The son took my name and what i was looking for on a writing pad after I looked at the fabric book and explained what I was looking for. Jr kept trying to steer me to a black awning (which I was considering) but then I saw the Black cherry. He said his Dad would get back to me and off I went. Crickets for three days. Back in I went. The Dad didn't know anything about me but we found the notepad. He came out to look at the house, my awning frame, and gave me a ballpark quote and said they were a little backed up but could do it. The next afternoon, I went out and the frame was gone!!! Didn't even hear them!! Within 8 days, I got a call about the trim color confirmation. Two days after that, MY AWNING WAS HERE!!! Once again, didn't hear them come out and install it!! They repainted the frame. The color and trim are perfect!! AND it was all done within 2 weeks!!!! How is that backlogged???? Jamal needs to read the contracts and claims, and any complaint he might have is with the insurance company, not Takoda. They replaced the roof twice (because of hail damage) and did the gutters on our new house. The work is always fast, reasonably priced, and done RIGHT. I am hiring them to do more work on our new house as well. Don't let someone who is taking his frustrations out on the wrong person because he doesn't understand how insurance works color your view.
