This is an old school Miami classic. Remember coming here as a child. Love that it's river front. Has a great exercise park as well as pool and gym. Great park for a picnic or take out. There plenty of tables and seating. It's also entertaining to watch the boats pass by.

Very large park under the bridge of I95 overlooking the water with the wharf across the water. Lots of grass, fitness area, playground. Parking in the street.

This park is slowly becoming my favorite park to workout at. Just in the edge of little Havana next to Miami river facing Brickell and Downtown. It's very scenic. People will host fitness classes here and there more than enough space to jog around. The field in the center of the park is big enough for a sorts of games like soccer or dodgeball. They have a pool as well with lifeguards on duty I'm not sure of there hours but the park closes at 10pm which is are good hours if I have a day where I wanna workout late. They also have 3 fitness station 2 new and 1 a little older. They accommodate most bodyweight and calisthenic exercise you can think of. Of course they have a playground as well for the children. Across the street they have a few basketball courts underneath the bridges. One neat feature is watching boat parties on the river as they row up and down the river.

Free Bilingual Yoga every Tuesday at 6:00 PM. Todos los martes a las 6:00 p.m. All levels.

About two years ago I found out that the Parks Department offers free yoga classes throughout Miami. We are very fortunate to have Veronica Borrego lead an amazing all levels yoga class in Jose Marti Park. The class is taught in Spanish and English. 6:00 PM every Tuesday In case of rain the class is held in the dance studio at the Jose Marti Park gym. Free parking available in the lot. This is a great way to meet your neighbors and people in the community. Classes are all levels. If you are new to yoga or have years under your belt, Veronica's class is enjoyable, a learning experience and a rewarding challenge. Yoga helps you to reduce stress, become more flexible, breath more fully and enjoy life. Your age, experience or fitness level don't matter - it's open to all and all are welcome. Limited number of mats are available so be sure to bring your own if you have one along with a towel and water. Schedule http://www.bayfrontparkmiami.com/YogaClasses.html

This park could be a hidden gem in the Miami Downtown area,Nicely designed, good size, It is located in the Riverfront & you can see the miami downtown skyline & river view.It has a lot of amenities and great spot for photographers, it is a little bit abandoned, you can even find homeless people sleeping on the benches. The children's playground area is pretty big & well mantained, it also has a Swimming pool.

A nice park, it's under the I-95 right on the Miami River. There is a pool, a gym (only $3.00 for daily use for Miami-Dade County Residents) and Outdoor and Indoor Basketball Courts. There is free parking under the I-95.

Hardly ever have enough kids to make up a 5 person team to play. Watched only 3 kids on my sons team play against WAY better prepared teams with more than 5 players rotating in and out. They have games between their students, which again is super sad as they dont have enough kids to make even 1 team. So they switch kids from teams to play w kids they never played or trained with. Still have to pay to watch that nonsense. Even gave all the kids a trophy one time for ZERO reasons. It was supposed to be a championship I guess but not enough kids. So there were no winners or losers and they didnt even keep score. When they did keep score it was never correct. Scorers on sidelines were hanging out and not watching the games. Took away the saturday games to play another league that we had to pay to play in. They said they needed 10 kids. I assumed it was for 2 teams, but it was for 1 team. Bball masters charged $150 per kid but the actual cost for league was $130 PER TEAM. Sweet $1400 and it cost them nothing as they used the coach that would have been coaching on Saturday. We still had to pay full price for the month even without Saturdays. Then half the kids rode the bench 90% of the game. I asked the coach why and he said its to win games and put best lineup in. (Complete BS. The best kids were on the bench the whole game.) We were down by 20 pts the whole game. The kids on the bench were WAY better then those on court. But it shouldnt be like that for a league like this. Every kid should have had equal time playing. Zamira (The owner) called me immediately after I called the coach out on his lies (I told him it was a BS answer, which got my kid kicked out of the league. THANK GOD!) She then told me the truth. It was because the kids that had been with them the longest get to play the whole game and the newer kids needed to watch them as they hadnt competed before. (I guess every single Saturday for months didnt count apparently) Had nothing to do with winning or competing. The other teams were rotating their whole team during the game. They did not need 10 kids. It was just $750 in her pocket. There was at least 3 coaches when my kid started and when he left there was only 1. Just a real crap show over there! GO ANYWHERE BUT THERE!!

His teacher Ms Sujata is attentive and caring, she is brilliant at observing the child and providing just the right stimulation and support. She has given us plenty of great tips on how to support our son through various challenges. She is a professional you can trust every step of the way. I really appreciate that the school has a strong value system, so kindness and respect are truly FELT in the classrooms. My son is quite sensitive, so it was precious to have peace of mind and know that he feels safe at school. Last but not least, the school administration has been very responsive and forthcoming to meet all our needs. This kind of flexibility and personal approach is impossible to find anywhere else from my experience. I highly recommend Village Montessori to parents that are looking for excellent early education. It's a classic Montessori school with high standards, the teachers and director regularly advance their education, and we could see how the management are constantly striving to improve things - teachers training, free seminars for parents, events, classroom improvements, etc. We are really grateful to Village Montessori, Ms Sujata, Joan, Mike and the team for creating such a special community and experience during the formative years of our child's life!

I felt it was a place for babies since that required less work as far as developmentally. Once my child got to an age where learning was to come into play, I felt it was less than par and I was constantly having to monitor her growth there which is exhausting when I have to mention things like letting my child run around with no clothes on because she used the bathroom instead of calling me to bring her a change of clothes. Or that she would leave there with her shoes on the wrong feet, meaning no one took the time to notice that she put her shoes on improperly when she is at a age when her feet are also developing and walking around in shoes that are not on right is detrimental to the growth of them. She has come home a few times with scratches from other kids, one time a bite, and even her eye got pocked so I had to bring her to urgent care, all incidents I was NEVER called about, I discovered them when she got home which tells me they are not being watched. I would spend the weekend potty training her and she would be there for two days and revert back to diapers because they were not taking the time to keep that up. It was only after I kept bringing it up and refused to bring diapers anymore that it finally started to change. And even at first they would send her home in diapers that were too small because again LAZY!!! The daycare owner or manager will actually talk about your business with other teachers and people who don't even work at the school! For instance, I had someone from my GYM ask me why Stephanie (the owner or manager not sure) was asking about my living situation and my sister. Yes, this actually happened. I never addressed it with her because that is apparently who she is but def kept it in mind. That is not only unprofessional, its immature and this lady runs a school my child goes to! She also is famous for deflecting any issues and making them someone elses fault. I.E. one time I went to pick up my child and her shoes were on wrong yet again and she actually said to me "well she put them on that way so...".. Really , thanks dumba$$ for the clarification, so should I sit and tell my three year old to watch how she puts on her shoes because it can impact the growth of her feet.. or tell the owner and teacher I pay hundreds of dollars a month to to look after the kids they watch!!?? That's a hard one... ahh NO its not.. its her fault!! My child's behavior slowly went from loving as a baby to frustrated and annoyed and defensive and protective every day she was there. Now at three, I can see that the environment there was not a pleasant one. Proof that I made the right choice in leaving is the fact that She has only been at a new school for two days and her whole attitude when she comes home is different now. Coincidence? I think not! I will never recommend this daycare to anyone ever. And if you have a child that you want to have a loving, caring, responsible, nurturing and educational experience, then don't take your kids here either! But, if you don't care and don't mind your kids spending most of the day watching movies and/or outside and eating junk food, then its the place for you! I loved one of the teachers there but she was unhappy too and ended up leaving so that was all she wrote!

Coral Way lies along Coral Way Road which was established by Coral Gables founder George E. Merrick during the 1920s. The Coral Way subdivisions contain a charming mix of Mission Revival Style architecture and bungalow homes from the 1920s, Art Deco style from the 1930s, and modest post-World War II homes. Shenandoah is one of the oldest areas in the city of Miami and its park is one of the most visited in the city. In 2014 Coca-Cola and the City of Miami teamed up to renovate Shenandoah Park to encourage people to be more active and embrace fitness. Coca-Cola donated more than $200,000 in a grant to help the city expand the park's playground, build an outdoor fitness equipment area and upgrade its tennis courts. In 2021 the City of Miami broke ground on a new aquatic center, basketball courts, soccer field, and fitness equipment. Other Shenandoah Park amenities include a playground, picnic tables, and racquetball court. The park also has a recreation center that offers after school programs, camps, youth programs, computers, and fitness classes while the Aquatics Center offers swim lessons, water aerobics, lap swimming, and recreational swim practice. This neighborhood park has something to appeal to every member of the community. The park space was so skillfully utilized to pack so much in. There is even a library adjacent to the park for even more recreational and cultural programs. It is also beautifully landscaped with public art.
