing what my specialist believes is some form of cancer, I need my DR now more than ever! Dr Schumate is brilliant. He brings you the info you need to know and helps you come to a medical decision where YOU feel comfortable. That being said, I called today after waiting the allotted 72 hours on a prescription refill I requested. This happens all too often. You leave a message with clinical, clinical denies any responsibility of course they blame the Doc, I get to my appointment and tell dr that I requested a refill a week ago he looks in my chart and says "I didn't get the message. So my Dr blames clinical, clinical blames my doctor meanwhile their patients go without the care they need. I will suffer with the most agonizing cramps in my stomach, the worst pain in my liver. Unfortunately I think I'm going to have to find a new doctor.

The staff was welcoming and the place was very clean and modern. Doctor Martin was very patient in answering all our questions and concerns. Not once did we feel rushed or displeased with anything we experienced. We will be coming back.

When I made the appointment, no one told me that there was no pediatrician available and that I would be seeing a nurse practitioner. I was not aware of this until I was already in a room. I feel like patients should be told this, especially if they are first time patients. 2. The biggest issue that I had was regarding vaccines. I am not an anti-vaxxer, but I had a bit of a vaccination scare due to a reaction that my daughter had at her 4 month shots. I was still on the fence about a couple of vaccines by her 6 month check up, and I told them that I wanted to wait a week or so to vaccinate until I had read a bit more about the different side effects and their rate of occurrence. The NP treated me like an idiot for daring to question the infinite wisdom of the AAP and the CDC. She said "You should have thought about that before you had her." She also said "we just want what's best for her." Her tone suggested that I didn't. Just unprofessional on a variety of levels. No parent should be made to feel like a bad parent for daring to ask a question about the safety of vaccines. Less important things to consider: 3. When I walked in, there was a strong air freshener. Those things have phthalates, not to mention formaldehyde and ethylene-based glycol ethers- classifies by the EPA as environmental pollutants. 4. There were tablets attached to a small table to entertain children. This sounds cool and fun, but most kids get way too much screen time as it is. To be fair, they had a small bookshelf. But I just don't see any point in encouraging more screen time.
