The views were absolutely beautiful, and the restaurant is located up a flight of stairs. We were seated quickly and didn't have to wait too long for service. They had quite a selection of beers and brews, and I loved the vintage style bar. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and unfortunately, we felt the portion size was too much. I think the price could be lowered in exchange for a smaller serving because we felt bad wasting so much food. My fish arrived warm and was served with hand-cut fries. The batter was a little different from anything we've tried before. It was good, but I think there may have been a bit too much pepper added. It wasn't bad, just a different flavor profile, so keep that in mind. Overall, if you're looking for a place with beautiful views, we would recommend it. I ultimately decided on a 4 star rating rather than a 3 star rating because the scenery really added to our day in Sitka.

The Mac and cheese was delicious as well--would definitely recommend! The salmon chowder, salmon plate and salmon dip were all solid choices too. The kale salad wasn't my favorite. The candied pecans were a nice part of it though and I still finished it. The hummus plate was more of an open sandwich and my parents really liked that.
