As I walked in I was greeted by both a sales assistant and Rebeca the owner. Both were very friendly and accommodating, and within a few minutes, I had beautiful sparkly studs in my ears. I was very pleased with how meticulous Rebeca was on making sure the holes were even, she even pulled out a little ruler to measure. The piercing was pretty painless (it was my third hole so I'm kinda a pro.) I was really happy with my experience. It's a calm environment which I think would be good for kids. You are given a cleaning lotion and instructions how to keep them clean and infection free! I am pretty sure they do cartilage piercing on the ear also. Beside the ear piercing, they have a ton of cute accessories to browse. I ended up getting a necklace that have been searching for after seeing it on a girl at the Belmont Stakes. Walking in there was no salutations, just a direct sales approach more of a cold contact engagement with no ice breaking. After I informed the person in the front of my desires, she escorted me to a certain section, I passed another salesperson who locked eyes and gave a warmer greeting that made me feel more at ease. I didn't find what I wanted because the fad is skinny pants, I do not wear anything skinny, that's not my style and that's predominantly what this store stocks. The sweater and shirt that I tried were fitting on the smaller size as well. I was informed that they do special orders for a classic fit but the price would be doubled, starting at $350. My personal opinion, the fashion industry should consider that they can't force a person to adapt to the current styles so bring back the styles were all men can have choices and not succumb to a certain fad. There was slight turbulence leaving the store due to the person assisting me asked the sales rep for help with locating my desires by referring me to another company. He said he didn't know but I guess he was thinking on it and passed the information to me and the sales lady rudely interrupted him saying that he told her that he didn't know of any locations. From the first suits for a Bar Mitzvah twenty years ago, when my sons were little, to the suits, casual and outerwear purchases made this month, Mur-Lee's has had options that left both of my sons looking and feeling great, while meeting each of their budgets and personal style preferences. The store's offering on-site alterations is an enormous convenience and value-added benefit. With the proliferation of on-line shopping, I am glad there is still a brick & mortar specialty store like Mur-Lee's that offers the kind of customer experience that used to be readily available.
