I had an amazing experience with Dr. Jorge Martin and his entire office throughout my pregnancy and C-section journey. Dr. Martin is an exceptional doctor professional, compassionate, attentive, and always willing to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable and confident in my care. I am especially grateful for how well he took care of me during my C-section and for making such an important moment in my life a positive experience. His office staff is just as wonderful. Diana and Olga were always kind, helpful, welcoming, and made every visit a pleasant experience. From my prenatal appointments through the delivery of my baby, I felt genuinely cared for. I'm incredibly thankful to Dr. Martin, Diana, Olga, and the entire office team and would highly recommend them! read more

Dr. Martín is unprofessional and a huge creep, who shouldn't have access to ANY women!!! Run away from this office and him. How he's been in business for this long is INSANE. He made a comment to me 3 days after my mother had an invasive surgery with him, asking when I was going to leave my boyfriend, that he could've given me triplets. DISGUSTING! I have never felt so violated by words. My mother felt unsafe and uncomfortable after that, that the office even had to cancel her post operative appt with Dr.Berg despite him being the one to do the surgery. My mother was on post-op for 3 months, a month later she was having discomfort and wanted to be seen again but by Dr.Berg. The office made it difficult to schedule an appt, and asked that she go to the hospital. We couldn't afford another medical bill hence why we wanted to be seen by Miramar OBGYN, since we were under post op period still. This office has been a nightmare and I only wish it the worst, I hope and pray for the women he has to see and engage with. read more

Dear Drs. Martin and Gonzalez, You guys are so professional and amazing. Thank you for that. :) I have only been coming to this office for a couple of years now. When I began coming here (2007) it was at the referral of a family friend, and I was so pleased to have found such an amazing doctor. Back then, it was just Dr. Martin. If there's one thing I can say, is that Dr. Martin has the best bedside manners of any male OB/GYN that I have ever been seen by. He is very thorough in that he explains everything that he is doing/going to do, every step of the way. He also asks a lot of questions and makes sure to get a good history/background on his patients. He always has his nurse with him, which I know is standard, but I'm always appreciative. This year Dr. Martin was booked for a solid month, when I needed to make my yearly appointment. A little disappointed, but knowing I needed to go, I decided to try his new partner, Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez. I am really glad I gave her a chance because she's just awesome as well. Very friendly and outgoing, she makes you feel comfortable from the moment she enters the room. Her and I were even joking about my turning 30 this year. I was able to ask her questions about some stuff I had going on, and she was able to give me detailed information and explanations. This office just ROCKS. :) Even the office staff is very helpful and nice, and never rude, which is a pet peeve of mine at ANY doctors office. Will be back next year, on schedule. Thank you for the continued excellent service and professionalism. It's so important. Best Regards, SabrinaAnna* read more

I love Dr. Martin, been going to him since I was a teenager! He's a great doctor, very kind and has the best attitude when you speak to him. I wish I could put more stars because that's how great he is. The office is clean and quiet, the staff members are also nice! read more

I am writing a review on the staff and office in general. My Doctor is Dr. Berg so I cannot really say much about Dr. Martin. I have been here for about 10 years and the change in staff and front office, extremely disorganized and inconsiderate. This is people's health you are working with, it is not only about the money! I found a new doctor after an incident with the staff and no response from my Dr. (Berg) while going through an emergency pain. read more

I love Dr Martin. He is the best. I wish I could give him more stars. He is the most humble, genuine, caring and passionate doctor I have ever had. I have been going to his office for over 10 years and even though I have moved I still make the drive because it is worth it. He truly cares about his patients and any concerns that may arise no matter how minuscule it might sound he gets right on it. His medical assistant Olga is also amazing. !!! I highly recommend him. read more

I came to this office for various years. I was quite upset when they intentionally lied and said my Dr. (Elizabeth Gonzalez) is no longer practicing. They immediately wanted to book me with their new doctor. They fooled my mom but I immediately googled and noticed she was somewhere else. She was too good of a doctor to just stop practicing. For those looking for her the new number is 954-332-9973. She's down the street from Martin. Dr.Martin and staff you are professionals/Dr.s you should practice honesty. It's quite the attribute for a doctor. Do not sacrifice your integrity to keep a few bucks. read more

I started going here in 2009 for prenatal care and made a great decision. Even though I initially visited based on the reviews for Dr. Martin, I actually saw Dr. Gonzalez more. They are both excellent but I'll just say since I saw Dr. Gonzalez more, she was really flexible in accommodating my needs as a patient. I went on to have the labor and childbirth experience I wanted because of Dr. Gonzalez. read more

I have been a patient in this office for a little less than 1 year. I decided to switch from my long time ob/gyn and I am so happy I did. The office is clean and organized. I have never had to wait a long time to be seen by the Dr. The front office staff and nurses are amazing! They are the most friendly helpful staff I have come across at any Dr's office. They have such great energy and are so welcoming. I have never had any issues with appointments, paperwork, follow ups, etc. I am a patient of Dr Berg who I also think is amazing. She really takes the time to listen and answers all the question I have. I am truly greatful to have found this office and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Dr Martin is very kind and positive. My husband and I really trust him with our twin pregnancy. We love that he always does the ultrasounds himself and explains everything well. He has a great and warm personality. Great bedside manners. I was recommended to him by a friend and been seeing him for a few years, he's always been great. read more

Hello! These two doctors are exceptional! I found them based off of online ratings and reviews and boy am I glad I did. I never liked going to the gyno because some of them are sooooo in-personal and I do not like the way that feels and getting tested is always uncomfortable even if you know your OK. So when I got pregnant in Nov 2010 I wanted an OBGYN that does sonograms in their office and also deliver babies (its pretty hard to find believe it or not). I found them and made an appt. I felt so comfortable in their office from day 1, dealing with either Dr. Martin or Dr. Gonzalez is always a pleasure. I was in the hospital (Memorial Miramar) 3 times because of pregnancy related issues and Dr. Gonzalez visited me each and every time. When you check in to Memorial West or Memorial Miramar they contact Dr. Martin or Dr. Gonzalez right away and they will tell the nurse what exactly you will need and even order medication or specific treatments! They also have a nurse named Suzie at their office that is always available to answer any questions patients may have and she is awesome as well, just leave her a message and she will call you back asap! They do ultrasounds during every visit, when you get far along in your pregnancy they will even do the 4D for you (just ask) they send you for testing right on time and notify you of results via phone. They have a beautiful office in West Miramar! They prescribed prenatal vitamins that are vegan and gave me nooooo side affects, simply the best. They both deliver babies so I am looking forward to knowing they will be there for me. There office staff is also on top of their stuff and very nice. When you arrive you will wait approx 40 min to 1hr but that's in most OBGYN offices either way and at least the scenery is nice and they have TV on so that's makes time go quicker. I drive all the way from North Miami to go to these doctors so that has to stand for something. They are patient, knowledgeable and just the best! I don't usually write reviews but I know someone out there is looking for an OBGYN in Pembroke Pines and will most likely give them a chance, and you will be glad you did! If you have any question you can email me mw1286@yahoo.com. Thanks! read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Martin. Throughout my pregnancy, he was wonderful. He answered my questions thoroughly. He was very responsive and very positive. I was impressed by his level of knowledge. Most importantly, I felt my baby and I were safe in his care. A friend of mine had recommended him after her all natural birth and I was very pleased with the recommendation. When I was 38w2d pregnant, I went in for a routine checkup. The appointment was on a Friday. After listening to the heartbeat, Dr. Martin informed me that all looked great. I was ready to leave my appointment for work when he instructs me to head to the hospital. In his words he could break my water and I would have the baby in less than 4 hours. I was shocked and worried. I heard him say all was well and suddenly he seemed eager for me to have my baby in just hours. I asked what was wrong and his response was why do I want to continue being pregnant. I'm "almost" 39 weeks so it was perfectly fine. This was not my first pregnancy. I was induced with my daughter and the Pitocin was an awful experience. I was in no rush to experience that again. So I said that my preference was to let my son come when he is ready. Dr. Martin was put off by it but then said, well he'll be here this weekend anyway. Sure enough, that Sunday I went into labor on my own. My intention was to always get the epidural which I did as soon as I arrived to the hospital. Unfortunately, when it came time to push, the epidural stopped working. I wasn't mentally prepared for this and I needed just a few minutes to compose myself. After pushing twice, literally for 2 minutes, Dr. Martin made the decision to use the vacuum to retrieve my son. It was not medically necessary. He was just in a rush to be completed with me as he had other c-sections scheduled at the same time. Understand that the vacuum is typically used in emergency situations or when the mother has been pushing for 3+ hours. Neither of which were my case. My son ended up with a bruise on his head which is normal when using the vacuum. However, because our blood type didn't mix he was jaundice and this bruise caused an increased level which required him to stay in the hospital. I was so disappointed in Dr. Martin. I felt that the 38 weeks of him listening, being compassionate, and me trusting him went down the drain due to his lack of patience. I later found out by the nurses in the hospital that he has a high rate of inductions and c-sections. I even saw a lactation consultant at a different hospital who worked with him in the past and she said the same exact thing. I also found out that my friend had an all natural experience with him because she went into labor quickly and there was no time for anything else, not even to administer an epidural. Overall, if you know you are going to have a c-section and you don't mind being induced (you should mind but to each her own) then he is a great doctor for you. If you don't fit in the above, please find another doctor. read more

I am honestly at a loss of words with this office. The doctors are great, but their front desk staff is AWFUL! I am a healthcare professional myself and I cannot believe the lack of professionalism they have. I've really tried to give them chances time after time, but I cannot take coming here anymore. I've had three back to back experiences where I have been completely dissatisfied with their customer service. I have even spoken to their manager in regards to it, but it looks like there is no fixing. They are rude, incompetent, clueless and have zero consideration of their patients time. The cherry on top has been the fact that I've called TWO days straight at different times for a serious health concern and I don't even get a hello!!! They place me on hold. I can literally hear the line being picked up and getting placed back on hold every couple of minutes (if you think that little beeping noise for a call on hold is annoying, imagine me on the other side!). Yesterday I was placed on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up and hung the phone. That is inconsiderate and bad practice. I can understand someone being busy or with a patient, but not for that long. If you're going to place someone on hold, have the delicacy of telling them and if it's going to be longer than five minutes, get their name/number and call them back. We all have things to do. I am sorry to Dr. Berg and Dr. Martin, but I will be going somewhere else from now on. Maybe you consider revamping your front desk staff. read more

In response to the above review the correct number to reach Dr. G is 954-332-9972. Hope this helps

I have to begin by saying that the rating is not a reflection of the doctors but of there staff. I absolutely love Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez. She explains everything, takes her time, is super compassionate and a joy to speak with. The staff is also pleasant but tends to forget about the patients. On my second appointment, after seeing the doctor, I have to wait an hour for my lab requisting form because the medical assistant had forgotten about it. When I get to Quest to draw my blood I was informed that the diagnoisis were wrong and my insurance information that she had enter was outdated by three years. Quest refused to draw my blood with the order so I drove to the office personally to get a new and again waited 45 mins. I understand they have other patients but 45mins??? To correct some information on a computer and print it??? 45 mins??? I had to leave since I had an another appontment. Anyway, go prepared. read more

I visited Dr. Gonzales in the Dr. Martin's office during my whole pregnancy sometimes I saw Dr. Martin himself. They were recommended to me by my friend who also delivered with them and she was very impressed. I started my visits with them and was impressed as well by their knowledge and attitude, but, unfortunately, my delight didn't last long. Waiting time in the office was usually 2-4 hours!!, but I could live with that, the worse yet were to come. I was concerned about if my labor begins at night 3-4 in the morning if they will be able to come to the hospital if I would be able to reach them that latel. And I was reassured by both Dr Gonzalesof and Dr. Martin that they never ever leave me by myself and will be there for me on my important day, they gave their word they would not leave me to deliver alone. But when the big day came,( my labors started at 5 p.m. not that late)but none of them could be reached neither by me nor by the hospital, and the hospital didn't know what to do. Finally they gave me another doctor, whom I was nervous to deliver with as I never even met him before and he didn't know neither me nor my situation. I felt betrayed and abandoned, knowing that my doctor didn't even kept on her promise and never showed up on the big day as she promised. Of course I would not recommend her to my friends as I'm not sure she won't abandon them as well. I don't know even how to react to that, I'm just in shock... read more
