When I walked in, I wasn't sure if they were actually still in business or if the shop was just a place to store their construction stuff. These guys are OLD SCHOOL!!! The son took my name and what i was looking for on a writing pad after I looked at the fabric book and explained what I was looking for. Jr kept trying to steer me to a black awning (which I was considering) but then I saw the Black cherry. He said his Dad would get back to me and off I went. Crickets for three days. Back in I went. The Dad didn't know anything about me but we found the notepad. He came out to look at the house, my awning frame, and gave me a ballpark quote and said they were a little backed up but could do it. The next afternoon, I went out and the frame was gone!!! Didn't even hear them!! Within 8 days, I got a call about the trim color confirmation. Two days after that, MY AWNING WAS HERE!!! Once again, didn't hear them come out and install it!! They repainted the frame. The color and trim are perfect!! AND it was all done within 2 weeks!!!! How is that backlogged???? These guys are amazing!! Something you don't find anymore - a great family business that does great work at an amazingly fair price!!!!

Very very poor or ZERO customer service. It is impossible to get a hold of a live person. Visited the local store and was told that they would contact the main office and we would get a call from them but haven't heard from anyone. And contacted other window repair companies but was told they might not be able to repair because pella had lots of control or authority over their products which makes repair super difficult. If they produced good quality products, they better back up or follow up with their repair . It has been a huge hassle trying to get the window repaired. If I had a choice on windows, I would choose a company or brand that was easy to contact and always attend to their customers promptly. Based on experience, i would not choose pella.
